Overall, the house is very nice and in a good location. It's a short walk to East Chop beach and downtown isn't too far either. All of the rooms have AC which is nice.
My main issues were communicating with Vacasa regarding a few issues that needed attention. The communication was very poor and frustrating.

The property manager has not returned any correspondence regarding an important bag that was left on the property from our stay. This place was too expensive for the quality and service that we received. Whatever you do, do not leave anything that you value after check out because it will likely not be returned.

Amazing location!
We truly enjoyed our stay as the house is very charming and the location is very walkable into town. We loved the front and back porch, updated kitchen, and numerous bedrooms. A shower in the upstairs bathroom would be helpful, and additional toilet paper/garbage bags stocked, but those are minor and did not negatively impact our stay. We did not interact with property management, as instructions were simple and easy to follow. Would highly recommend!

This house is located in quiet neighborhood but very close to down town. House is very nice, very stocked kitchen. Only issue is with Vacasa which is very hard to communicate. They don't reply easily to any email. Especially, when you book first time, they should email all the FAQ, so people know what to expect and when. House is very nice.

OB September weekend Getaway
Spent the long weekend in September. Great time of year! Hoodies on the beach all day, shopping in Edgartown and football on Sunday! House was big, has nice character and in great location to Circuit Ave( 1/2 mile). Small store for groceries and beer is even closer. Would love to come back

We spent a lovely long weekend with our family. 3-twenty something’s and 2-teenagers. The layout of the bedrooms worked well. My favorite was the comfortable porch for morning coffee and evening happy hour before a quick walk downtown for dinner. The yard could use some tending to.

Excellent location near Oak Bluffs Harbor
We had a great stay in this home in July. There were 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 kids, and the house offered plenty of space to spread out. The house was very clean and was exactly as pictured and described. The beds were all comfortable. Two of the four bedrooms were smaller/tighter, but it did not bother us. Only the downstairs bedroom had a small closet - the others did not. But, there were drawers and hooks in all of the other rooms. It wasn't an issue for us. All of the beds came with clean sheets and blankets, and every bedroom had plenty of fresh, clean towels. We only needed to bring beach towels! The house had ample supply of beach chairs (the kind you can carry on your back). There is a/c is every bedroom, plus the living room and kitchen, and we needed it. The kitchen was well stocked, though I confess we did not do a lot of cooking. One minor complaint was that the primary kitchen lights did not work (over the kitchen table), so the kitchen was rather dark at night. The only working lights were over the island and they are quite dim. Grateful for the outdoor shower because the upstairs bathroom only has a tub. Other minor complaint is that the downstairs shower had extremely low pressure and the drain started to clog after about 10min. It would have been a major issue had we all tried to shower in there, but the majority of my family chose to shower outdoors after the beach. The washer and dryer worked really well. The front porch was lovely! The house is located very close to Oak Bluffs Harbor. We found it took us less than 10 minutes to walk to downtown OB, and we loved that convenience. The house is also about 10 minutes from Jetty Beach (East Chop), which was also very convenient. The house claims to have a parking spot, but we could not figure out where that was supposed to be. That being said, we never had an issue parking right out front of the house. Neighborhood was pretty quiet. We would rent here again!

The location is fantastic and walking distance to shops, food, the beach and water. I would have liked to see there be gas in the tank for the grill and the information on the website to access the property was not correct. The doors were left unlocked. When we contacted Vacasa (management group), they didn't respond and I still haven't heard back. I would be weary of that if you do have issues. The shower downstairs does not drain well, but I read prior reviews on that and was already aware of that being an issue. Great amount of space for a family too. Plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. Beds were comfortable too.

Air conditioning was installed literally the day we checked in and it was a gift from the heavens. There is AC in every bedroom and the living space and kitchen down stairs as well as fans. We were a group of 8 and the 4 bedrooms worked out perfectly for us. A couple of the bedrooms (ie the one downstairs and one upstairs) are on the cosier side, but worked fine for the couples who were staying there. The bedroom with two beds at the back of the house is nicely sized and I would image being perfect for children or teens who want more of their own space. Bedroom at the front of the house had a great screened in balcony where I sat with my boyfriend every morning to enjoy the tranquillity. There are two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) we mostly used the one downstairs as it was a large shower, rather than the clawfoot tub upstairs. There is also an outside shower which we used a lot and was perfect for after the beach. We enjoyed using the deck and the street isnt busy at all so there is plenty of privacy. The kitchen is basically fully stocked with a lot of cutlery, plates, utensils etc. Wifi and TV worked great as well. House comes with beach chairs and umbrellas which were VERY useful. Overall, I highly recommend!

Good / some areas of improvement
Microwave didn’t work , shower leaked pretty bad onto floor , the house was incrediably hot at times. Invest in at least one air unit per floor - so at least you can gather in a room. Renters will not return otherwise . The window treatments kept falling off the windows which did not allow privacy in the bedroom , skunks living under side deck , exterior a mess , cleaning service -fair , dressers drawers non functional as you could not open most drawers, suggest converting upstairs tub to include a shower . Two nights in a row a car parked in front of property one night a person was smoking weed , the other night 2 people arguing . Made me feel very uneasy given I had no blinds or drapes to close and a single mom w/ my teenagers . Less is more......Lots of “ stuff “ everywhere . Property manager-Don , very responsive and professional . Booking was seamless . TVs and cable package a plus . Kitchen was spacious and updated. Plenty of porch seating . Close walk to package store and town. Nice living room setup . Kids loved the upstairs TV space . Nice cooler , decent beach chairs . Great I could rent 3 nights, price was fair.
3 out of 5 stars . I would probably seek out a different property my next visit unless some changes were made .

Great Location - Awful house management and very dirty
We were so excited with the location and some of the comforts of the home! Unfortunately, the house was not cleaned very well (shower stall had built up sledge on tile from never being cleaned), toilet were not cleaned, No bath towels upon arriving (after waiting on hold for 10min with management company, they did send towels over) dirty wet rugs left in laundry room, old soaps and personal items left in outdoor shower, Microwave was broken, no handle on kitchen sink (when we contacted management service they said they would send someone over - never fixed), ants are all over house - bedrooms and kitchen, curtain was taped up with blue painters tape, microwave was broken, No bikes were there as promised in description. There are NO cleaning supplies so pack your own! This house would be a great place to stay if it were managed properly. It has a great covered porch, a deck off the kitchen, great outdoor grill, plenty of beach chairs and a newer kitchen with everything you need to prepare any meal. The management company did give me a small credit, but not nearly what I think I should have gotten back.

Had a terrific time
House is a bit quirky- used the downstairs as master since cooler downstairs. small bed for 2... Great location and kitchen but since no AC upstairs gets uncomfortably warm... fans help. Only one indoor shower (outdoor shower is great) upstairs has a tub.

Cute 5BR near the town center
Everything was great except the cleaning service on the house.... the floors were filthy, we had no toilet paper and there was an old bar of soap left from previous renters... so I could bet they didn't clean there.

Fabulous location!
Fabulous location!!! Walking distance (15-20 mins) to the beautiful downtown area filled with shops and restaurants. The house has everything you need, well stocked and amazing front porch area to relax.
The property manager was very nice and responsive when we couldn't find or open the lock box right away. Very helpful and nice over the phone, genuinely cared and wanted us to have a great vacation.
We had 10 people in our group and everyone enjoyed their time at the house. The house says it can hold 12 people, and it does have enough beds for those to "double up" to 12, however there is one bedroom on the end of the house and in order to access the staircase or bathroom from there, you have to walk through another bedroom, which made some awkward moments when folks were changing etc. I would recommend this place if you don't use the middle bedroom upstairs (max 10). Also there is only one bathroom with a shower (downstairs), and there is no heating or air conditioning but there are fans in every room.. so pack and bring clothes accordingly. Lovely place to stay w/ a large group.. would definitely stay again!

Really great house in an even better location! So close to town, we walked there everyday. The house was perfect for our group. Tons of rooms, and the kitchen was very inviting and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation
The property was very quaint and an overall nice place to stay. Check in/out was effortless. The home was clean, very well kept, and had enough space for everyone to sleep. It's a great house to rent for a family vacation. Lots of outdoor space. The location of the property is apprx. a 15 minute walk to Oaks Bluff downtown and the beach, which is nice because you don't need a car unless you want to travel to other parts of the island.

Mid week getaway
15 min walk to oaks bluff, a real plus. But double beds didnt work for three couples with toddlers. Would be excellent choice for families with older children, ours were 7, 3, 2, and 1-1/2. No space for toddlers to share double bed with parents. Stairs were steep for the little ones. Kitchen was beautiful and worked well.

Would not recommend for small children, stairs were steep and difficult for toddlers, who of course decided this was where they wanted to be! we had a 3, 2, and 1-1/2 year old. Probably would work for age 4 or 5 and up. Teens would enjoy the private back bedroom with two double beds.
