We loved our stay! We had 5 adults and utilized the air mattress. The location was great! The breeze with the windows open was fantastic. I'd definitely stay here again. Directions for check-in and out were clear and easy to follow. Property is dated, but is perfect for a vacation (or to attend a wedding at the Coronado!)and literally is steps from the beach.

Beautiful views of the beach and ocean including the IB fishing pier. Local restaurants easily in walking distance. Secure unit w convenient parking, just a dozen or so miles from SAN.

The house was overlooking the beach and that is always a bonus. It was not readily handicap accessible but we made it work.

This condo had a great ocean view, with amazing sunsets. Also important to know if you're reading reviews: this place had a comfy master bed and great shower :) The property communication was fast and helpful, and handled our issues quickly. We were promised that the unit had a beach umbrella and boogie boards, but they weren't there when we arrived. After contacting management, they promptly brought the missing items. Without these, we wouldn't have enjoyed the beach as much. Otherwise, the included beach chairs and towels made for a relaxing and fun vacation. The unit is a bit older, but seems well-cared for and felt clean. The kitchen isn't very well stocked, but the grills on the first floor worked for cooking our own meal instead of going out during the pandemic.

This place was not to bad. Dishes were not cleaned and we found broken dishes mixed with other dishes. All in all I would stay again.

We had a great stay here! Everything was clean and fresh. Close to shopping and lots of fun shops and restaurants.

Unit location was beach side with fantastic views of the Imperial Beach pier and park. Easy access to I75 and I5 with shopping within a couple miles as well. Unit was very well stocked with everything we needed. Had some issues initially with the A/C unit but was handled quickly and efficient;y by Trish and the maintenance staff. The pool is currently closed, I suppose because of the Covid19 scare, but the condo next to us was open and also a few other pools in town were open. Even though we had the entire beach in front of us, it would have been nice for the grandkids to take a dip in the pool once in a while. If a pool is important to you, you may want to ask prior to going. Other than that, we enjoyed our balcony and beach time. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Just what we had hoped for - beach front, sunset viewing, comfortable getaway. The place was easy to find, simple directions to access, beautiful inside and close to everything, including the beach right below is. Views were spectacular all day with pier and palm trees.

stayed June 8-12. I am writing to advise of several items. 1. The grills were not working, and no where was it posted that the grills were not operational. 2. The elevator was not working on 6/11. 3. Loud construction taking place Wednesday thru Friday 4. No hot water on 6/10 in the morning 5. The dishwasher did not work. I tried several times to use it and the dishes did not get cleaned. I ended up hand washing the dishes. 6. The blow up mattress stayed inflated for less than 10 minutes, which resulted in my son sleeping on the living room floor. 7. Most of the kitchen appliances were old and outdated as well as the hair dryer. It almost seemed as if the appliances were bought at a rummage sale. 8. The first day we were there a sign was posted on the beach stating no swimming due to high sewage levels. I emailed this list to the management company and received a reply stating we should have reported the issues during our stay. My response was “why did they happen in the first place?”

Everything was nice. We were very limited as to what we could do with the Corona virus lockdown in place but despite all that we enjoyed our time next to the beach

Everything as expected. Quiet, clean and overall very enjoyable. Very convenient to restaurants. Easily accessible to attractions.

This property worked great for our vacation. It is not a brand new building but everything is well maintained and tended to. Felt comfortable and secure. The unit we chose, 301, was perfect for us. Up high enough to enjoy the view from the balcony of the beach, sunsets, surfers, pier, and the people in the park toward the left. Really liked the decor- I don’t like the typical “seashore “ pastels and artwork. The strong colors and sea life paintings in 301 were a welcome touch. Regarding negatives - we did not call the manager during our visit because it wasn’t necessary. That said here are some points for the record: drapes on the picture windows to block the heat of the sun during the day would save electricity for air conditioning! The iron needs to be replaced. As mentioned in other reviews, the master bed is kinda wonky where you sit to get up - you can slide off! But we slept fine. Overall, great place!

The master bathroom definitely needs some real cleaning! All the vents for A/C are Disgusting! The “tile” is very uneven!!! And uncomfortable to walk on Im an amputee and had a hard time getting threw the house and the outside patio also needs to be a little more cleaner. For what we paid and all the deadlines you gave us I expected a more!

We had a great stay! The property was exactly what we were looking for - great location and beautiful view!! Just steps to the beach. We would definitely come back. A few minor things could make it even better - the kitchen lacked what we needed - baking dish, pizza pan, pot holders, and a decent toaster. I think you really should get rid of the one in there. I was afraid smoke alarms would go off - burns on the bottom and doesn't toast on the top. Also, a quick update of blinds would be nice - those are falling apart. But, again very minor details!! Loved that you had beach towels and chairs!! Thanks again! We'll be back!

Imperial beach is great, the beach is amazing, not crowded, the location is right on the beach. The complex is very nice and has good security. The unit is a bit dated however everything was clean and the pictures are accurate. The deck is very small and only room for 2 chairs, the supplied chairs are not very comforatable. The beds are very nice however they are very firm. We had a great time and the weather was amazing. When we arrived the AC did not work however by opening the windows we had a great beach breeze.

Overall, was a great experience and we really loved the condo and location. It was really nice to be able to walk right down to the beach. The view from the patio was beautiful. The condo was spacious and it was really nice to have two beds different sizes in the 2nd bedroom. The pool area was nice. Having a shower downstairs to wash off sand was a plus. My only complaints were— the windows open up and out from the bottom without very secure screens. If you have littles this definitely could make you nervous. My 18 month old definitely could have fallen, so we just avoided those and opened a window by the patio instead. Some pots/pans etc were a little worn. The master mattress didn’t really fit the bed properly. The left side (looking at the bed) hung off despite fixing it daily. All in all, those were very minor things, and we loved the condo and would definitely stay there again!

This was the first time trying VRBO or anything like it so I was very nervous. Everything was PERFECT!!! It exceeded our expectations and then some. We will for sure be using this place again when we make it back to San Diego!!!

Family of four with teenage twins enjoyed our 5 day stay. Great communication for check-in and check-out. Location was great. Right on the beach with several place to eat within walking distance. Easy access to all tourist sites. One star subtracted for minor oversights by cleaning crew. Would definitely recommend this unit and would stay again.

The condo was exactly as pictured. Clean and on the sand. The service was non-existent. We needed some blankets as the condo notes it sleeps up to 7 but is only stocked for 4. We also had trouble with the tv in the living room and no response on how to fix that. It was a nice place but attention to the guests when reaching out needs work.

Everything we had hoped for happened. The entire rental process was very straight forward and easy to follow. Our stay was totally hassle free.

My family and I (which included a toddler and an elderly disabled individual) recently resided at this condo for a family vacation and we loved it. it was exactly as pictured. the view was great, the condo was in great shape and had everything we needed. i enjoyed the privacy. and even though they were doing construction next door it did not bother us, we couldnt hear it. access to the beach was wonderful. all in all it was a great trip and the condo was awesome. i will definitely be returning there.

This condo was exactly as pictured and described. It was very clean and comfortable. The master bedroom bed was fabulous. The view from the condo was wonderful overlooking the beach & ocean. The property managers answered our questions and were very helpful with the a/c. I would recommend this condo to anyone interested in going to Imperial Beach. It was very quiet and close to grocery stores and pharmacy and great access from the freeway. It has a separate shower that was easy for my physically challenged husband to enter. A hotel is being built two blocks south of the condo and the noise started at 7 am and continued for most of the day. A great alarm clock! We didn't let it ruin our stay.

What a WONDERFUL break we had in IB here at this rental! We've been pleasantly surprised with each of the rentals we've done from VRBO, and this one is definitely at the top of our list...we WILL be back! Imagine a family of six, four of which are teenagers, staying for three nights and four days in ONE place...wait, no, picture a HAPPY scene, as that's what it was staying in this very roomy accommodation! Free Wi-Fi, INCREDIBLE views of the beach and pier, and walking distance to some VERY YUMMY restaurants (try the Thai place across the way and the little Greek place downstairs...oh, and be sure to drop by the coffee house next door, too!), and a short drive to the estuary. I always look at the reviews of places, so let me make sure I've got this down straight for those of you who do the same...this place was very well maintained, as were the grounds. Strict rules are in place, so there isn't any riff raff (at least not while we were there), and it was a very family friendly location. We loved having secured parking, as we know how crazy parking can get in IB, not to mention the fact of safety. We were bummed that we'd run out of room to bring our chairs, but were pleasantly surprised with the stash of beach chairs we found in the closet. There was even a surfboard at our disposal, but we weren't brave enough to give it a go...maybe next time! The photos represent this beautiful condo quite well. It is beautifully decorated...including the lovely artwork, which we found out was done by the owner's wife! Having a wonderful view, a place to sit outside for morning coffee/evening wine, just added to our enjoyment. We look forward to coming back again, even in the winter time, as the ocean is definitely our meditation spot!
