This spot is incredible, you can see the ocean from the bed! It's simple but they have everything you need.

Nothing fancy here just a comfortable low budget place to sleep while visiting the Oregon Coast.

The room was as expected and allows dogs which is good. Unfortunately, during our scheduled stay, we had no heat in the room. We experienced a merry-go-round with the customer service reps and made the decision to cut our trip short. The Oregon Coast in March can be damp at times.
By the time word got to the people at the local level, we were headed home.

The view of the beach. The Drift Inn next door had great food and tons of charm. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, and beach.

We Loved having a nice clean quiet room! It was easy to access, clean rooms and LOVED the deck to sit on in the evenings and mornings! We would totally stay again!

I've been to Yachats multiple times and stayed here twice. The views and location are great, and accommodations, while modest, are sufficient. I'm only giving 4 stars because the coffee maker was broken (huge bummer), there was dust/dirt/dog hair build up around floor/slider tract and fridge was noisy. This may be a little harsh, but I noticed all the potted plants were fried, totally brown long dead. I really encourage management to care a bit more for the flora because it would have been a much better vibe to have some color and greenery on the deck than brown, dead plants... :(

I've already posted this review. Not sure why I'm being asked to do it again. Gross. This unit was not cleaned. Dust everywhere caked (a/c wall heat unit and bathroom vent), floors have LONG needed sanding and re-varnishing, get rid of chewed rugs, stained seat covers, get a REAL coffee table. Move the bed lamps down so you don't have to get out of bed to turn on or off. Repaint walls and fix chipped corners w/ plaster, clean the damn TV REMOTES and replace the tv wand which the mute button doesn't work. The couch smells like DOGS. The bed is TOOO soft and mushy and buy new clean bed linens incl duvet cover and a NICE blanket not cheap synthetic brown color. Buy some NICE art for the walls. Move the tv to the other side of the room (move the couch to the opposite side of the room) so you can watch the tv from bed and the screen closer to the bed. Kerig coffee maker is DIRTY and unsanitary. Please provide OLD makers that are not hard to clean.

The room was cozy, comfortable, and a great price point given the location. Close to everything in town (shops, galleries, restaurants) and right across from the bay. We come to the OR coast a couple times a year and we will definitely stay here again. Met some nice doggo neighbors too!

It was cozy and had a great view of the ocean cove! What I didn't like was no instructions for operating the heat and when I called no one called me back until the day before I was leaving. I did figure out the heat but it took 2 hours of being freezing cold.

The location and view were perfect. The room, however, had many small problems. 1. The TV remote had been stolen, so no TV the first night. After many tries we got a manager 20 miles away to bring a new remote the next day. 2. There was no bathmat for the shower and tub. 3. The heater in the bath was broken. 4. There were two broken supports and a broken handrail on the deck. 5. No saucers among the dishware, though there were utensils, glasses, and cups. By coincidence we met the person cleaning up the units, and he found us a bathmat. He suggested we buy some saucers at a local store. In sum, this space has potential to be an outstanding vacation stay, but poor management made it very trying.

Very nice little property with a great view of the bay and close to everything. Quaint little rooms, but everything was clean and tidy. I would recommend having a landscaping crew come and trim the overgrowth on the bushes so the stair lights illuminate on the steps a little better. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and quiet

I loved staying at the Ocean Cove Inn. It was the perfect spot for the weekend. The view was absolutely amazing of the ocean and beach and the central location made it a easy and quick walk to anywhere in town. Would definitely book again!

Beautiful Ocean View
Good directions. Friendly and helpful staff. The days we were there the ocean was gorgeous in the shining sun! So having a great idea of the ocean was awesome! There were a few things that were mixed up, like the remotes and a few unfinished areas. But everything was clean and we had what was needed. Thank you

Great view. Quiet. Convenient location. Very good bed. Check-in instructions were incomplete about how to get into the lock box. Had to call. Box jammed at end of stay and we couldn't get it back on. Still a great place.

Good, inexpensive property that was clean. My only gripe is that the owners and/or property managers still have that horrible paper blind that is too short and very difficult to fold back up. For less that 100 at Lowes, they would install a new mini blind and get better reviews.

Avoid Vacasa rentals!
Hope we never again have to deal with Vacasa - this is our 2nd bad experience with them, in a row. There was a funky paper covering over the glass front door that (we were told) has been there for months, in place of properly functioning blinds like over the other front windows. The linings in the dresser drawers were dirty. Only 3 lamps were available in the main living area; one didn't even work till we switched plugs. The improperly maintained smoke detector woke us up 2 mornings in a row at 5 am with loud chirps. We called the Vacasa number and some lady in Florida told us she'd relay the info to someone who could help - but we never heard back and we only got a handyman to come by after cornering one of the ladies cleaning a neighboring unit; she contacted him for us. Vacasa is apparently unwilling to provide the kind of place their glowing ads lead you to believe you're getting; once they get our money, that's it..

We loved the location and the view. The outdoor patio area was also lovely. Yachats is great and the property made it easy to walk anywhere for food, drink, essentials and the ocean

Unfortunate repairs needed marred an otherwise lovely weekend
I really WANT to give this place a higher rating - I thought the staff were nice and the room was clean and inviting. Centrally located in Yachats super close to a lot of dining options and the market as well as many fine hikes.
However - I stayed in a room that had a broken blind covering the sliding glass door. Unlike most sliding glass doors which have blinds that open right to left - at some point someone had broken the blind and it was replaced with ... a piece of folded paper (kinda like a folded paper fan you might make in art class). It was also ripped.. so you could see directly into the room and the paper did nothing to block out the light from the walkway in front of the room or the sunlight in the morning which woke me up pretty early both days. I complained to Vacasa and they sent someone out to fix the blind but he wasn't able to find a replacement on short notice and duct-taped the rip. I kinda feel like a jerk leaving this review on an otherwise nice room but I felt really exposed and like I had no privacy my entire stay. I hope they get the issue fixed soon because it would be a great place otherwise!

Quaint
Personable. Private enough to be quiet, few cabins so neighbors cozily friendly, great views, restaurants and shops. Studio cabin like quaint, bed way comfy! Will definitely be back!

OK, but place needs attention
The ocean view was beautiful, as advertised. The property was easy walking distance to several good restaurants and coffee places. The room, however, was a bit dusty and several pieces of the furniture we’re falling apart. I had 2 pound the suitcase holder back together to get it to stand up. One of the curtains On the front door was a piece of paper accordion folded and held up with a couple of clips. The room was very inexpensive, so I guess I shouldn’t expect much. The most inconvenient part was that the bed was very uncomfortable.
Next time I’ll shell out a little bit more money for a better place in Yachets.

Hidden Budget Gem
This is a studio room for two that is a level uphill from the Hwy 101 noise with a view from every corner across Yachats River Beach—maybe some phone wires in the way, but for this price, who cares?

Nice atmosphere
We only had two issues and they did not interfere with our enjoyment of the property. The toilet had to be flushed by pulling the chain in the water closet and we couldn’t get the lockbox to close.

The view. The room was very hot when we arrived, no ac. The comforter on the bed was too heavy, there were no options for lighter bedding. There was only 3 Kcups for the coffee maker. The next place over had a malfunctioning smoke alarm that went off continuously. The quality of this rental for the price was disappointing.?” They continue to charge very high fees and need multiple improvements to make it worth the price. Location isn’t always everything!

Great getaway
We stayed in the Perpetua room which had the most beautiful view. Room was very clean but a little stuffy, though they got a maintenance guy (Who didn’t wear a mask while in our room, which made me uncomfortable so I stayed out of the room while he was there) out the next day to fix the window so we could get a nice cross breeze. Across the street are multiple great food options. Tons of beautiful scenic nature locations nearby. They seemed to be staggering bookings so that side by side rentals were only for 1 night which we appreciated to help keep us safer during the ongoing pandemic. We will be back.
