Wonderful, clean, comfortable home 1 block from the beach. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. Loved the private pool. Great location on 30A. Sandpiper rentals made everything smooth and simple. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved the convenience of the house and beach:) We enjoyed the privacy on the deck with all of the trees. It felt like we were in a treehouse. The pool was a bonus. House had everything plus beach towels, wagons, beach chairs. I do wish they would have included all of that on the website, or else we would not have hauled all of it down from GA! Otherwise wonderful.

Beautiful home right across the street from the beach. The house was very clean and kitchen was well equipped so we could cook a few meals. Quick bike ride to Seaside. We didn't really use the pool but it looked nice. Would definitely stay here again!!

Review of Sugar Magnolia
This was our second time to stay at Sugar Magnolia. The space is the perfect size for our family. The beach is basically across the street making it the perfect location. The "hub" is within walking and biking distance as well. Also, the private pool is the icing on the cake. It is the perfect way to unwind. Would definitely stay here again!

Exceeded expectations!!
This place is absolutely beautiful and so well kept. We had some trouble finding it with our GPS so I had to call the emergency number and the person who answered was extremely helpful and I was able to find it with the directions he gave me. The privacy offered by the beautiful trees was perfect, and the place was super close to the beach. We had the pool heated and it was nice and warm when we arrived.

Perfect place - beach in the front and pool in the back! Place was lovely and had all necessary amenities. Only complaint ( entirely out of the control of the renter, was the red tide... made being on the beach really hard - but that's where the wonderful pool came in handy)

Good place to stay.
Home was clean and comfortable with good beds. Loved the private pool and deck in the back. Secluded within the scrub oaks and relaxed among them in my camping hammock. The only negative was the 30A traffic noise, but only heard it when on the upstairs front deck.

A Treasure on 30A
We booked this property over a year ago and it was PERFECT for our family. We had my parents in one bedroom, me and my husband in one and our two kids (6 and 3) in the bunks in the other room. The bedroom downstairs is connected to the bunk room thru a jack and Jill bath which worked out great for our family. The door to the pool was thru our bedroom, which we thought was weird at first, but it turned out to make everything super easy! The kids wanted to swim as soon as they woke up each day and this made the pool and the many changes of clothes very easy without distributing our parents upstairs. It was a great location on 30A directly across from the beach and just a mile from Seaside. Our kids are not old enough to spend the whole day on the beach, so the quick golf cart drive across to the public beach was great for us. A golf cart rental is also a must. The kitchen was fully stocked with nice items and even kids plates and bowls, which was great. Both bathrooms also had multiple soft nice bath towels which was wonderful. This house was wonderful and we will stay there again for sure!

Great location super cute cottage
We had a great time at this house. Such a cute setting in the trees and super close to the beach. Was an easy 3 min walk even with little kids in tow. It was a little chilly during our trip but the heated pool was amazingly warm for us to use. If I had any suggestion at all it would just be that the blinds on the ground floor could offer more privacy as you can sort of see through them. We would rent this house again without question. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were all super comfortable.

Perfect Family Getaway
We absolutely loved this property! It was perfect for our trip. We have two small kids and traveled with my parents as well and it was spacious enough for everyone. We loved the location (perfect beach access) and the private pool. Only complaints are the blinds in the rooms are totally see-through so we couldn’t change in our rooms and it woke our kids early (recommend some light blocking curtains); and the stairs are treacherous for littles so we had to put the bench from the primary bedroom in front of them to block our kids in. Recommend some gates to make it more family friendly! Not a complaint per se but I wish both bedrooms had king sized beds! :) We rented through Vacayzen a golf cart and bikes with a carrier. Everything was dropped off and picked up from the house so check in and check out was a breeze. We also paid extra to have the pool heated and it was so lovely! We will definitely be back and have already had friends ask us for this link! Thank you for a perfect trip!

I loved this place. Great location close to the beach entry. Easy to get to on the street. Great pool size in the back. Enjoyed the shade in the evening and the sounds of nature at night. Lovely place with open floor plans. My girls loved the bunk beds and the nature around the place. We rode the bikes provided daily to see the town.

The property was clean and as advertised. Everything worked properly with the exception of the internet access. Someone had disconnected a cable coming into the router and it took us a while to find the problem. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Great property and location
I came here with just my husband and my parents. We loved the space. It’s in a super great location to the beach... very walkable! We would come back to the property for lunch mid beach day. We really liked the seclusion and shade of the trees. The kitchen/living area was nice and open. We had all the kitchen supplies we needed. The pool was great! We were told there was no grill or coffee maker on site but the property has both! (Electric grill) We would definitely recommend this property and would definitely come back again.

Excellent stay!
My family and I rented the house for Thanksgiving - ages ranging from 30-68, 7 of us in total. There was plenty of space to hold all of us - front porch, back porch, kitchen/hangout area. We never felt too crowded. The house was spotless when we arrived. New upgrades made everything feel new!
The kitchen is extremely well stocked with pans, dishes, cooking utensils. We had most everything for cooking a Thanksgiving meal. We used the gas grill the other nights.
There’s a pool - that you can heat, which we did. It was still a little chilly for our taste (weather was in the low 70s). But it is nice and clean.
The location is great. It’s tucked away on the main road, so you may drive past it the first time, but it’s fantastic because you feel hidden away! Literally a 3-5 minute walk to the beach, it is right across the street from public access. 20+ minute walk into Seaside, but quicker on bikes. The rental comes with two bikes which is a plus.
The rental company - Sandpiper - went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I asked about kitchen utensils and they took the time to run by the house, and photograph everything! Who does that! They answer emails very quickly, and are kind.
Would recommend this place to anyone - we already have! :-) Family is already talking about when we are coming back!

Great location, great house!
We loved our stay at this house. The location couldn't be beat. It was just steps away from the beach and walkable to a few restaurants. The house itself was beautiful and very comfortable. We loved the pool, my kids basically lived in it while we were there. It was the perfect temperature and very well maintained. The only negative that we had the whole time was that the internet wasn't working when we arrived and it took a couple of days to get sorted as the management company didn't send someone out until our third day there and the property owners never responded to our reaching out. However, everything else was wonderful and we'd definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking in the area.

This property came recommended by a friend and it was truly amazing! The photos were accurate! The house was spotless, comfortable, and was stocked with everything we needed to have a wonderful week. The beach access is across the street, which was awesome. The pool in the backyard was an added bonus! We will definitely stay here again.

Management responded really quickly whenever we reported water stains on the bathroom wall. However, the house was still not ready at 4:30 when we arrived to check-in, it was still being cleaned, and it was really disappointing that the house is not "oceanview" as labeled in the property description. The pictures of the property appear to be several years old.

This, house/ property was honestly beyond expectation! 5 adults, 2 kids stayed and it was not crowded at all! We loved how the house felt secluded. Private pool, outside shower, hammock, ocean access (the wagon was a life savor)-everything was amazing! Highly, highly recommend Sugar Magnolia, we hope to make this a yearly trip!

This place is perfect and SUCH a steal! Amazing location, amazing house, I have no complaints. Sandpiper is incredibly accommodating. Upon my arrival, the house was spotless and a greeter checked in on us within the hour to make sure everything was OK and to remind me that if I needed anything to call them. Friday morning we got a surprise delivery of fresh donuts from a local vendor and on Saturday morning when the power went out due to mass amounts of rain the previous night the Maintenance man, Ken, was on top of everything and power was restored in an hour. The family who owns this property has made it so comfortable and it is exquisitely decorated, simple and beautiful. The house has a TV/cable box in every bedroom and the main TV in the living room has a blu-ray player with Netflix, Hulu and Amazon capabilities! The master bedroom has a tempurpedic mattress that I thoroughly enjoyed. There is plenty of parking, the pool is the perfect size, the beach is just across the street and Seaside is a short bike/car ride away! I would recommend this property to everyone; families, friend groups, couples, etc.

Excellent Seagrove Property
We really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Magnolia! The property is a unique "one of a kind" in the area. Tons of charm, super clean, and a great pool outback. Excellent place for families and ideal for people traveling with extended family (parent, in-laws, etc) as the adjacent guest cottage Sugaree provides separation for those needing divided space. I personally like the Seagrove location (vs. Seaside and/or Watercolor) as you are close enough to be near the action, but far enough away for things to feel a bit more laid back. Definitely recommend this rental.

Wonderful property and location!
My husband and I stayed at Sugar Magnolia and guest cottage Sugaree with friends for the Seaside Wine Festival. It is right on 30A directly across from beach access, but feels secluded with a fenced and treed front entrance. The heated pool was great during the chilly November temperatures. The house and cottage are updated and nicely decorated with a beachy feel. The property is close enough to bike into Seaside and walk to nearby restaurants. We will definately be back with the family!

Fantastic Property
We stayed out at Sugar Magnolia and its guest cottage Sugaree for 1 week, and absolutely loved the property.
From the hammock in the front yard, to the heated pool in the backyard.....we really could not have been any happier. We really loved the privacy of the pool area and the front yard, as it surround by a lovely patch of small coastal oak trees. The beach was really close, and we could ride our bikes down to Seaside in about 5 minutes.

Deceiving
We first couldn't find the house....the trees were hiding it. I was expecting to look for what the photo showed. There was no ocean view from anywhere in the house! And the location of the home was deceiving....thinking the house was across the street from the beach. It wasn't that it was far from the beach but the description gave a different impression of the location. There are new houses being built and the trees were so overgrown which hindered, the so-called ocean view! Very disappointed with the Rental Agency and the description of this home! With that being said....the pool was delightful! Thank goodness!

We loved this house! The location across the street from beach access couldn't have been better. The pool of course was perfect for our one year old who couldn't stay at beach too long and we could swim while she napped. One of the few houses we noticed with shade.

Excellent house, great location
We stayed at Sugar Magnolia for 4 nights over Labor Day weekend 2013. I can't say enough good things about the house - very clean, very convenient to the beach, and very convenient to the grocery store, restaurants, etc. Both decks (front and back) are extremely private, and the pool gets sun throughout the day. The property management company was highly responsive anytime I had a question, and the check in/out process was a breeze. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.
....and obviously the owners have great taste in music ;)

Perfect
We were looking for a grown up, private and peaceful place to stay in Seagrove. This is it! A few of the highlights were the bikes, the pool and privacy of Three Mermaids. The welcome basket was a very nice touch as well. We were there over the 4th of July and a parade went by right in front of the property. There was a book of menus and things to do in the cottage. I loved the 30 things to do on 30A. Even though we came over one of the busiest weeks of the summer, we were able to get reservations and walk-in to restaurants. It is a special community and we can't wait to go back.
