The cabin is in a great location. It’s right on a pond with a nice dock. It has a nice roomy kitchen, comfy bedrooms and a nice living room in which to relax. Outdoor space is very nice with direct access to the pond. Hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with.

We loved everything about our getaway to Molasses Pond. The cottage was wonderfully comfortable. If you are looking for peace and quiet, which we were, this is the place. The deck and dock were fabulous. The host was very responsive to the questions we had. All in all an A+ adventure.

The property was exactly as it was described in VRBO. The host was very pro active - answered all questions promptly. The view was fantastic- wish we could have spent more time there! Overall a great experience!

Pictures looked better than house, it was clean. Needs washer/dryer, dish washer. It was a little cool in the bed rooms had to keep the doors open for heat. Probably a better place to stay in the summer.

We enjoyed the quiet location and being able to swim in the pond (early September). Sunrise from the deck was beautiful and it was nice hearing the coyotes at night. Acadia was about an hour drive, so we could easily spend some of our days in the National Park and get back before it got too late. Overall, the house was comfortable and convenient.

The property being right on the water with the nice wrap around deck was wonderful! We had a lot of exploring to do so we’re only there later in the evenings to morning but it was a wonderful stay!

Decent sized dog friendly property with many outdoor spaces and spacious living quarters. Comfortable deck with attached dock. Super quiet area in the fall.

Really a great place to rent if you like privacy and quietness and obviously the water. Sweet dock right off the porch! Lots of out door space as well. Nice fire pit and wood their for you to burn. Thank you so much for letting us stay! Special bonus is it is dog friendly.

The house was clean and comfortable and as described. Loved the bedroom facing the water. We greatly enjoyed our time here and will come back!

Our entire stay, and everything about it, was phenomenal. The communication with the host was almost immediate every time, and check in (and out) was super simple. The property is even better than the photos, and it was so comfortable. We stayed the end of October and heat was never a problem as there are also electric heaters you can put near the beds if need be (my brother slept on the enclosed porch area and was more than warm enough). There is a little public beach about a tenth a mile around the corner that was wonderful, and atv trails that we walked on right across the street from that. It is secluded, but an easy drive to Ellsworth if need be, and an easy drive to Acadia/Bar Harbor and the Schoodic Peninsula (which you have to go to!). One large bathroom on the bottom floor, and two beds in the loft upstairs, but we didn't even go up there; but no steps that you /need/ to go up. We also had our dog and it was perfect.

A beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place by the lake. The photos do not do the surroundings justice. We loved the sunset every morning. We used the fire pit one night and appreciated the provided wood pile.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a chance to meet Carolyn and she was wonderful. The cottage was perfect. We would love to return next year a bit earlier when we could actually swim in the pond.

We all really enjoyed our time here. It was clean and very comfortable for our group of four and a small dog. The owner was very responsive and friendly. We have no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful pond and camp with air conditioning and other amenities that make this rental s little piece of heaven.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cottage home. We stayed from July 19 - July 24. This vacation home was clean and comfy! The owners were very helpful! It's a great place to read, go hiking, go bike riding and do water activities. It was our first time in Maine, but it will definitely not be our last!

We had the absolute best time! We traveled from WV for our honeymoon and I couldn’t have picked a better spot! We spent 2 days not even leaving the house! Binging Netflix and cooking our own meals, swimming and fishing at the pond! Owners even let us use their kayaks. Highly recommend :)

This rural hideaway was a nice, quiet place to stay. The sunrises were beautiful! It was a reasonable drive to Acadia National Park and allowed us to bring our pup with us. We had a couple issues with the stove and toaster, but Carolyn was there the very next day to fix everything. It's not whether you have mishaps, it's how they are handled. We would definitely stay here again. It was our first trip to the beautiful state of Maine! From Pennsylvania 💙

The cabin is very far from anything but the relaxation potential makes up for it. The deck overlooks molasses pond and has beautiful scenery.

We had a wonderful stay at this rustic camp. The description is true to its locale, with plenty of outdoor seating and a beautiful view. We drove to Acadia and Schoodic Peninsula and enjoyed several other hikes, and loved coming back to this secluded spot.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time. The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We visited Acadia each day we stayed. Even though it's 52 minutes from most areas of the park the drive didn't feel long at all. The area was very quiet and peaceful perfect for relaxing after long days of hiking. The pond right off the deck was the perfect way to enjoy the sunrise. The only thing I wish we did was sign the guest book!

This place was just as described and clean enough. Great for going into Acadia.. long drive but much more affordable and private than anywhere closer. My only complaint was that they came to remove the dock for the winter during our stay. I understand that it was early October and the dock must come out, but that definitely should've been disclosed to us in advance.
