Loved the outdoor space and the location. Spent most of our time in the front yard. Very quirky and "cabin-y" which we like. Only complaint would be that the water heater in the master bathroom is fickle. Plenty of hot water but it goes in and out a lot so it freezes you and then scolds you if you adjust it. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

This is a great spot to get out of the desert heat. The house is unique and comfortable and the property feels private even in the outdoor space. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

This cozy cabin was just what we needed for a short get-a-way from the Phoenix heat. Great location, close to many outdoor activities and very quiet. It was lovely to hear the wind in the pines and birds.

Great place, clean, quiet, great yard for relaxing in the trees. Close to many great hiking trails and also off road vehicle trails. Quiet neighborhood - overall great place!

I loved the privacy. Very quiet. I Relished the mornings sitting outside with my coffee. Wall heaters throughout the cabin. Fireplaces super soothing. Master bath with floor heating. What more can u ask for? I’d recommend to all! Thank you Rose Ann for everything!

The cabin is eclectic and quaint. My kids and mother-in-law all loved it too. Would definitely book again. Only draw back was hot water in the master bedroom bath and cookware. The hot water in the master, I think, comes from an inline heater. We tried once to figure it out but instead just opted for the main shower. The dishware was great and plenty of it but the cookware wasn't the best. Made french toast with the griddle and 10" skillet, they could have been flatter. Challenging to get even cooking. A big plus though was the gas grill outside. According to my wife the best steaks I've ever made All in all a great place to get away. P.S. the only sounds I heard were the birds and wind, extra bonus ;)

Just right for us. Very rustic but comfortable

Charming and Rustic are the perfect words for this little cottage. My family of 7 plus a dog just came back from a stay where we enjoyed the coziness of the house and Mother Nature gave us a hefty dose of snow! The Rustic Rose provided my family the perfect, comfortable and cozy place to land after a long day of sledding and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thanks again to Rose Ann who checked in and made sure we had enough fire wood for the frigid nights we appreciated that :)

We loved our time at the Rustic Rose. Very relaxing and rustic cabin very close to hiking/biking trails and a short drive up to Flag or down to Sedona. We would definitely go back! One complaint was that there was no hand soap or extra trash bags anywhere in the house... For the high rental cost it would have been nice to have these basic supplies instead of having to go buy some at the gas station.... Not something I usually think to pack from home. Other than that it was fantastic!

Health problems made it impossible for me to get to the cabin. My daughters took two long week-ends and my remarks are their comments. The cabin is on a beautiful lot. The lot is very large and shady. The cabin is clean and well furnished. The temperature was cool but I could imagine a hot time when an air conditioner would be needed. In general, we enjoyed our week-ends. A speedy return of the $250 cleaning deposit would be appreciated.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Rustic Rose. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was nice, and the living room was spacious and cozy. The Rustic Rose is a quaint and cozy place set in the quiet area of Munds Park, about 20 minutes from downtown Flagstaff. The perfect getaway. Although we enjoyed our time there, there were a few problems. First, the wifi does not work. We tried multiple times, and we could not get it to register or work for us. The water pressure in the showers is not great. Plus the temperature of the water changes from hot to cold ever minute or so. There were a few other minor problems, but overall we loved staying here. Cozy and interesting, there are a ton of little nooks and crannies to find, and the Rustic Rose is a wonderful location for a vacation getaway.

We loved our time up at your cabin. You can tell how much love has gone into making this cabin feel like home. The weather was perfect for enjoying lots of our time outside, too. I loved that the cabin had everything we needed, as well. Thank you!

We were already in Sedona, AZ when we rented this property not even 20 hours before checking in (my 1st time using VBRO). After multiple, unsuccessful attempts at the door code provided I attempted to email Rosanne (the owner), but the Wi-Fi provided also did not work. I did not get cell phone service on the property, so we had to drive back to main road to call. Rosanne was unapologetic , just said "Oh, the code was changed" and provided the new code. When we finally were able to enter the home, we were highly disappointed. The first shock was the smell from a wood stove, not properly vented/functioning. We have a wood stove in our home and it does not make the house smell. A well-functioning wood stove with proper exhaust does not allow wood smell to escape back into the house.The French door to porch was unlocked and OPEN. I did not feel safe staying here, not knowing if it was broken into or just left open and unsecured. When leaving the property we saw a note from prior renters stating issue with door code and no access to Wi-Fi. We stayed at the property a total of 10 minutes and I called Rosanne to inform her about the unlocked door, smell, and Wi-Fi, she did not care. I told her we would not be staying because we did not feel safe, the smell (my daughter has asthma) and the issue with Wi-Fi. I asked about a refund even though I knew there was a no refund policy if cancelling within 30 days. Rosanne said "they won't allow it". I understand policies are policies, but we rented not even 24 hours prior and I feel she could have been a little more customer service oriented. Rosanne did not seem to care about any of my concerns and was not friendly at all. She did not comment about the open door or smell. She said she could have the internet service company call me to figure out the Wi-Fi. She did not know about the previous renters note left on the kitchen counter nor seem to care they had some of the same concerns. She didn't even know what property I was renting because she has others listed on VBRO. I would not recommend this property or any others Rosanne has listed. Her lack of concern was the most disappointing. Not one single apology for the inaccurate information she provided or the inconvenience we went through to obtain the correct information to get into her inaccurately, described cabin.
