Diese Hütte ist nach Opa Bill Merritt benannt, der nicht nur ein guter Handwerker war, sondern auch ein örtlicher Minister, der buchstäblich Hunderte von Paaren in genau diesen Hütten geheiratet hat.
Wenn Sie durch die Tür dieser Kabine treten, werden Sie mit Sicherheit in die Vergangenheit zurückversetzt. Zuallererst wurde die Tür, die Sie öffnen, von niemand anderem als Opa Bill handgefertigt. Und so waren die cool aussehenden Küchenschränke, die Sie sehen. Noch ein kleiner Vintage-Touch: Ein echter, saisonaler Holzkamin mit dem Holz versehen!
Wir haben nicht vergessen, dass dies auch ein Urlaub für Sie ist, und haben die Kabine mit einer voll funktionsfähigen Küche, einem bequemen Sofa und Stühlen sowie einem wunderschönen Whirlpool direkt in Ihrem Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett ausgestattet. Und überraschen! Wir haben sogar einen Whirlpool und ein paar tolle Schaukelstühle auf dem privaten Deck für Sie hinzugefügt!

For the first time in four years my wife & I had an escape from adulting. We enjoyed this rustic cabin. We had great privacy & the view from the hot tub is spectacular. We had a great time & loved our stay in B’s nest. We will return!

Our power went out in storm on second night - which is no one’s fault- however we were in pitch black from 630pm with no torch or candles - agent slow to communicate and never answered out of hours phone
Reason for no torch is incase guests take them however lots other bits and bins around so think this is a safety issue
Also when hot tub didn’t come back on took 48 hours to sort

The cabin was very clean, and had a wonderful view from the front porch. This was our first time taking a trip in years, with just each other.

This was our getaway sandwiched between stays with family in Missouri and Virginia.
We arrived after dark because of car trouble but found the cabin easily and moved in and headed to bed quickly.
We awoke to crisp morning and beautiful views. We enjoyed a lazy day with tv and relazing. We will be back as this is a good stop on way to visiting family in Virginia.
Cabin is well furnished and laid out nicely. Porch views are awesome. Great couplr getaway with boyh jetted tub and hot tub.

My boyfriend and I came up for a 2 night getaway. We absolutely loved the privacy and location of this cabin. As far as location there were not many stores to get grocery’s at within 20 mins of the cabin so stock up a cooler before you get there! Very short 28 minute drive into downtown Gatlinburg which is lovely. Overall amazing experience and we look forward to coming back next year!

We stayed at the property this past weekend and it was wonderful. The views were amazing and it was very peaceful and relaxing. The cabin had a nice, rustic feel and was very clean and cozy. It looked exactly like it did in the pictures and was exactly as described. We had everything we needed. The bed and furniture were comfortable, everything worked, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The hot tub was also very relaxing. There are four other cabins in the area, but each cabin is spaced out far enough and surrounded by trees so there is plenty of privacy. We never saw or heard anyone else while we were there. We will definitely return.

Cabin was as stated in listing. Hot tub was clean and ready upon our arrival for an evening soak. Loved listening to the animals. Morning was beautiful to watch the sunrise in the hot tub.Would definitely stay again!

We have stayed here on multiple occasions. The cabin is always clean and well maintained. Unfortunately we were only able to be at the cabin for about 6 hours, due to a medical emergency.
We have discovered that LeConte Health Center has a great ER and the staff are helpful and caring.
I am sure that we will be back to the cabin next year. Hopefully our 21st anniversary will not be as eventful as our 20th has been!

We rented this cabin for our 9th wedding anniversary. We had everything we needed! The hot tub was fabulous after a long day of hiking to the waterfall!

My husband and I decided to take a weekend away for the first time in a long time. We had originally booked B’s Nest but a glitch occurred and we actually ended up in McKenzie Cabin. It was a pleasant mistake as McKenzie was more secluded on the back porch and there was no traffic of other guests nearby. While the drive up the first time was a little unnerving for me, my husband handled it just fine and it was well worth the views. The cabin itself was very clean and very well maintained. We look forward to making this a yearly trip away in the future.

The view was good (despite the telephone lines that ran across the front of the cabin), but the cabin was disappointing. I was hoping it would be charming or quaint, a nice couple's hideaway. But the interior was old and dated and the decor cheap. The toilet was stained, and we had to stand there and hold the handle until it flushed all the way. The amenities were skimpy: one towel and one washcloth per person, one bed pillow, and only enough dishes for a couple of meals. No towels for the hot tub. Also, the mattress was hard and dipped in the middle. The bed creaked. The couch was also uncomfortable. The floor dirtied my white socks. If it weren't for the hot tub and the view, the trip would have been a complete waste. I have stayed in many VRBO properties; this one was the worst.

Loved staying here. My husband and I took a quick getaway and this cabin was perfect. It was simple, the owners made sure to let us know the hot tub was cleaned before our arrival, and we had everything we needed for our stay. We did run into a snag checking in, as the provided door code didn’t work, but we’re able to get in touch with the people at the after hours number and they were able to grant us access within a few minutes.

The property was secluded, clean, came with amenities such as detergent, dishes, and some spices such as salt and pepper. The view was beautiful and looks just like the picture. The jet tub and hot tub were both very nice. My Husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. We never stayed out past dark because we werent sure about driving up that road in the dark. Disappointed we didn't see any bears or other wildlife just two squirrels. Would definitely recommend for adults, not kids. We made memories for a life time and will cherish them forever. Property manager was a joy to work with. Absolutely no issues or complaints.

I stayed here for 3 days on a solo trip. It felt very remote with a winding dirt road to reach the cabin at the top, while still being a close drive to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and best of all the GSMNP! The cabin was very clean and welcoming and all amenities worked as listed. Lots of bumblebees out front near the hot tub, but I spent most of my time reading in the jacuzzi tub at the foot of the bed after long days of hiking! The bed was so comfortable too! Great spot for a weekend away! :)

B’s Nest is a very secluded and rustic cabin. Its at least a 20 minute drive to pretty much anything. The best features are the privacy - plus hot tub and garden tub (both were very clean & well kept). The cabin could use some updating and repair. The porch with hot tub has a beautiful view of the mountains. The bed was comfy & the place was really really quiet. We enjoyed our stay!

I rented this cabin to spend a romantic time with my wife. The pictures don’t really show how neat and well furnished this cabin is. We loved our time over there. Easy access, quiet and a fantastic view of the smoky mountains. I would definitely come back.
