"Sunset" was a perfect place for our family vacation!! We spent most of our time on the beach, but the house was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset. Check-in was easy, it looks just like the photos online, it was very clean, & has a million dollar view! Our bed was very comfortable, which isn't always the case at a rental, but we slept great every night. My only minor critique would be the small kitchen. We cooked a few nights & it was a tight squeeze. However, everything else was absolutely wonderful & would definitely not keep us from going back. We had 3 adults & 2 teenagers & everyone had plenty of space to be comfortable. We plan to book again next year!

We loved the house! What made it extra special was they left a bottle of champagne and some incidentals that made our stay even more wonderful! I would recommend this place 10/10!!!

Easily the cleanest property we've ever stayed at. The location is perfect and you can't really hear the people at the unit above. Everything worked as expected and was well-maintained. We had a situation where we got locked out because a lock lost it's ability to take the code, and the owner was immediately responsive via text and drove three hours that very day to install a new one. Would definitely recommend.

This was our second visit to this property. We love the location and the house is clean and stocked for a perfect vacation. The owner is responsive and great to work with from booking to departure. We are hoping to visit again very soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house! It was clean and the owner is very nice. It was so nice to have views of the ocean from the house and to walk out onto beach anytime. We would definitely rent this again!

Great ocean front property at Holden Beach, very clean and stocked with everything you need. Was close to everything and just overall a great experience for our family. Communication with host was excellent prior to our arrival which was an A+ experience for us. Will definitely be looking forward to staying here again.

We really enjoyed our vacation staying right on the beach. The beach was clean and the water was warm. We had a nice view from the deck and the house was nice. The house was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans and the welcome package added a special touch. I would definitely recommend staying here the only problem was that a week wasn't long enough. We only had a couple of questions and the owners responded back in a timely manner.

This unit was exactly as described.It is not fancy but It was Clean and practical. the beds were very comfy. The air conditioning works great. There are plenty of dishes and kitchen equipment. the 4 bedrooms in each unit are large enough for comfort. The tvs worked great. It is only a few steps from the ocean! Great for kids! great for a group if you rent both units like we did. Complete separation unless you want to get together!!! I loved it and would reccomend it whole heartedly.

Family vacay 2022
First time using vbro. Owner was fabulous to work with and very responsive. House was very close to the beach and well stocked. Bring your food for cooking and you’re set! We are in for breakfast and lunches and went out for dinners. Perfect get away. Highly recommend.

Great beach house and location.
We so enjoyed our week at the beach. The house was clean and beach access was easy. I started each morning sitting on our shaded porch with my steaming cup of coffee, a beautiful view of the ocean, and watching the birds dive bomb for fish. Everyone was able to go back and forth from the house to the beach with no worries. The house was the typical older beach house, which is just what I wanted. I sure didn’t want to spend my family vacation worrying myself sick about the kids tracking in a little sand. My only complaint, which is all my fault, was this was an upstairs/downstairs rental. I really didn’t think this was a deal breaker, but the folks over us had a couple of young boys. Early in the morning and later at night the running and jumping from overhead was a little irritating. Children are children, and it was there vacation too. Next year I hope to find a house like this one, but for a single family. Overall this was a wonderful vacation.

Very comfortable property. Well stocked snd great layout. Had both units with 18 people and had plenty of room. It would have been nice to have a garbage disposal on the sink. With teens cleaning up after meals the dink was a mess. We did have a visit in the yard from 2 rather large snakes and several rats.
But overall was a great week.

With teens cleaning up after meals the dink was a mess. We did have a visit in the yard from 2 rather large snakes and several rats.

Ocean, new King beds!
This is our 3rd stay here and we have booked 2 more for 2022. Can't get any closer to the ocean. Kitchen has everything you need. Covered porches are great! Short drive to intercoastal where we caught a flounder off the public dock!

It is an older house, but it was clean and everything was in working order. I especially appreciated the kitchen pots and pans and utensils. We cooked every night and never wanted for a thing. The wind off of the ocean was strong on most days, and cut our beach time. But the front deck was protected from the wind so that is where we had our evening happy hour and snacks before dinner. We decided to try to make this an annual trip and plan to return to this beach house!! Thank you Robert!

Great Choice for Your Holden Beach Vacation
The duplex was as pictured. The house was clean and well appointed. Robert was a delight to work with, quick to respond and informative. He has updated the two queen bedrooms to King mattresses! Such a wonderful surprise and upgrade. The house could not be in a better location with Easy access to the beach and such a beautiful view of the ocean! The kitchen isn’t spacious, but well stocked and open to the living area, making it seem larger and definitely workable for 10 guests.
We enjoyed the nice charcoal grill. There is a big gathering space below the house , next to the grill. A well stocked beach toy closet is available to renters. Thanks for a great time. We are planning our next trip.

The stay in general was very good. The house could use a few minor cleaning updates. It needs new shower curtains ( moldy), carpet shampooed, and we found a dead cockroach in the floor when we arrived.

This was a wonderful place to stay for our family vacation. Quiet beach and we loved sitting on the back deck in the rocking chairs just looking at the ocean. It was wonderful to crack the windows at night and listen to the waves crash on the shore. We are looking at going back really soon.
