A very nice property. Everything was jut as it should have been. Nice appliances, comfy beds and excellent overall experience!

This was our first time to SSI and we didn’t know what to expect. The island was SO beautiful and full of rich history. The home was perfect for our family! So many thoughtful details for a family stay. We stayed with our 7 young children and it was amazing. The kids LOVED all the books and board games. I really appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was. Lots of serving bowls, Tupperware, baking dishes, and even a high chair. It really felt like visiting a family home and not just a generic vacation rental. Access to the garage for loading and unloading was helpful. We were so grateful for the extra beach chairs, sand pails, etc. Our only critique was that the grill needed to be cleaned and was pretty rusted so we just didn’t use it. But, that was a very minor issue! Thanks for the amazing stay!!!

The check-in and exit procedures were simple. The location was clean and a short drive to the beach. We also rented a golf cart which made for easy access.

We had five adults staying at the Sandcastle house while we moved our youngest daughter into her college dorm. There was plenty of room for everyone and the location was very convenient to everything on the island. I would definitely stay at this house again if we return to St. Simons Island.

Had an awesome vacation with the family. The house was very nice and clean and great location for beach resturants and stores to get any needs. We would deffinantly recommend this place to anyone

The house was in a great central location, very close to the beach, lighthouse, and downtown. House was perfect for our family especially the kids room. Lots of puzzles, books, board games, and movies, which was a lovely surprise. Very clean and comfortable. The BEST part of our stay was the property manager! They were super responsive to any questions we had. Also, my grandmother had accidentally left some sentimental jewelry behind and the property owner was beyond helpful in getting it back to her which meant so much!!!

Very nice and well maintained home. We had plenty of room for 7 people and it was an easy drive to beach access. Would definitely book again.

Everything was great! Property in a quiet neighborhood, highly accessible and family-friendly, perfect one-level home with no steps which was super important for our elderly grandparents. Big appreciation for the cleanliness, large washer/dryer and stocked kitchen. Our multi-generational group enjoyed the available amenities/extras such as the charcoal grill, puzzles/board-games, good internet signal and two TVs with streaming service. We highly recommend this place!

This house was incredibly comfortable for my family. It’s centrally located on the island and just a few minutes drive to multiple beaches as well as restaurants. The house came complete with games for both adults and blankets and chairs for the beach. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back!

This place is FANTASTIC! By far the cleanest place we've stayed at in St Simons island. The setup & layout of the house is family friendly. Not huge but was plenty of room for our crew to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked; plenty of games & puzzles as well. The tv had Netflix & YouTube tv. The internet was very good, & the bathrooms had a good amount of towels. The furniture as been updated since these pictures & looks very nice, as well as a new dining table which fits the space perfectly. The house is beautifully decorated in St Simons island/beach theme. Simple, tasteful, & calming. Everything worked great except the master bathroom toilet. On arrival it wasn't flushing, we plunged it several times to no avail, finally on the fourth & final time we got the clog to clear! *Frustrating* Please note this was most likely a problem left by the previous renters & we did not contact the owners as we got the problem resolved. It worked properly the entire 8 days we stayed there. The outdoor space is small, & uncovered but quiet. (A charcoal grill) The laundry room is huge & so are the washer & dryer! You can tell they love this home & care about it. The neighborhood was very quiet & seemed to be mostly permanent residents. It's location was great for us. Right between East beach/coast guard station & downtown Mallery street. We rented bikes & found the "cut through" great! I would highly recommend this place! A+

This home was just perfect! In person the home is even more beautiful than in the photos. The home is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bedding was nice to sleep on. The home exceeded our expectations. My parents went along and they don't do stairs well so it was easily for them to navigate.

This is a well-appointed, charming, quiet, clean property. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and would not hesitate to return. We also found our host and his wife to be friendly, and interested in making our stay be a good one.

My sister and I spent a month in this easy, comfortable house. The owners were very accommodating, the kitchen was well stocked and so thin no time, we felt as if this little jewel was ours! Perfect location with easy access to everything.

The property was clean and perfect for us. We had an elderly woman with us and the house was one level and zero steps so it was accessible to her. The airport did not bother us at all with noise. Great home to stay in!

Everything from the time we arrived until the time we had to leave was super nice. We felt like we were right at home there. The rooms were plentiful and well furnished. We like the location of the house also - easy access to the bike path, the beaches, Jekyll Island, along with shopping and dining. BTW, we really enjoyed Southern Soul BBQ - we recommend a trip there also :-) This was our 2nd vacation to Saint Simon's Island and we would certainly try to arrange staying in this house again. Our family of 8 stayed in this home for 3 nights recently. We were surprised at how nice the furnishings were. It was a very comfortable home to stay in. Everything was clean and had everything we needed except for an iron and ironing board. I think the best thing was the very comfortable bed in the master, had a great nights sleep. The home was on a very quiet street just minutes away from the beach, shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this home and we may look to stay here again in the future.

This 3 bedroom was a perfect getaway family vacation! Just as described, the house is clean, comfortable, and very convenient! Although a short mile to the beach and the village, this is a fabulous location in a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for families and kids (even our 6 month old!) The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you need, and the hosts were very gracious to us making sure our needs were taken care of from beginning to end. This is a hidden gem on the island, and we will hopefully be back very soon in hopes to find Waldo! Our 6 month old is still looking!!

This is such a beautiful home with plenty of room for our family of 4. It's in a cute family friendly neighborhood and very close to the beach, the pier, and Redfern Village. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The kids really enjoyed the fun family board and card games. This home has everything and was even more beautiful in person. The beach is close enough for a quick bike ride. There's also plenty of areas with public beach access for the days that we wanted to drive and take coolers and beach chairs. We can't wait to go back!

We stayed in this property over Labor Day weekend 2017 and were blown away by the qualityof the home! The neighborhood is cute and quiet, a real family-friendly neighborhood. There were bicycles to use, beach gear to borrow, and a great deck for grilling and relaxing. We travelled with another family and had 4 adults and 4 teenagers in the home for 3 nights. The home was so comfortable for all of us! A well-stocked kitchen gave us the opportunity to do some cooking so we didn't have to eat out for every meal, a full laundry room allowed us to wash our beach towels and swimsuits, and two full bathrooms! Everything was nice, new, and PRISTINE with updated decor! Saint Simon's Island is our new favorite beach, and this is now our #1 go-to for vacation rental. Thanks for a great trip!

This is a lovely house in a very quiet neighborhood. It is mere minutes from the beach, the Village or any of the many wonderful restaurants on the Island. It has been beautifully and very tastefully redone! I found it very well equipped with anything you could possibly need during your stay. We had several people with my husband and I,my Mom and our daughter and Granddaughters, but the house was still very quiet, if you were tired and went to bed early you couldn't even tell that there were other people in the house. The owners are kind enough to offer the use of their beach chairs which is both very considerate and helps with packing. There is also a Weber charcoal grill available for your use while there and it grills up a MEAN steak. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat! By the second day my Granddaughter called it home. It is definitely my new home away from home! Until next time...

Close to the beach and the village. Enjoyed walking to the village and exploring the neighborhoods in- between. There are some great places to eat in the village and others a short distance away. House was bigger than expected, nicely furnished and well maintained. The paintings and pictures are a very nice touch. Everything we needed was available so all we had to add was food. We walked at least twice a day on the beach and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the island. We will definitely recommend this home to our friends and family.

Great location.....close to the beach and downtown tourist area. House was in a nice neighborhood and we enjoyed walking every evening. Appreciated how well stocked everything was; we had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms, including hangers in the closets and attention to detail with minor things you're used to having at your own home. We enjoyed the outdoor grill several times during our stay. Will definitely plan to stay here for our next stay at SSI. Thank you!
