The property was perfect for us. We loved that it was so accommodating to our dog Gizmo. He was very comfortable there as were we. When the adult children came there was plenty of sleeping space on the comfy couches. They are more like a day bed. The house was very close to town and we enjoyed the back yard and riding the townie bikes into town for ice cream.

We stayed here for three nights and the little home was perfect. The host has put a lot of effort into making sure the place is stocked with any necessities and it’s such a convenient location downtown but far enough to be a quiet respite. I would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely 2 nights in Salida. The house was adorable and the outside area was awesome. I have one suggestion- put lights along the walkway to the hot tub.

This property was awesome for two grandpas and two 17-year-old grandsons. The quality of the property is surpassed only by the gracious owner. They were so helpful in the process. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The house and its amenities allowed all of us to enjoy a hassle-free, wonderful few days of skiing and Salida. WE WILL BE BACK IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. Thanks to all who made our stay a wonderful experience.

We stayed her the last weekend of October. The bikes where so great to see town. The house was well accommodated with wverything we could need. The space was perfect for 4 adults and the separation of the bedrooms made it feel even larger. The hot tub was perfect and the backyard set up was great for some outdoor time. Flawless stay with clear instructions. Plan to stay here agin in the future!

Great little house with nice amenities (hot tub, bikes, etc) and location within walking distance to downtown. Very, very hot in the summer with no A/C and the recommended usage of the swamp cooler didn't really cool it down much. Ended up spending a lot of time messing with the swamp cooler and arranging fans just to get it to a bearable temperature - not the way I would've liked to spend my vacation time in Salida. Would stay again but not in the summer.

We so enjoyed our stay at the sunflower 🌻 house. The host was amazing, kept in touch when we needed, but gave us our space to enjoy our vacation!
Location of this place is awesome far enough away from Main Street to not feel like you are in the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to take the dogs for a walk to the river. The beds were comfortable the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed, the house overall was awesome.
I especially loved sitting in the hot tub after a nice long day of riding bikes. I would highly recommend this place to anybody.

This was a great home base for our family of four for a 3 day ski trip. Just minutes from downtown Salida and an easy drive to Monarch ski resort. We felt right at home and found everything we needed for relaxing and making meals. The hot tub was a great way to end the day after skiing.
If we come back to ski Monarch again we will definitely try to reserve Sunflower House again.

We had a wonderful time. The hot tub was awesome after our days at Monarch. I definitely enjoyed having coffee on the front porch swings every morning. Having access to the bikes and nearby park was an awesome treat for our daughter. Thanks for allowing us to bring our dog, definitely completed our trip having him there with us.

Our family came up to Salida for a ski trip getaway and found the perfect place to stay. We brought our two dogs with and enjoyed a very quiet place that was still close to the heart of Salida.
We used the hot tub every night and enjoyed the spacious living room for board games and movies. Our dogs appreciated the fenced in yard, too.
This place was exactly as advertised. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and roomy. Two bedrooms were perfect for a family of four. Everything was fantastic.
