First off the place was clean and comfortable, but dated.
Property Manager sent someone to check on us "spying?"several times in a beatup pick up. I figured out what he was doing after the third time. But first thoughts were, is he stalking us? Is he going to rob us? It was not cool and very unsettling. Unprofessional in my opinion
Pictures online are probably 10 years old. The vegetation is overgrown and blocks 30% of the view of cove.

Quiet very private neighborhood with beach access adjacent to the property. Beautiful views of the ocean from deck and west facing rooms. We had a great time and recommend this property.

Location was amazing. House is older but was cozy and the listing is very accurate. Our young kids had a wonderful time and we would stay in this location again.

Very conveniently situated just outside city limits with beach access. Great views of the ocean, nice quiet evenings and pets allowed! All made for a very nice quick weekend trip to the ocean. This is our second stay in this property, we love the convenience and the beach access.

The view of the beach and ocean made it all worthwhile. The interior is poorly maintained with stained carpet, leaking sink, broken windows, soft floor due to water leak, very old interior with zero updates. If you love the ocean - you’ll be happy but if you like any ambiance inside you are out of luck!

Had a wonderful stay at Cypress Cove. The space worked wonderfully for our needs. Perfect space, spectacular views, and close to everything we needed. It could use a little updating, but that wouldn’t stop us from staying here again, and that view more than made up for it.

You couldn't ask for a better location. The view was beautiful. And the trail down to the beach/cove is steps away. There are ropes to guide you down the last few "Earth" stairs, but it's still doable. We were four friends enjoying the minus tides & tiny baby Canadian Geese. Only a few human visitors that weekend. The house was clean & comfortable. As was the hot tub. Easy 11 minute drive to Mendocino made for a perfect day trip. But aside from that, we really didn't feel the need to leave. It's definitely a favorite.

Great spot if looking for a fabulous view. And there is ocean/beach access. (Not easy tho!) The accommodations suited our group of 6 fine. However, be aware that that this property is really in need of a makeover! I think the last update may have been in the 60’s. It has a very dated interior, if that bothers you, don’t rent this one.

We enjoyed the property and its location. Great views! too bad the telescope is not working and a few of the lights inside and outside the home did not work. Kitchen is a bit small for 6 adults, but we managed it fine. nice location close to town and easy to find. homeless guy at the edge of the property and on the beach was a bit sketchy, but no real issue. Thank you for a pleasant stay

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend celebrating my sisters birthday. The view is unbelievable. The house is quite large and comfortable for our party of 6. Can’t wait to go back

We had absolute amazing stay and will definitely rent the house again. We enjoyed the hot tub while looking out into the ocean. There was close access down to the beach which was relatively private. Highly recommend stay here.

Nice view older home
View is amazing. Overall property a bit older and dated. Needed a deep clean and a good airing (smells damp from sea air) family loved it and location is great. The private beach is exceptional!

Gorgeous view and great location
View and location are as advertised. Minutes from the Botanical Garden and downtown. Kitchen is well stocked. Very comfortable bed and sitting areas. It is an older home, fixtures and cabinets reminded me of my childhood.

Perfect family and dog getaway!
We stayed at Cypress Cove during our grandson's spring break. We had five adults, an 11 year old boy and two dogs that loved the short walk to the beach and around the neighborhood. The house layout was perfect for us. The views from the deck, hot tub and house were incredible! We look forward to staying here again. We had a fabulous vacation. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

Excellent ocean-view house, perfect for wedding weekend
This house has a fabulous view of the ocean, there's always the sound of waves in the background, a hot tub, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, laundry room & garage. We stayed only for 4 nights for a wedding but this was a perfect place to stay & relax. The house itself is simple, practical and straight from the 1970's -- wood panels, octagonal light fixtures, small but equipped kitchen, etc. -- and had everything we needed! It was a joy to hang out in the wonderful hot tub under the stars after a day of wedding activities. My only "issue" is that many of the windows in the back rooms would not open so it was a bit difficult to get some fresh air in (for those in the party that wanted cooler evening air). All-in-all, would absolutely stay here again.

Location location location
What a fantastic house with the perfect location! It’s an older house but everything is comfortable which is crucial. The dogs loved running in the yard and the path down to the cove is right next to the yard. Couldn’t be happier and would definitely stay again.

Perfect for a weekend with friends
We were looking for a house where a few friends could spend time together and relax, and this house was perfect. Comfy living room, cheery kitchen, hot tub outside, overlooking the beach. Easy access to the beach from a trail next to the house. We're looking forward to coming back!

Time Away
My wife and I were looking for a hassle free getaway and found this location to be just that very thing. Its location and beach access made it possible to park the car and spend our entire time in one place. The house was comfortable and had all amenities needed to make our stay enjoyable. The property owner was very helpful and always very responsive. We are looking forward to our next break at Cypress Cove.

Family vacation
We loved your home and had an amazing stay. Loved that it was dog friendly and the view was out of this work. The only recommendations is that the dining room lights get replaced, there were 6 of 8 burned out. The house also needed a little more cleaning as there was white spilled stuff all over the front of the couches. I was easily able to clean the couch with soap and water. The window seals were also filled with dead moths. I apologize if this is too critical but thought u would like to know. We would absolutely love to rent your home again as we loved the location and coziness of your lovely home. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed for cooking.
