Cabin was as expected. Was happy the fridge had separate freezer as it was listed as apt size. Quiet and relaxing place with everything you need. Was hoping to swim and utilize kayaks/boats but there was bad algea bloom do we opted to explore Mt St Helen’s area. Not sure if algae blooms are frequent at this lake

It was a wonderful little cabin. Its simplicity is what made it special. It’s close to the lake, but secluded enough to be quiet, private, and comfortable. Host was very friendly and property was clean. I definitely would recommend and will definitely be back myself.

Went over for a wedding and turned it in to a mini vacay. The place was great. 2 minute walk to the lake.

Great place to relax! Quiet and peaceful. Could use a few upgrades like new cushions on the porch chair. Limited comfortable seating inside.
Overall, enjoyed the stay. Cabin had everything we needed. It even provided us with some sanity! 😁

Had a wonderful stay at the Cabin in late April 2024. Clean and very comfortable. Nice quiet location near a lake. Access to kayaks and canoe. Easy 45 min drive to several hiking trails at Mt St Helen.

This cabin is comfortable and tucked away on a hillside, a 2min walk to the community dock and boating area. Looks fun in summer but we were fortunate to have a snowy getaway in a this rustic cabin in the woods w/ fun nature inspired decor. Besides the cable tv, this is a classic cabin where time slows down. Ideal for 2 adults yet my family of 4 w/ 2 tweens got along just fine in the cozy space. Bed w/ a bench w/ back and kitchen table w/ 4 chair fills the main space; a bedroom w/ a queen bed is situated behind a fold out "accordian" privacy door. The fireplace provides good warmth -- needs persistent feeding and there is plenty of wood on site (we turned off the electric space heaters). Stove with small burners did the job, oven worked fine. Like every rental house, consider bringing your own cookware, cutlery/board, and coffee set-up if you prefer your own tools of trade. The front porch is fantastic for sitting back. We enjoyed the Silver Lake loop hike just minute drive down the 504, enjoyed snowshoeing at higher elevation toward St. Helens, and we awed by the beauty of the Toutle River Basin, a geological wonder. Owner Dan was very friendly and accomodating. All of my family enjoyed this place and we look forward to returning. If you like getting back to the basics, this is a good fit for you.

Fantastically silent, can hear absolutely zero road noise or any outside noise. Prepare to sleep hard.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was delayed several years and so glad we finally made it back for Thanksgiving. Charming, cozy, warm and very thoughtfully cabin-ey. They never MOOSE an opportunity to pay tribute to our antlered fiends, either. Hope to stay again next year.

The cabin was cozy and comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well appointed. It had everything we needed and our visit there was relaxing and restirative. We hope to stay there again soon!

Cheyenne, my fur baby, and I had a wonderful stay. As a kayaker, I loved the location and access to lakes on and around Mt. St. Helens. The cabin was cozy and very comfortable. Loved sitting on the porch, even in the rain. Both beds were very comfortable. The only negative was the arrangement of the living room. There is no place to sit to watch TV or read except on the bed. Maybe a comfortable couch/hide-a-bed would be better. Overall, though, it was a very enjoyable week-long personal retreat, I didn't even mind the all the rain.

The cabin is rustic but cozy, secluded and quiet; shaded by abundant pine trees. Beds were comfortable. Shower is small but manageable and the shower hot water was almost instantaneous. Access to the lake was just steps across the road. Having access to one-person kayaks and a 2-person kayak was an added (free) bonus and great fun to paddle around Silver Lake. The host - Dan - was super responsive and very knowledgeable and informative in giving tips about activities in the area. Access to numerous hiking trails near & around Mount St. Helens was unbeatable. We had a great time!

We had a great time. The cabin is clean and well furnished. The bear theme made us smile! Unique decor, but so fun. The lake had perfect paddling smooth and calm. We would definitely return.

Cozy cabin close to Mt St Helens. Very relaxing after a long day of hiking and exploring Mt St Helens. It has lake access with use of a kayak and row boat. We didn’t discover that until we were leaving so be sure to use that and take in the beautiful lake/views.

This is an older cabin but has all the amenities you need to stay comfortable. It's very cute and cozy. The small kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and prepare your meals. The lake access is a short distance away and the river is a small drive. Perfect getaway for someone who likes to fish.

I love this place and location. My family and dogs love this place as well. It's really cozy but what I didn't like that It's dirty and dusty like they haven't clean the place in a long time. Lots of spider web and spider like over the place inside the cabin, yes, I know its on the woods but it doesn't mean that it can get clean before you have an arrival. Also,it's such a cute and small place that It's really overwhelming that is full of bear stuff like a lots all over the place and that takes alots of space for the things that you bring for your family. We didn't use the water dispenser definitely not the bench/couch in there super useless and hard to seat on. But overall it was a good experience and I do recommend.

Great little cabin, perfect getaway for a couple. Beautiful lake, husband had fun fishing. Other comments on small kitchen and refrigerator, we stayed for five days, brought all our food and had no problem. Just used our cooler for cans. Comfortable bed. Only comment would be to have a couch (foldout bed if necessary) in living room instead of a bed.

This was our 1st of many family trips to Silver Lake. We plan to visit every rental available on the lake.
This cute rustic cabin was perfect and matches the description. Owner was available to speak with in person (Dan lives just down the lane further). Probably not the best place for someone in a wheel chair. The cabin is nestled into the hillside, steep drive way, & limited parking next to the cabin.

We loved our stay. It was perfect. Loved all the bear and moose decor. Dan came and greeted us the first night gave us tips on what to see. Not a lot of room for cooking. I would advise anyone to prep your food a head of time and bring coolers because it only has a mini frig. Shower is small, but I had expected that from the reviews. Location is perfect we had an awesome time and if we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay again.

The cabin was very cute and rustic, with cute bear and moose decor throughout. The bed in the living room is quite springy and not the most comfortable to sit on and watch TV, however the bed in the bedroom was very comfortable to sleep on.
The property and surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful, great views of the lake and easy access to the dock and water. Also great place to stay if you are going to see Mount Saint Helens.
Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

Quirky and cozy cabin set on a steep incline back off SilverLake. No actual lake view from cabin but just a short walk down to owners water related facilities.
Cabin had all self catering facilities required and was comfortable.
Within a 45 min drive of Mt St Helens Observatory with another visitor centre closer.

The cabin is charming with a rustic feel. Cute decor everywhere! The fireplace was fully set up with wood ready to go and had the nicest fire! There are two beds to sleep in, a bathroom with a small shower and heated lamp. A nice vanity is there as well. Small fridge and kitchen with utensils, tea, spices, and some other essentials. Wifi, smart TV, board games and dvd's. The porch outside is nice to sit and be immersed in the forest. The owner, Dan is very friendly and will answer any questions.

We really enjoyed our weekend in the cute little cabin

Absolutely loved the wood furniture in the cabin and all of the small details. I would’ve preferred a pull out couch in the living room area instead of a 2nd bed but I understand the reason for the extra sleeping space.

I really enjoyed my stay at this Perfect a little cabin near the lake. The owner supplies everything you will need, With the exception of groceries and toiletries. There is a Keurig machine, toaster, stove and oven. The cabinet is set up nicely with one bedroom, and another large pool style bed in the living room area. This was a great spot for me, traveling alone with my dog. But I could also see it working out great for a couple, or small family. The owner is wonderful, I know I’ll be back!

I am in the hotel business, and i know great service when i see it. The Host at this propoerty should be the mold that VRBO uses for all thier hosts. The communication was simple, they werent intrusive, the cabin was perfect, and the location was beautiful. We will be back soon and a special thanks to Kat for the extra help with my forgotten item!

Dan is the best host ever! The cabin was exactly as described. We had the fireplace going most evenings. Dan checked on us frequently but not in an intrusive way. If we needed anything, he was quick to respond (like more matches, towels, etc. ). My daughter had the best time. I wish we could stay there every year.
