This condo was fabulous. Every morning we saw whales and spinner dolphins. With Kauais penchant for rain we witnessed many rainbows. The sunsets were magnificent. The condo was spacious and nicely appointed. I would come back again!

It was a beautifully furnished condo. We especially enjoyed the atrium room with the windows that folded wide open—spectacular view of the ocean. Fun to watch the surfers and spot all the whale spouts—even a couple of breeches.

Exactly as advertised. Beautiful views and a great location to get to Pua Poa Beach, Hideaways Beach, etc.

Overall (3 stars) - Location was fantastic overlooking ocean (5 stars) - Construction noise weekdays 8a-3p/4p (0 stars) - Communication was timely when I had questions during the stay, but no advance notice of construction while booking (3 stars) - Property: furniture/decor is dated, unit has good A/C, good wifi, lacking privacy since unit above can look down into living space outside primary bedroom and primary bedroom has vertical blind door/wall separating it from living space (3 stars) Details for the above. Location (5 stars) - The property location is amazing and A/C was needed since it was warm during our stay. View of the ocean is breathtaking. Walking distance to dining at 1 Hotel (expensive but good) and hideaway beach (short physical hike down the cliff). Construction Noise (0 stars) - 6 units were undergoing renovation so construction noise started at 8a every weekday and went until the afternoon (3p-4p). We planned to sleep in and relax at the condo/pool but this was not possible with the saws and jack hammers in use daily. If you plan to be out before 8a every day, this will not impact you. Communication (2 stars) - Richard communicated clearly and quickly when I messaged during the stay (5 stars). When I enquired about construction noise, he knew of some construction and recommended we plan activities away from the unit during the weekday (0 stars since recommendation wasn't our plan and construction he was aware of wasn't communicated during booking).

What a fantastic way to spend 10 days in Princeville. The condo has all the mod cons so we cooked in pretty much every night of our stay; mostly fresh local seafood and veg. The views from the green house roofed entry, kitchen and living room are all expansive but the lanai view is the real show stopper: wide expanses of the ocean fringed by lush vegetation closer to shore. We saw surfers and people snorkeling close to shore while further out whales breached as they passed in pods heading north. Close to the places we wanted to be, the condo was the perfect place for us.

Perfect Location for a recharging. This condo is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Watch surfers and whales from the balcony.

Richard's condo was perfect for our family of four. The view is gorgeous, the home is very clean and well outfitted and Richard was a gracious host.

The condo is exactly as described if not more. The view off the patio is amazing. We stayed in July and it was warm in Princeville, but this unit has air conditioning and therefore allowed us to stay cool when we were in the condo. The kitchen and full size refrigerator allowed us to prepare and cook a few meals as well. I would recommend this unit to everyone

Number 207 is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The view was unbeatable. The interior was bright and comfortable, we liked the sunroom feature which made the place feel huge, the glass light wall which was very calming in the late night. The furniture was in great condition and clean and the towels were soft and clean. As for the property, this is as close as you can get to the steep but quick 6 min trail to Hideaways beach, a great beach for calm snorkeling. The pool while small was not crowded and there were a couple of times we were the only ones there. We also played tennis at the Puu Poa tennis court a couple of times, although the court was not in good shape and could use a washing and some cracks filled in. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the unit and Richard (owner/manager) was responsive and helped us get in quickly. We would definitely come back to Puu Poa!

Beautiful and spacious unit overlooking the pacific! Exceptional sunset viewing from the enormous lanai. Very well equipped kitchen for cooking most meals. Great selection of appliances and good sized dinning table. Bathrooms are very well done and very clean. Great sunroom with equally great views as the lanai. It was nice to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean! Plenty of parking and Hideaway Beach is a short walk away. Great communication and very friendly host! Thanks for the incredible stay at such a lovely property!

This is a beautiful property, excellent layout, private, with the most amazing beach just below the property. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing family vacation with adventure opportunities all around. The unit was perfect for preparing in house meals that we ate on the balcony with the most amazing views, warm breezes, and sound of the ocean. The sun porch was a dream with the windows completely opening to make a outside/inside experience falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. The walk to Hideaway beach was straight out of Swiss Family Robinson…..the beach was so amazing we scrapped plans to visit other beaches….very few people at the beach and had it to ourselves in the later evening & in the early morning. Amazing snorkeling where we swam with turtles, eels, variety of fish, among other things. Saw surfers off the beach daily. The property was surprisingly quiet. We only saw a handful of people on the property during our stay and the pool was almost always empty. The beach is so amazing we only used the pool a couple of times. Wish we had more time so we could explore Hanalei & beaches/trails North…..next time. Only challenge was road traffic south which was a small price to pay. Richard was a gracious & responsive host. The property is expensive to stay at but well worth the price and a great value. Mark

The only negative was that there was Only coffee filters and a roll of Saran Wrap for pantry items…… No spices, not even salt and pepper BUT that was a minor inconvenience compared to all the plusses!! The condo was beautiful as was the setting, and the location was great. We loved our stay there. The host is wonderful, and communicated well with us. Thank you!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The location was wonderful with an amazing view of the ocean from the Lanai and out in front of the condo was an incredible view of the mountains where you could see many waterfalls after a rain. We were able to watch whales at a distance from the lanai. The place was very comfortable and was fairly stocked with dishes. The place was very clean and all the linens were set out beautifully. The reason I gave 4 stars for cleanness was the dishes and cookware were not very clean and heavily used. We washed most every thing before we used it. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

We could not have been more thrilled about our stay at this beautiful condo. The kitchen is well equipped, the barbecue is a lovely addition as we tend to like to cook ourselves while we are on vacation. The views from the expansive windows are spectacular. Richard was a wonderful host, responsive and accessible anytime for questions before and during your stay. The location in Princeville is close to beautiful beaches, amazing hiking trails, and a wonderful farmers market on Saturdays can be found in nearby Kilauea. The views from the lanai are very good! The layout of condo takes full advantage of the ocean views. It was also very quiet. The interior is dated but in good shape. **If you want to see the lighthouse you need to make a reservation at least a week in advance. We got shutout**
