Orchard Cottage - A mountain retreat
Orchard Cottage wurde liebevoll ein paar Jahren zu einem sehr hohen Standard renoviert. Es ist in sanften herbstlichen Tönen mit sehr bequemen Betten und viel lokaler Herkunft Antiquitäten und Kunstwerken dekoriert. Es liegt auf einem mehr als 20 Hektar großen Familienbesitz, der auf dem Rücken zur wilde und unberührte Roxbury Mountain. Unsere wichtigsten Familienhaus und Hütte sitzen weiter den Hügel hinauf durch Sie mit absoluter Privatsphäre.

We had a great post Christmas stay at Orchard Cottage. The cottage was even more quaint in person, with everything we needed for our stay. The high quality bedding and linens made for a cozy stay. We enjoyed lots of family time by the wood-burning fire - our favorite part of our stay by far. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

We had the best time staying in the Mad River Valley. Great location. Close to ski resorts and close enough for a day trip up to Waterbury and Stowe.

We were very comfortable at Orchard Cottage. Great beds and shower. The area was friendly and lots of fun. Spent lots of time on the beautiful porch when we weren’t hiking and exploring. Would love to return another time.

My friend and I stayed here for several days and we were so happy we chose this as our home base The home and property are just beautiful! As many reviews have said, the home is even more lovely in person (which is hard to imagine!) and it has all the amenities one could ask for. The morning coffee on the deck with a gorgeous view was the perfect way to start our day. Waitsfield and Warren are so close and very charming towns. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. Hiking, biking, swimming, tasty cheeses, maple creemee at Canteen Creemee, great farm stands, local markets (so close!!) wonderful restaurants, pottery, glass art and so much more… We had so much fun exploring and then coming back to our lovely, comfortable home base. I plan to return here with my family. Thank you!

This is a 5 star rental that acts like a warm embrace from the chaos of day to day life. The property and home are beautiful, spacious, clean and incredibly inviting. On top of the space being so fabulous - the owner and housekeeper were attentive, responsive and committed to all the details that make a vacation special. We can't wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orchard Cottage. When we arrived we found the house spotless and lights were on to welcome us. The cottage is very well maintained and decorated with beautiful antiques. My favorite part of the house is the oversized and well-stocked kitchen, the large bathroom with extra soft towels and the views of the sunset in the evening. Easy drive to Sugarbush. When reading a few reviews, I was a little nervous how the road would be, but relative to other dirt roads in the Mad River Valley, this was easy. This is by far, my favorite house I have rented in the Valley (and I've rented many). Hope to be back!

House is spectacular, beautifully designed, decorated, and maintained. Beautiful views and location near skiiing, hiking, and fishing. Prompt and helpful communication throughout. East Warren community store nearby. Might not be the best for guests with mobility challenges - stairs are little steep, and path in can get a little narrow/icy.

We enjoyed our stay at this property during the holiday ski season. It provided clean and ample space for our family of two adults and two children. The location allowed easy access to Sugarbush and Waitsfield. Having the East Warren Community Market down the road was very convenient. Our kids enjoyed playing in the open yard space.

What a wonderful place. Orchard cottage is everything it seems like in the photos and more. We cooked all of our meals here and sat by the fire for hours. Highly recommend. Note: If coming in winter, you will definitely need AWD or 4WD and snow tires wouldn't hurt! We should have known to heed that warning.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Orchard Cottage. It was a beautiful time of year to be in Vermont, with a lot of nearby activities and hikes. We hope to return soon!

First, this was by far the cleanest property I’ve rented. Second, it’s packed with so. much. character. Off a gorgeous country road, this house made my colonial New England dreams come true. Gorgeous wood beams throughout, wood burning fireplaces (with plenty of wood provided), and a picturesque claw-foot tub. There’s also a bonus jet tub on the lower level. We went down to the market every morning for coffee and a fresh scone or egg sandwich, and there’s restaurants a short drive away in Waitsfield. (Pro tip: make a dinner reservation in advance at the Inn in downtown Warren—they were booked the entire week we were there and it looks very cute). Great hiking nearby, and the drive on E Warren Road gives gorgeous views of the mountains. 10/10 would stay again. Thank you!

Perfect location to visit Norwich University for parents weekend. This cottage was so peaceful and relaxing. The fall foliage was spectacular and the running stream was so calming. Will definitely stay again😊

My wife and 2 daughters and I spent a magical week in Warren at this cottage. The pictures don't do justice to how wonderful and peaceful it is, and how nice the amenities are. We'll look forward to staying here on our next trip to Vermont, a definite repeat!

We loved this property. It was neat, tidy and in a beautiful area with plenty of activities. Our children enjoyed playing in the yard while we relaxed from the front porch.

Orchard Cottage was the perfect place to get away and relax with all the amenities you need. It was so beautiful and peaceful and easily accessible to some beautiful hikes. We'd love to come back in the winter and do some cross country skiing!

The cottage is lovely - exactly as advertised. It is remote and peaceful yet not far to either Warren or Waitsfield. Heidi was communicative and pleasant. The experience overall was exactly what we'd hoped for. Highly recommend!

We were hoping for a pretty, cozy, comfortable stay in the country and were so happy with our stay at Orchard Cottage. The house is historic but beautifully renovated and appointed. Kitchen was great for cooking every meal, beautiful views from almost every window, great bathrooms, spotlessly clean. The location is "away from it all" and so peaceful, yet there's a small, upscale grocery just three minutes drive from the house so it was totally convenient. We lucked out choosing this place!
