We enjoyed staying at Robyn’s nest. The house was very clean and we loved being close to the access for the beach. The weather was terrible, but that couldn’t be helped.

We had a fantastic time at this clean, well-maintained & comfortable beach house just a short walk from life-guarded beach. The layout and amenities were perfect for us- a family group of 12 people ages 12-65. The owner was very responsive and helpful during booking, a thoroughly and quickly answering several pre-trip questions I had. The vacation exceeded our expectations and we hope to stay here again in the future. some

Rooms and layout were perfect for our 2 families (10 people total)! Family room was perfect for video game challenges, board and card games. Open concept was just what we needed to keep everyone together. Screened in outdoor area was perfect for kids. Outdoor shower and fish cleaning station were highly appreciated after a short walk to and from the beach. Pool and spa were lifesavers when ocean temp or tides werent allowing a beach day. Owner was super responsive to questions. Highly recommended!

Just what we needed for 2 families!! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. About 1.5 blocks from the beach. Nice quiet area away from the hustle and bustle but everything we needed was within a 2 mile radius. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time. The house was extremely well stocked with anything we needed especially the kitchen. Although the coffee maker took over 45 minutes to make we started to use anorher one. We are older and were use to shower handles it would benefit ones for future renters. We especially loved the extra roomy living area. We are very pleased with our stay and want to thank you for an overall stay.

Great house, great amenities, great location!
Pool was wonderful and clean with lots of chairs in the shade. Beach was a convenient walk away. Rooms were comfortable.
The house came with so many extra little things that helped our stay; like a pack and play crib, tons of blankets, crayons, pool/beach toys, and a bunch of beach chairs. Even the pool guys that came halfway through the week to clean were quick, efficient, and friendly.
Only issue is the walls are thin, we could hear people in the kitchen from the bedrooms downstairs.

We had a wonderful experience at the property. The neighborhood is quiet and family oriented. Just a short walk to the beach on a very nice public walkway. The beach offered lots of shells to find and was clean. We had unseasonably cool weather but that’s the luck of the draw. Our entire family had a wonderful stay!

We had a great 2-week stay at Robyn’s Nest. There was a total of 9 of us - 4 kids ranging from 3 to 11 and 5 adults ranging from late-30s to early-70s. The house was clean and the kitchen had great amenities as well as plenty of countertop for meal prep. We appreciated little details like nightlights in the hallways and plenty of towel hooks in the rooms and bathrooms for all our towels. Also loved the pool and the canopy to provide shade!
The location was also awesome because it’s a relatively short walk to the beach. We rented bikes for one of the weeks and we were 9/10th of a mile from the park and Currituck Lighthouse and Corolla Light shopping. We biked for pastries and ice cream and to the sound for sunsets and fishing/crabbing. We loved that we were close enough to make short bike trips!
When our family returns in a few years - Robyn’s Nest will be our first choice!

The location of the property is great. Sturgeon Beach Access is 1 house away. A short walk and you are on the beach. Nice neighborhood, pleasantly quiet. You are close to just about everything. Our family of 11 aging from 63 to 3, 6 adults and 5 children ages 15 to 3 , were very comfortable during our stay. Roomy enough to be together, yet everyone had their own quiet place on the property. The property is well taken care of with plenty of dishes, games, books, and puzzles for all ages. We honestly were quite content to spend our week at the house and the beach. We had a very nice stay at Robyns Nest.

The house was cleaned to perfection and smelled great when we got there. The house was perfect for 10 adults and 2 infants.The walk to the beach was a quick 4-5 minutes and all shopping/food stores are within a 10 minute drive. The only thing I would suggest may be some lighting for the hot tub at night/the back steps. Kevin was extremely helpful with any questions we had and always answered quickly. We loved our stay and can’t wait to book with Kevin again!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. It was my husband and I, our two young girls (4 and 2), two sets of grandparents, and two friends. The house had everything we needed and super clean. The location couldn’t be better, short walk to beach, short distance to grocery store, restaurants and shopping. Kevin was easy to contact and always replied back in a timely manner. We would definitely vacation here again.

This is our second year vacationing in the Outer Banks and our first time renting in Corolla.
As a point of reference, we have four boys ranging in age from 21 to 10. The house was absolutely perfect for our family's needs!
Each child had their own bedroom and we had the master.
The house was exceptionally clean and well-stocked and the pool and hot tub were used several times a day.
Beach access was very easy - a few steps from the house you will find a structured boardwalk that will have you at the beach within about 8 minutes or so.
A few minutes' drive to all kinds of restaurants and shops.
Kevin, the owner, was so helpful and responsive to questions. Everything was explained so well before we arrived and he quickly responded to a request about favorite restaurants.
The love and care he has put into making this an exceptional vacation home is evident.

We all thought that the property had everything it claimed to have. It was conveniently located to all that we needed while there. Easy walking distance to the beach, and less than 2 miles to several restaurants, mini golf, and grocery stores. It was clean an the owner was responsive to any questions we had. Excellent!

Would definitely recommend Robyn’s Nest. It was well suited to our needs, two houses away from the path to the beach, had a small pool that the kids really enjoyed, had a really nice outdoor shower (with hot water), and even an extra fridge downstairs. Kevin was very quick to reply and prompt to address and follow up on any issues we had. Definitely would recommend him as a host. Thank you for a lovely time!

Perfect beach house
This house was perfect for our family vacation to the Outer Banks. The house was spotless when we arrived. All the appliances and furniture are new and are in great condition. The central AC works great. The house is very spacious. The location is perfect for beach access. It is a very easy 5 minute walk to the beach on a boardwalk right next to the house and a 2 minute drive to nearby restaurants and stores. The backyard swimming pool and hot tub are wonderful. There are trees all around the pool which provide privacy. The views from the decks and crow’s nest are beautiful. Communication with the host was excellent. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Outer Banks.

Whalehead Beach
I stayed at the property for 3 nights and the experience was flawless. Home is walking distance to the beach and very easily accessible. The pool and spa are great for staying in when you don’t have the energy to go to the beach. The home itself was clean and spacious (our group at 8 guys). The communication with the property manager was also flawless. Would recommend this place to stay to anyone and will be hoping to stay here again in the future.

Property was filthy, smelled of urine and there were bugs
Unfortunately, we spent no more than 20 mins at this property. The moment we opened the front door, the smell of urine was overpowering. At first we hoped it would dissipate--we drove 16 hours to be on this vacation. As we made our way into the house, we discovered the home had not been cleaned between stays. Hard surface floors were sticky, hair on beds and furniture. The inside of the freezer was dirty, bedding was strewn all over. The moment we saw bugs crawling on the wall was the moment we decided we simply needed to abandon this property as it felt unsanitary and unhealthy. Owner lives many hours away in Pennsylvania and was in no position to evaluate the property himself, nor could we wait for someone to come and address these issues, especially since there's no guarantee smells like that and bugs like those can simply be removed in a matter of minutes. I genuinely felt sorry for the owner as he seemed shocked to learn that the property was in this kind of condition. Nonetheless, he didn't offer a refund (and we had to seek accommodations elsewhere so we not only paid for this property but also nights at a hotel) and went down the path of wanting to negotiate how much of a refund. I was shocked that he didn't immediately offer a full refund but I think this is an investment property and he obviously cares more about cash flow than hospitality (and health and sanitation, for that matter). In this state, this properly should not be VRBO.

Great Stay in Robyn's Nest
Our family had a great stay at Robyn's Nest. The walk to the beach was easy and convenient. We also liked that there was a parking area near the beach so we didn't have to lug all of our beach gear as far on long beach days. My kids loved the pool and spent a lot of time each day in it. There were only 5 of us, so there was plenty of room. The location was great as it wasn't far from food and shopping areas. We had a such a great, relaxing week and would not hesitate staying here again.

Loved staying at birds nest. It’s in a great location - near to beach, wild horse tours, water sports, light house! The private pool and spa were clean an enjoyable. The only qualm I had was that the kitchen smelled of fish and we had to use a room freshener.

Amazing stay!
Robyn’s Nest is a wonderful place to stay. Super convenient and close to the beach. The home was immaculate and perfect for my group of 11 for a bachelorette weekend. The photos do not do it justice! Kevin was great at communicating and we had no issues during our stay. We loved the hot tub and corn hole. I wouldn’t change a thing!

Fantastic Family Vacation
We really had a great time staying at Robyn's Nest. There were 7 of us, and we had a very comfortable 3-week stay there'.
The pictures in the listing probably don't do the place justice. Very nice kitchen with everything we needed, and all the rooms were kept updated. Awesome pool and hot tub.
As other reviews indicate, it's a couple of blocks from the beach, so the walk could get hot at times with carrying beach stuff, but that was really a minor issue.
Also, Kevin was an amazing and responsive host, and had any house issues fixed very quickly.
We would love to come back for an extended stay again. Definitely recommend this place.

Great family vacation
This was the first time in Corolla and we had a blast with the whole family. The house is big and clean . The kitchen is great and has all the supply’s needed. Great pool with a great hot tub . Outside is a plus . Nice grill to barbecue. Outside basketball court is great . WiFi is very good and the tv has most of the premium channels . Short walk to the beach and the house has complimentary chairs and umbrellas . The location is great with groceries store near by and gas station . Check in was easy . The entire family had a great time and enjoy the house and look forward in staying here at Robyn’s Nest .

Had a fantastic vacation at Robyn’s Nest! Spacious, comfortable, modern, clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, games, and a few beach chairs and umbrellas. Really enjoyed the pool. Easy, responsive communication with the owner. 2-3 blocks to the beach, but it was manageable with a beach wagon to tote everything. Highly recommend!

Wonderful vacation home in Corolla
We love Robyn's Nest and recently had our fourth stay over the past few years. The home is very well-maintained and stocked for a comfortable week's vacation. The owners have always been extremely responsive to questions and in relaying information. On each visit, we have enjoyed all the property has to offer - beautiful home, open kitchen/living area to relax, pool, hot tub - as well as the perfect location - short walk to the beach, walking/biking trails to many sights, close to the 4-wheel drive beach for wild pony sightings.
