We had a wonderful time. The condo was comfortable and the view was spectacular!!

We arrived to a very unattractive furniture arrangement with all the furniture pushed up against the walls, not at all like the online picture. I took the liberty to rearrange to make it more attractive and comfortable for our stay. The master bedroom has the dresser and the chest side by side on one wall instead of arranged attractively on separate walls - space was not an issue to do that. The closets in both rooms were unusable as the owner has the entire space with lamps, pictures, furnishings, and bedding ( blankets looked disgusting and we did not use even though our bed was made with top sheet and quilt coverlet - no blanket!) The unit is very poorly maintained: hall has wall brackets for skis and coats and they were loose and falling off, there are wall outlets with no outlet covers, walls were all marked up ( I wiped down one of them in the living area!) There are sections of toe molding in the bathroom and hall areas that were cut out like an animal had chewed it up. Equally unattractive is a large protruding, empty microwave box in the upper kitchen cabinets - weird! It is SAD because this unit can be decorated and maintained with minimal effort! IT's location is ideal for ski in/out and access to the village. As a former ski condo owner at Sugarbush, Vermont on the resort rental program for 20 years, the lack of pride of ownership is very sad indeed. Lastly, the unit was missing many items such as kitchen trash bags and liquid dish detergent ( Management told me just to put pots and pans in dishwasher - really, my egg pan did not come clean and I scrubbed it with water and powder dishwasher detergent about 5 times). I'm too proud to leave it dirty for the next renter. The wine bottle opener is broken too and my husband had to go to front desk to borrow one. For the money, I would find better accommodations.

I was looking for a place with fresh air, beautiful views and a peaceful setting to relax and reflect. I found that and more.

Nicely appointed unit. Location in Mountain Lodge is excellent as it near an exterior door and on the "quiet" side of the building. There were some cosmetic issues that were shared, and following good communication with the owner I am sure they will be addressed. Would definitely stay here again.

All of the property amenities are currently closed due to COVID. This is not reflected in the listing. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable rental. Limited blankets also due to COVID.

The property was great and so was location. Upon check in, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Check out was a terrible experience. I was harassed by the clerk and manager about a key that I never received. They continually told me "the computer says you have four keys, and you will pay for it". We only got 3 keys, and one did not work. I have never been treated that poorly by staff before. I left the property crying in front of my children. The actual property was great.

The property was just as expected. Close to the slopes. The unit was clean and comfortable. We had a great weekend.

Two power outages caused us to depart one day earlier than scheduled. No remote for second bedroom, otherwise good.

The location and proximity to slopes is wonderful, and the condo was cleaned well by housekeeping before our arrival. The dryer took several cycles to (not fully) dry a small load of laundry, which was a pain, as that was the reason I chose this particular ML condo. It could also use a paint job to freshen it up. Unfortunately, the Mountain Lodge itself is run-down, with trash littering the halls, a musty odor, and large groups of high schoolers and college students running through the halls and playing loud music until late in the night. Perhaps we just came during a bad weekend, but I couldn't sleep with the raucous party (and suspicious smells) coming from next door. The ML employees and other guests on the hall tried to ask this particular group to quiet down, but they unfortunately were not successful. It is not the fault of the condo owner, but hopefully the ML can figure out how to handle such situations better in the future! I will not return to the ML. Maybe you'll have better luck with respectful neighbors?

Check in time is to late the day is over before you can check in. The room was nice but the Lodge itself is very dated and dirty. The room was well kept and clean though.

Exactly what we needed for two adults and two kids. Easy walk to slopes and right off ballhooter lift.

property was nice and clean. a little small for six people. one couple slept on the sofa bed which was not very comfortable. Overall this was a very nice place and we would stay again

The property was drafty and cold. The windows didn't seal correctly, none of them, and that resulted in a cold stay when a summer storm hit. Snowshoe is nice, the people are nice and helpful and friendly. However we won't be staying at mountain lodge again. The room was cold even with the heat going, due to improper and probably illegal construction. The windows and patio door didn't seal shut and let a strong breeze into the room, not what you want when it is cold and raining outside. There is also no security, anyone can walk into the outer doors. Small thing but I have a family, no key cards or coded entry. They don't want bikes in the rooms but charge you for lockers for your bikes which is the only reason to go there in the summer. Would return to snowshoe in a heartbeat, just won't stay here again.

The beds and furniture was very comfortable. Quite at night, convenient to slopes. Only negative would be that it is located in one of the older lodges. Good place to stay for skiing.

Unit was good for my husband, myself, daughter and grandaughter. Beds are comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful view!

I loved the washer and dryer. It was a pleasant surprise to see laundry pods and dryer sheets in addition to the dishwasher soap. The last place I stayed at ML had no dishwasher soap and had to use our own hand soap for the dishes. I loved the adult size daily ware and amount of dishware provided, everything I could think of was included. Several serving dishes and two pitches for drinks. The only thing I would ask is when it snowed, the rug got wet by the slider. The more snow the wetter it got. I did not realize it until my socks were wet and noticed the darker spots on the rug was water. I would definitely rent again. Great job providing all the necessary things a guest renter would need.

We booked this place for our family getaway over the long weekend and it was a pleasant stay there with all the arrangements nicely done. The house was absolutely clean with all sheets and linen perfectly set up. The view is exactly as described in the site. I would recommend this to all traveling to snowshoe for quite and a cozy stay.

This place is well set up and well-stocked for the maximum number of visitors in the listing. The room has a great view of the mountain. There is a very small washer-dryer with this unit that is functional. The unit is near the end of the hall, so foot traffic is a little less than it would be on the interior. There is no ski-locker for this unit, so skis must be stored in the room. This unit is in Mountain Lodge, which is a little dated and worn, but the ski-in ski-out access is excellent. Be prepared unpredictable weather as the forecasts for this region appear to be somewhat inaccurate. As for skiing Snowshoe is a great Ski Area for the East and for as far South as it is. Yes, there is ice, and runs are shorter than out west; but they have done a very good job with having enough lifts and areas for the number of skiers that were there. If you're advanced make sure Western Territories is open before you go. You might want to consider getting there in a 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive vehicle or at least a Front Wheel Drive Vehicle with newer All Season Tires. Phone service for AT&T subscribers was very good, but once you leave there ski area coverage drops to zero for nearly 100 miles in the surrounding region, so don't depend on your cell phone if you need to call for help before you getting there or just after you leave.

We're frequent renters in Mountain Lodge and Chris's place rates up there: nicely appointed and updated (new carpet and furniture) as shown! Beds and sleeper sofa comfort are about what you'd expect for being away from home. Kitchen has what you need and was as shiny and clean as the whole place. In short, we appreciated Chris allowing a one night rental and you can't beat the value of staying in ML (location at top of Ballhooter lift!). This unit is at far end, but on ground floor, and with luggage cart it's no big deal (if you mind the walk then what are you doing at place like Snowshoe anyway? Haha! We definitely would stay here again and recommend it to you.

Nice condo. It would have been nice to know there was no air conditioning before booking. One bedroom was almost unbearable to sleep in. I guess these are more for winter guests. Condo wasroomy enough for 3. The 2 bathrooms were definitely a plus. Overall a good experience.

Great cost for a few day getaway.

Just like it was described. It has a nice location to the slopes and to the village. The master bedroom is quite large with a beautiful view of the mountains. It was nice to be on the ground floor. The unit is at the opposite end for where you exit to ski or go to the village but you’re in doors and warm as you make that track. It’s also located by an exit to the parking lot so your right there no need to exit through the main lobby. If you follow the instructions for arrival and check in it is a breeze. The guards at the gate were expecting us and were very helpful as were the front desk. The kitchen was nice and has most everything. If you cook with a crockpot bring one. Also if you haven’t been to Snowshoe before and plan to cook bring most of what you need. Wildcat Provisions does have a lot but they are expensive.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Condo especially because of the great location, the convenient slope-side. The owner was easy to work with, the staffs were friendly. I and my family needed a place to wind off for the weekend, and we had an amazing time at Snowshoe, West Virginia. Been on the first floor with no elevators to contend with made it even more comfortable. This is a perfect place to spend a weekend. i definitely reccommend.

My family and I had a very amazing time at Showshoe due to the hospitality we received from the staff and community. We came for a weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was quite exciting and being slop-sided was a plus. The owner was friendly as well and answered any of our questions along with addressing a small situation. I highly recommend this condo.

We had a blast at Snowshoe, even though it was early-season conditions. I like that this unit is on the end - next to the parking lot! We did not have to deal with elevators! Plus, the building seemed to be quieter on the end that this unit is located in. Great views of the mountains! Would definitely stay here again!
