Beautiful lake house, great decor, comfortable beds. This was one of the best stocked houses we've stayed in. Jon thought of everything. Loved sitting on the deck & dock - great location on the water. Brought our own paddle boards & used them when it wasn't raining. This was a very relaxing vacation for us. Thank you Jon!

My family and I loved our stay in the Berkshires. Jon's home was perfect for our group, and the location is beautiful to relax and enjoy the lake. Plenty to do in the local area, but also great to just be around the house. We'd love to go back!

We loved waking up to the serenity of this gorgeous lake. Jon was the consummate host, taking the time to come meet us at check-in, walk us through the house, do last-minute deck cleaning (there are lots of geese on the water), and offer area suggestions. The house is supremely comfortable and well stocked. Five stars!

The house is beautiful, modern, and very comfortable, with two king-size, one queen-size and two twin beds. Excellent location, short drive to Tanglewood, Berkshires Botanical Garden, several great hiking trails, historic homes, museums, and charming towns like Lenox and Stockbridge. The host was communicative and easy to reach. Best of all: the views of the pond!

Very clean and well equipped. Enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Great location with lots to do in the area. Seeing eagles and a loon was a bonus.

The lake house was perfect! It was so clean and comfortable! The decor and furniture reflects a rare thoughtfulness and care by the owner. He was available and responded promptly. We loved everything! We floated, fished, kayaked, and relaxed.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property during our daughter's wedding weekend at Tanglewood. Jon was very communicative and flexible with our weekend needs. The home is located on a lake and is very serene. It easily accommodated 6 adults and was able to handle both our air conditioning and heating needs. The home is decorated in a very tasteful and comfortable manner. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property and highly recommend it. it is about 12 min from Lenox center and is well located to all activities in the area. Thank you, Jon, for a great stay!

The weather was cold and rainy but there are fun things to do at the house and in the nearby towns. The setting is perfect for some nice wildlife viewing.

We had such a fabulous time!!!! The house was immaculately clean. Jon was such a great concierge’s. 😊 The house was so easily accessible to the lake. We absolutely loved our stay!

Beautiful property overlooking Richmond pond with beautiful fall views. The house is immaculately kept with everything you could need. The host is a wonderfully accommodating gentleman who goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. We were a group of seven seniors who travel together and have had the opportunity to stay in numerous places and this is one of the best. Highly recommended.

Quiet lakeside home, centrally located in the Berkshires. Newly updated and very comfortable home was perfect for relaxing and day trips hiking, visiting orchards, wineries and the local towns. Jon was a great host, quick to answer questions and make sure our stay was perfect!

My husband and some family members stayed here during my daughter's wedding weekend at Camp Arrow Wood, directly across the lake. It was so wonderful to walk in to this immaculate, lovely home and to go out on the deck to look across the gorgeous lake and see the tent being set up in the distance! The house was just perfect for us including wonderful master bedroom on the ground floor (what is that comfortable mattress, I need one at home!), multiple bedrooms upstairs, everything so appealing. But what made our stay extra special was our interactions with Jon. When he heard why we were visiting, he immediately offered early access and late check out, checked in with us multiple times over the weekend to make sure we were comfortable, and even assured me there would be plenty of room in the empty freezer for my homemade wedding cake tiers! Our only regret was that we never found time to take one of the many kayaks / canoes out for a spin on the lake. Next visit for sure, and there will definitely be a next visit!! Lovely home, close to Tanglewood, but don’t let the distance fool you, 1hr and half with traffic! Lovely views of the “pond.” Some in the group took the kayaks across the pond. Some of us just hung and took in the view. Couldn’t get a reservation out for our group of eight, so had a surf and turf feast —— well stocked kitchen.

We were in Williamstown for graduation and stayed at Richmond Pond for the weekend. The house was exactly as described - beautiful farmhouse that was extensively remodeled inside. Kitchen had a gas stove, a big center island, and everything was new and clean. Same with all the bathrooms - all remodeled, new and very clean. The bedrooms were great, the mattresses were very comfortable, and the air conditioning was awesome (it was a very hot weekend). The outside deck opens right onto Richmond Pond and at one point, someone in a canoe said to us, "you guys have the best view of everyone on the pond". Which was true. Jon was a great host and made sure everything was good to go and was very clear in his communication. Excellent booking.

The house, location, and amenities were perfect for our family getaway. The scenery was exceptional - the view of the lake and mountains was so beautiful. Being able to kayak and canoe was perfect for our active family. It is an easy drive to local sites such as Tanglewood which we enjoyed as well. The house was beautiful inside and out The kitchen amenities were plentiful and the bedding was the most comfortable. I truly felt like we were staying at a family home - the quality of the home was notches above a usual rental. The owner was super nice and very helpful.

Great house, location & view!

Jon checked in with us a week prior, and met us at check-in for a personal walk-through ... much appreciated! The lake front location offers a combination of active and passive activities that suited everyone between 2 and 71. It is perfectly located between Great Barrington and Pittsfield to explore the Berkshires, and very accessible to Guido's!

Jon was a great host and the house worked out great for my extended family. My son had a blast fishing from the dock and we all enjoyed swimming, boating, and birdwatching on Richmond Pond.

The entire experience from booking to checkout was easy. The house is cozy and perfect for our reunion getaway. Our too brief relaxing time at Jon’s ideally located house on a lake/pond, the comfort of beds and furniture, the convenience to many activities along with his helpful suggestions made for an idyllic family vacation. Jon's house may be on Richmond "Pond" but it felt like a fantastic lakeside escape. The property is even more impressive in person, and the view is just spectacular. The house is spacious and incredibly clean, and we enjoyed many meals at the communal table or breakfast at the kitchen island. Highly recommend as a base to explore the Berkshires and Columbia County, NY.

Jon’s house on Richmond Pond is comfortable, well-equipped, well-stocked and easy to get to. It’s has a great spot on the pond, including being on the opposite side from where the railroad tracks are located. We would be delighted to stay there again.

The house was clean and well provisioned, with plenty of dishes, glasses, kitchen gadgets, and the beds were more comfortable than some hotel beds we’ve slept in. Jon was very attentive in his instructions and he really cared about whether we had everything we needed. The view of the lake was amazing, and between the dock and the available canoe and kayaks, we were able to thoroughly enjoy the water. Also, the open, airy common areas like the living room and the second-floor lounge made group gatherings easy and delightful. We highly recommend this beautiful home.

My son and I wanted to have a relaxing getaway to regroup after not seeing each other much due to Covid. This place was perfect! We each had our own space, between the lovely master suite and the loft like upstairs space. The location was lovely — literally steps from the lake, with an easy launch spot for the kayaks.
