Beautiful house so comfortable to sleep and have a great time. The owner tought about every single detail to make you feel comfortable. The only thing is you have to be ready to do some reading of all the instructions and rules for the house. Once you get that out of the way you’re ready to have the best time of your life.

This property was awesome! The home was very well organized, clean and very comfortable. The backyard was beautiful. The swimming pool was huge it also has a water slide that both kids and adults enjoyed.

The house and swimming pool were amazing. We loved that we were close by some places of interest, and the neighborhood was very quiet. My family really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this house.

This house was great for our family & friends. It was clean & very well stocked, kitchen & baths both. 2 washers & dryers was a bonus.The pool is very large, was the perfect temp,with lots of outdoor shaded space & a large patio. This house easily accommodated our group. The kids really liked the pirate themed room with 4 beds so they could all stay together. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the second year in a row we have stayed at this house. It is a great house to stay with kids. The pool is the best part it’s big and clean. The property also had a lot of improvements since our last stay and was a lot cleaner. We will come again!

This place was just a great house for us. We all enjoyed the pool and backyard. There were all kind of toys for the pool and the grandkids spent hours swimming. They loved the slide.
The house was extremely well stocked, everything from all kinds of kitchen appliances to spices, coffee and tea. We have never been in a place where we found everything we needed. My grandkids are already asking when we can come again.

First i would like to say the house is beautiful. However, this is what i encountered:
1-garbage disposal did not work
2- the hot tub kept tripping the breaker, the filters werent clean.
3-the slide for the pool didn't have water, but that was minimum.
I communicated all this to the owner on sat, her response was that she could not deal with it until monday.
Then that night, my nephew sees a mouse, we recorded on video and captured it. And you know it happens, a mouse might have come in, so i let it slide.
Then the next day. We are all in the living room, and we saw 4 coming out of this locked door (storage location).
So i communicated to the owner. She then went to apologize, cause i said i had an 1 year old that could get contaminated with something for a house to be infested with mice.
All Sunday and monday nothing happened to fix anything.
My last day there was when someone came to check on the mice, the cleaning person that didnt do her job right, and of course said that was nothing there. We had it on video. The garbage disposal guy came to change it, and the pool guy comes to clean the pool filters. Nothing on the spa. It was 230pm of my last day and things that shouldve been done prior to our check in wasnt done. It was unbelievable. There was no patience with me anymore.
Hope the next person finds it better, cause my stay was only good due to being with family, because i wasnt provided with what i payed for, not even the bare minimum of a non infested house.

This home was perfect for my family getaway! The kids loved the pirate/princess space while my adult kids lived by the pool. The BBQ area was perfect for our nightly dinners. This home had every thing we could have possibly needed. We would for sure rent this home again.

This home is great for a large group of adults and kids to experience Sandhollow reservoir State Park. The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, soaps, and seating. We especially enjoyed sitting outside in the cool fall evenings. The hottub was not usable as the filters were dirty and the water had stuff floating in it. I reached out to the owner and the pool company came to address the issue but it wasn’t cleared up in time for us to use it. We were all disappointed in that as we had rented this house because we wanted the hot tub.

We have come to this home for seven consecutive years. It is so convenient for us as we love the two reservoirs that are nearby. The pool is wonderful. The owner is so good to work with any concerns. We love this place.

We have stayed at this house twice. The first time was great the second time the pool was so unsanitary all children’s ended up in the ER with double ear infection. I immediately contacted the home owner about the condition of the pool. She assured us it was fine and sent someone out 2 days later. The pool guy said and I quote “this pool is so dirty I hope you didn’t swim in it”
The hot tub was only 1/4 the way full and the backyard had food and clothes left over from the previous renters. The kitchen had crumbs around the table and counter. The front door is tapped together. I messaged the homeowner about the concerns and she did not respond I then called her and she overtalked me refused to take any accountability for the conditions and hung the phone up. I then called VRBO directly and they said a dirty pool is a hazard and if we would have called them they would have immediately moved us to a new property. I wish I would have know that but have been renting with VRBO for years with no issues. I know the home owner will be commenting that this is some how my fault and their were no issues. Please if anyone wants the truth contact the city of Hurricane where a formal complaint has been filed with the health issue. I have Dr notes as well. My husband also came down with a skin infection cellulitis that he is on IV’s because it can kill you. Please read my reviews from renters as I always get and receive 5 stars. KEEP YOUR KIDS SAFE don’t go here

We’ve stayed here twice before. The home is spacious and has a fully stocked kitchen as far as dishes and most appliances.Big fridge with icemaker. Plenty of hot water. Double washer/dryer is nice. Extra pool towels provided is a nice option. Air conditioning works great. Master bedroom is really nice. Bed is very comfortable. Other bedrooms are spacious and the trundle beds are nice for smaller children who need to sleep by mom. Hot tub was a plus when kids get chilled while swimming. Nice neighborhood. Walmart very close by for delivery or pickup. Hurricane Golf Course is very nice from what my husband reported. We enjoy staying here because the little cousins can all sleep in the great room upstairs together. Pirate ship bed, boat bed with trundle, princess bed and Cinderella Coach beds are a hit. Cable tv with Dish. Owner is very nice to work with. Overall a great place to stay.

Our kids (and adults) had a blast at this house! The kids bedroom was so fun for the kids. The rest of the house was great as well. The beds were comfortable and there was room for everyone to gather together in the living room. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The only issue was the cleanliness. The floors were dirty when we got there and needed to be swept, mopped, and vacuumed. Overall, it was a great house and I would book it again.

Overall the house was great. It has very close access to sand Hollow state park and off roading. Anyone staying here for off roading should know that if you have more than one person trailering your RZR or Jeep, there is no street parking allowed for VRBO guests. Plenty of the neighbors are parking on the street but with a threat of a $250 fine for parking on the street, you should have a plan in place for other places to park. The host had no suggestions for additional parking areas. We had 3 people with trailers and UTV's plus 4 additional vehicles. We had a lot of fun figuring out the parking situation but did our best to follow the rules.
The house itself could use a little TLC but nothing major. All of the random hand written rules and instruction signs taped to the walls throughout the house were definitely tacky
The spa was dirty and slightly green, the pool was dirty and did not appear to have been cleaned on the scheduled Thursday before our check-in. The trash cans were so full when we got there that we had to keep most of the trash in the garage until the following Thursday.
This house could be five stars with a little more attention to detail.
All that being said, my family had a great time in Hurricane and most likely will be back.

We had 11 family members for our annual golf vacation. This home was perfect. We actually had extra beds! The home is stocked with all the necessities, and then some. The pool with the slide was a real selling point, and it didn’t disappoint. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The home is in a great location and is stoked with all the kitchen supplies you will need. When we checked in, the home had not been cleaned. The beds had not been made from the previous guests, dishes were in the dishwasher, and the bathrooms had obviously not been cleaned. Apparently, the cleaning crew had not come. Eventually, cleaners came to clean the home, but by the point we had cleaned some of the areas, done some laundry and started to make beds. Not something you expect to have to do when you pay so much to rent the property and pay a cleaning fee for a house that wasn't clean. The backyard was not in amazing shape. Pool cover was disgusting. There were garden hoses strung all over the backyard and the backyard furniture was strung all over the place. I don't know if the cleaners should be responsible for that mess as well, but once again not impressive. Overall, the house was nice and after we straightened up the backyard ourselves and the house finally got cleaned it was a decent stay. The owner said she was going to reach out to me and make up for the issues with the home not being clean, but never really heard back from her on what that actually meant. Would be nice to get refunded some of the cleaning fee, but I doubt I see it. I would probably stay at the house again, but I would definitely look for other options first.

The house was wonderful! Very well stocked. However the patio/backyard was a mess, the pool cover was filthy and the pump did not work until we had the pool tech come with a new pump.

The good:
The home was great for our group of 8 and could easily accommodate more. Nice living room and kitchen area for all to hang out. Good neighborhood, quiet. Very close to Sand Hollow Reservoir and Resort. House is VERY well stocked with more than enough plates, utensils, pots, pans, sugar, spices, towels, and enough soap, shampoos, and conditioners for years to come.
The not-so-good:
The property needs some overall TLC. Multiple smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms were chirping due to low batteries when we arrived. Garage door code did not work and garage door only opened half of the time. Front and entry was rough -- overgrown and drip irrigation lines leaking with pots overflowing and algae growing on walkway... But, the backyard was a mess. Hoses and extension cords stretched out and left across the patio. Kids toys and pool tools laying around. Cushions in the bushes and under pile of leaves. Broken pieces from hot tub brackets laying around. Stuff everywhere. The property needs a new yard crew.
The bad:
The neighbor's cat has taken up residence in the backyard. Always trying to sneak in the house. Will not go away. And, has made several of the chair cushions into beds as they are covered in cat hair. The cat is very friendly, but some in our party are allergic to cats, so we spent almost no time in the back patio area -- which is probably lovely when cleaned up.
Also, we communicated all issues to the owner who did not reply until our last day and seemed completely uninterested. Apparently the owner had been out of the country, and was then also in the hospital when they returned...(?) The owner's health is rightfully the priority, but the property needs some attention and renters deserve some consideration.
All of that said; we would stay again after the property got some TLC.

We had a great stay for the IRONMAN 70.3 race. The location was extremely convenient to Sand Hallow State Park and easy back and forth to St. George. The house was packed with everything we needed and more! Thanks Joyce!

This was our second stay at this home. First stay was great, this time not so much. We killed over 10 black widows in the backyard around the pool area and patios. Didn’t dare lounge or enjoy meals out there as they were out every evening. The pool cover did not work therefore the pool was dirty everyday. Contacted the owner and she sent over the pool maintenance guy. He mentioned to us that it had been broken for over a month. The carpet had popcorn in it and felt it hadn’t been cleaned too well. The yard was a mess. Junk in backyard and side of house. Broken old furniture lying around. The upstairs play area is a hazard to little ones. Broken pieces with sharp edges, nails, large staples etc. coming from the pirate ship bed and the large car track on the ground has staples sticking out of it that our toddler stepped on. Not pleased at all with the conditions of this home. Such a shame as our first experience was pleasant.

House is beautiful. Pool is nice and big. Had a few hiccups like no kitchen towels, a lot of bugs, outside not very clean, pool dirty and filters didn’t seem to be working, slide turned off everyday in the afternoon and didn’t turn back on until next day, pump for pool cover didn’t work. Few problems were solved by contact with owner which was disappointing. Beds are comfortable, kitchen a has everything you need to cook, a lot of space for eating together and hanging out together.

This is the second year we have rented this home for a family getaway for our children and grandchildren. Like our previous rental this was just as magical. It was raining when we arrived so the kids headed straight for the costume barrel. This is one touch I have never seen before and we have rented homes across the country. There is nothing lacking as this home comes completely stocked with everything you could possible need. Loads of towels...household supplies and bathroom supplies. We can't say enough about how comfortable we felt here. They were doing some work on the pools pump system while we were there but I was informed in advance this would be going on and it did not impede our use of the pool. This is an easy five star rating and would definitely rent this Hurricane Home again.

Tuacahn Adventure
My daughters and grandchildren always meet in St George every summer to attend a production at Tuacahn. We were so excited to find this home with the big pool and slide. The home was beautiful. The backyard was a great place to play. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The owners were very responsive to all of our needs. We had a blast!

Our trip consists of 9 adults and 7 kids and the house was spacious for all of us. As the listing goes, it is definitely a great place for large families to gather. Open concept area between the living room, kitchen, and dining to the wide open space of the foyer to the beautiful back yard. The kitchen was small but we were able to utilize it to the max. The pool and waterslide was endless fun for the kids. It kept them entertain the entirety of our stay. We had some mishaps at the beginning but once those were dealt with, the rest of the stay was relaxing and enjoyable. I would book this place again and definitely recommend it for large families.

Amazing place for a family get together
Joyce is great to work with, and the property is perfect for families, including their little pirates and princesses who will love the upstairs beds and the water slide to the pool. We had some issues with the pool and hot tub and ended up having to handle some things ourselves by working with Joyce but things worked out well for a great stay. If you want to have a place to just relax and enjoy with your kids. This is it.
