Great place to stay!

Great location with everything you need. Property owner was very responsive to questions which helped to make this a very enjoyable ski weekend.

We had a nice stay and was nice to be able to bring our dog, short enough drive to the slopes that I could hop in the truck and drop the crew off and pick them up quick when they wanted a break. Condo is right on the golf course so would love to come back when golf season gets here. Weather was perfect for the planned activities with fresh snow but didn’t think about how chemicals would be spread on the parking lot and walkways due to ice which made it difficult for our dog to walk on, something paw friendly would have been helpful but we managed. Just something for others to think about if bringing a pet in the winter. Comfortable and clean condo and fine for the four of us but would be tough if there had been more people. Seating was challenging in the living room for four adults as there was only a small two seater sofa (loveseat), small rocking chair and one other small chair but made do using chairs from the dining table. Would be nice to have more comfortable seating for all after a day of skiing/snowboarding. Everything was in good working order, heat worked well and was nice to have a fire in the fireplace. Purchased some fire starters from the little market to get the fire going well as the supplied firewood was very green, the little market has a little bit of everything which is nice! Was a nice place for a short stay and convenient to resort, market and restaurants. Host was pleasant and quick to respond when we contacted him.

We had a cozy stay for a ski weekend. The condo had everything we needed. It was a very cold weekend and the fireplace was very enjoyable.

This is an excellent and cozy space to stay on the mountain. Conveniently located near hiking trails, the lodge, and the store. Accommodates a family of 4 very well.

We are hoping to go back yet for a longer period of time. That’s how much we love our place and vacation

This property was perfect for the family and dog. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cooking necessities, plates, cups, silverware etc. My recommendation is to bring all the groceries you need for your stay because grocery stores are a 30+ minute drive. There are so many family attractions in that area of Va. We really enjoyed our trip.

The condo is in a beautiful location. It’s quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed being able to have the windows open all weekend and spent a good amount of time on the deck. Even though it is right on the golf course, it is very private due to the shrubs.

Unfortunately the condo above was being remodeled so it was constant banging 14 hours a day and everything was shut down had to travel 40 miles to get breakfast, bummer no activities

Great condo close to everything

We enjoyed our short 2 night vacation in the mountains. It was helpful that the condo is dog friendly and although it's on the second level, there is easy access to the backyard for potty breaks and a scenic pathway around the golf course behind the property. The living area is homey but could use an extra couch or love seat if your whole family wants to gather together. We had some issues with the internet not performing great if more than one device was connected, especially if you are streaming video. We didn't get the DirecTV to completely cooperate as there were some channels that would only have audio, and we never found a channel menu. The paper channel guide in the condo was not accurate, but that was probably for cable channels and not DirecTV. We were not there to sit around and watch TV all day, so it was not a big deal, and we had brought some movies! Well equipped kitchen (could use a pizza pan which we could not find). Nice balcony to sit outside and watch people/dogs along the path.

The condo was perfect for our snowboarding trip to wintergreen. We loved the location and fire. Great stay and the owners were wonderful to answer all questions.

Enjoyed our experience! You are right on the golf course and great place to bring your furry friends. This was our second time staying here and was very satisfied with our experience.

We encountered a little snafu during check in when I didn’t realize that check-in instructions were sent in a separate email than through VRBO. The location is very nice but the condo could use some updating. For instance, I was pretty emphatic about having access to high speed internet since my husband and I needed to work. When booking, the owner informed me not to worry because he just upgraded to very high speed Verizon service. We then noticed that the modem was hooked up to a phone line. We haven’t seen this since the 1990s. Needless to say, we were very unproductive at work for the 2 days of our stay. For the most part though, the owner was very nice and responsive which helped. As far as the resort, it’s a very nice area with gorgeous views and hiking options but not much was open due to Covid. I highly recommend that you stock-up on food for cooking before arriving because there are not many options or markets to shop.

The pictures were accurate of the property and it was a good place to have as a home base. Definitely want to spend your time outdoors.

My friend and I wanted a convenient, dog friendly place to stay to get some hiking in over the weekend, and this place was the perfect fit for us.we were able to walk out the door and grab a trail for a strenuous hike of the Wintergreen trails, and had quick access to the AT and BRP. The condo had everything we needed: pots and pans, dishware, coffee maker, wine glasses... There is one sofa in the living room, which was plenty for the two of us, but might be cozy with more people than that. The host was quick to respond to questions and the information sheet provided covered everything we needed to know. I will definitely rent here again.

My husband and I brought our black lab to enjoy a long weekend in the mountains and this condo was the perfect place to stay. We enjoyed daily hikes and trips to local breweries. The kitchen was well appointed so we made most of our meals "at home." We would definitely rent again.
