Charter Angeln, Golf, gute Restaurants und viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den gelegentlichen regnerischen Tag. Viele lokale Attraktionen zu besuchen, Lebkuchen Häuser, Hütte, älteste funktionierende carosel, Walking / Radwege und Naturschutzgebiete einen beschäftigt zu halten, während Sie das The Vineyard entspannte, lässige Art. Erster Stock Schlafzimmer hat Doppelbett, im Obergeschoss verfügt über den vollen Bett. Loft-Bereich verfügt über drei Einzelbetten. Everything about our stay was perfect. The house was extremely clean, more than enough room for all 6 of us, beautiful property all around. We’d recommend staying if you ever visit MV. John was extremely friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was super easy.

I think this was one of the best places we found in VRBO..
We initially was very skeptical about the place but when we reached the house it was wonderful, beautiful and very spacious..
John maintained the place very well..
He welcomed us warmly and explained us everything about the place..
Next time we go to Oak Bluff we will definitely try to stay at this place again.

The property and location were absolutely perfect for our needs. It was very spacious with plenty of sleeping and lounging options. We were pleasantly surprised by the high ceilings, outdoor shower, and deck. John was very good at communicating from the booking through our departure. We were able to walk from the property to all central OB destinations and were happy to return to this quiet spot off the beaten path. We hope to stay here on return trips to the Island.

It’s a very family friendly space. It’s not the most modern but the cost of staying in a house on MV is getting outlandish and for the value we didn’t care one bit. Owner was really friendly and not intrusive at all.

Our stay at this island home on Martha's Vineyard was fantastic. It had so many nice locations to sit, visit, read and enjoy the day. John was super easy to connect with and met us at the property to go over everything we might have needed. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with items you might need if you choose to make your own meal. I would highly recommend this property for a nice location to travel and tour Martha's Vineyard. It's location was very close to the areas we wanted to visit. Thank you for a great stay!

Everything was as described if not better. John was a great host and took care in showing us around the property and making sure we were comfortable and had everything needed for a perfect weekend stay. In my opinion, the property was better in person than in pictures. Great overall experience. Looking forward to the next opportunity to visit the island, knowing that a great property and host is awaiting.

We absolutely loved this house and our time in Oaks Bluff. John was fantastic to work with and made sure we were comfortable and settled in when we arrived. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe. We definitely plan to return someday!

Owner lives next door, so good accessibility. The house is close to center of Oak Bluffs. Neigborhood was quiet during our stay after Labor Day. Beds were comfortable. Only caution is the dirt roads going to house were heavily rutted with several deep potholes which were difficult to negotiate even at a slow speed. Vehicles beware! Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

Had a great visit. Loved the charming log cabin and found it easy to take the bus or walk (25 min) in to oak bluffs center.

We had a great Labor Day Weekend here (2023). The owners were very responsive and kind. The location is an easy bike into Oak Bluffs, but probably too far to walk. The house is actually more spacious and brighter than the online pictures indicate. There was laundry available in the basement and the air conditioning was nice on the one humid day we had.
Our family of four would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our time in this island home. It was quiet, clean, close to the top attractions, and it had all the amenities to make for an enjoyable time with family. Communication was great, and everything was smooth about our stay. Would definitely consider this home again in the future!

Tye host was very friendly and helpful- great guy. The house he built is a great design, log canin, but also the features like a sun room that are typical of the island. The AC cooled the house quickly.

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at this home in Oak Bluffs. Homeowner has done a wonderful job at making this home very comfortable... Our only suggestion would be to upgrade the bed upstairs.

John, our gracious host, met us as we arrived and showed us around. He was very helpful and kind to do that. We have a great short weekend on the Vineyard at his lovely home. Beautiful all season rooms to hang out in, plenty of space for our 4 person group (with sleeping for 7) and so close to Oak Bluffs (with a short car ride to Edgartown).

I'd say this place is even nicer than the photos show in the listing. It worked really well for our group staying there for a wedding--there's only one bathroom but the outdoor shower was really helpful with getting ready. Would recommend!

My friends and I were in town for a wedding and enjoyed being within walking distance (20 min) of Oak Bluffs. John is a great property owner and was very responsive to our questions and flexible with check-in time based on the ferry schedule. Appreciated a comfortable, homey spot with plenty of room for the 5 of us to relax in for the long weekend! Thanks again!

John’s house was just as described, and we highly recommend it. We had a great week exploring Martha’s Vineyard, and the house was a great home base for seeing different parts of the island. John was a great host and provided all the information we needed about the house.

John Gurney was a absolute pleasure to deal with! He demonstrated, and showed us all we needed to know about the house. The pictures on VRBO do not do this house justice! It is much nicer than the pics Indicate! All appliances worked perfectly. Plus, John is a golfer! How can he not be a good guy? We hope we can secure a week here again next summer!! Other than that, we loved the house. It is spacious and beautiful, with multiple spaces to hang out indoors, plus a big deck on which we enjoyed grilling and dining. The kitchen is well-stocked. John was quickly responsive to the few small issues that came up during out stay. The house is very conveniently located a short drive from the center of Oak Bluffs, with easy access to all parts of the island. This was my first visit to MV and I absolutely loved and and would love to come back. I would definitely rent this house again.

John was a welcoming host and gave us a thorough tour of the home. There were many amenities that you won’t always find like beach chairs. We appreciated several different rooms for sleeping with our group of 7. Would stay there again.

We love the location, close enough to everything but far enough away that you feel tucked away from the busy center of Oak Bluffs. Plenty of space for our family of 5 plus a friend. This was our second stay in Lagoon Heights. We loved it so much the first time, we decided to visit again. We love the location, close enough to everything but far enough away that you feel tucked away from the busy center of Oak Bluffs. Plenty of space for our family of 5 plus a friend.
