We had a blast!! The girls loved being able to access the beach and enjoy the volleyball net. The rooms and showers were impeccable and fit our team perfectly! Loved having two kitchens and the appliances and dish ware fit all of our needs. We will make this a yearly trip for our Gulf Shores tournament.

This is a beautiful property with everything one could ask for—spacious, very clean, two beautiful and well-equipped kitchens, nice bedding, plenty of bathrooms, a wonderful and large pool and outdoor kitchen and perfect placement on the beach. The owners are very timely in their communications. This is a perfect house for a group. I highly recommend it.

Had everything we needed. A couple of rocking chairs on each front porch would have been very nice as would another towel bar in each bathroom.

Our family stayed at Porter’s Mark over the 4th of July. The property is very nice and all that we hoped for based on the pictures. The private pool, outdoor grilling and eating area, and access to the beach is A+. The owners are very friendly and quick to respond to any requests. My only suggestion is more amenities readily accessible such as extra toilet paper, tissues, trash bags and pool/beach towels as a hotel would supply, especially since our family was coming in from all over the country, many of us flying, and could not bring those items with us. I would highly recommend this property as a vacation destination. Gulf Shores is beautiful and has great energy without being too busy. The home was impressive and a great place to bond as a family. Everyone had a wonderful time.

This house is absolutely beautiful!! Very clean and great accommodations. We had 22 in our group ranging from ages of 5-71. They had everything there to get your week started. There was toilet paper, a few pods for dishwasher and a few pods for laundry. We had also brought all that for our week stay. The walkway leading to the beach was really nice. And we really loved the pool!! We enjoyed the place so much that we really did not feel much need to venture out. Although when you did everything was close. Just a few minutes away. We cooked dinner almost every night of our week stay and we thought they had everything in the kitchen you would need. My only advice is to make sure you read everything on the refrigerator and counter that the owner leaves for instructions. Because we did not see the note about the city coming after dusk and removing everything on the beach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. And would love to go back!!

Let's just start off by saying I'm not one to leave a poor review. I don't like being "that" guy, but thought it necessary to leave an honest review for potential future guests. Good: Traveled to the beach with friends and family as a group of 24. The location and the home were great. Plenty of space, clean, and on the beach, so no complaints there. Bad: 1. The owner/host lives on the 3rd floor. This is the first time I've ever rented a VRBO where the owner lives in the property. Mark and his wife Kate were polite/friendly, but he was around and a member of my family saw his snooping through our trash on two separate occasions. 2. The hot water heater wasn't big enough to accommodate hot showers for everyone. I never personally experienced a cold shower, but some of my family mentioned that they had to take a cold shower sporadically. 3. Not nearly enough necessities for a stay. When we arrived, there wasn't any extra toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwashing detergent and only 1 laundry pod above each washer, which is meant to start a load of towels before checking out. Not a huge deal, but be prepared to go to the grocery store upon arrival to stock the home with basic supplies. 4. No rails in shower for handicap accessibility. We traveled with multiple generations of family and the showers didn't have hand rails, which I believe, was in the description. 5. The grill area needs a major updating. Probably the worst grill I've ever used. We cooked nightly, but a few of the knobs were seized and barely turned, and it appeared to have never been cleaned. It definitely looked like it was a nice area once upon a time, but definitely could use some love. 6. Two of the showers in the home gave us trouble. One leaked from the second floor bunk room into the tub below on the first floor. 7. Cameras in the pool area. I assume it's for liability reasons, but still not super comfortable with the lack of privacy. 8. Lack of kitchen supplies. Be prepared to run multiple loads of dishes per day. The home wasn't stocked for the amount of people the home claims it's capable of accommodating. Overall: Again, it was a great home as far as size and location. It was disappointing not having privacy from the owner and seeing him as often as we did. Also disappointing not having basic necessities and having to run to the store immediately to stock the home. Final verdict: Would look elsewhere when booking for next time.

We had a great time at Porters mark. We were only 13 persons, so everyone had a king bed except the two youngest, who shared one of the bunk rooms. It was cold, so we’re very glad we had the pool heated. Fantastic location in gulf Shores!.

When we arrived there were some issues on Christmas Day and the owners immediately responded and had someone at the house within 5 minutes!! Overall, we had a relaxing week, enjoying the pool, beach and outdoor spaces. This is the perfect place for a family reunion with lots of space for playing games, eating and just being together. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom which was so nice! Overall it was a great week and we would highly recommend this rental.

Had 31 family members ages 2 to 82 for 5 days to celebrate Thanksgiving and our 60th wedding anniversary. The condo slept 34 with plenty of space and lots of bathrooms. It was very well equipped with appliances, dishes, cookware, and other ammenities.

I've rented at least a dozen of these beach houses over the years. This house was put together by someone who knew what they were doing. The furniture was nice and did not feel cheap. The kitchen was well appointed with good quality kitchenware. The house had a great layout with private bathrooms for each bedroom. It is perfect for big groups. The pool was also a bit bigger than other places I've stayed. The owner popped by to introduce himself and was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Typically, at the end of the vacation the family says, "That was great. We should rent another house next year." This time they said, " That was great. We should rent THIS house next year!"

This was the perfect home for our family! We spent the majority of our time and cooked all our meals at the house. Loved having the two kitchens and the pool was perfect for adult swimming as well as an area for our 1-year old cousin. And especially loved that everyone had their own bathroom in addition to 1/2 baths for guests. The home was very clean. There were some minor signs of wear and tear but nothing that impacted our experience. We would definitely stay here again! Kate was an excellent hostess and incredibly responsive.

Loved this property, plenty of room for all, the pool is amazing as well as the walkway to the beach. Also lots of shaded seating and gas grill under the house next to the pool. Shallow shaded area of pool, perfect for our little ones. close to anything you might want to do, but just west enough to avoid the huge crowds.

Couldn't have asked for more; from the week or our hosts and accommodations. Also, location was one of the big highlights; proximity to beach, and the pool a wonderful compliment! The Porter's are super, and they were in town so we got to visit a few times as well! Super stay and memories from the trip will be numerous! Thanks!

The house is thoughtfully designed and was a perfect spot for our family reunion. Our family ranges from 4 months to 62- 13 adults and 16 kids. Everyone agreed that there was plenty of space to spread out as well as wonderful spaces large enough for all of us to gather in. It did come as a surprise to us that although the pictures of the place show 3 floors you are only actually renting the lower two, but it did not interfere with our experience. The pictures are accurate and the place is well maintained. Mitri, welcomed us to the home and responded quickly to any concern we had during the week. We would recommend this house to any group wanting a place to relax and connect.

We loved our stay!

We had a fabulous time staying in this property! Communication with the owners was very easy and the property manager checked in every day with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. The house was very clean when we arrived. Plenty of space for our very large family reunion! We loved having 2 floors so the young kids could go to sleep on one floor and the teenagers could still be loud until late on the other floor. It was also helpful having 2 complete kitchens, one per floor, as well as two sets of washers/dryers. Plenty of space to all sit together on the main floor with 2 full tables, bar chairs and a couple tabletops on the patio too! The pool was a nice addition as some of the littles preferred it over the beach. They had lots of pool loungers and picnic tables in the shade under the house. But the beach itself is lovely...volleyball nets set up for anyone to use and plenty of space to spread out without being all packed in like some beaches. We would definitely stay again!

The most perfect location in Gulf Shores! We had a group of 26 stay at this beautiful home. It was the perfect size, location, and amazing amenities for our group. The home owner is super responsive, and took care of the few minor concerns we had right away. The weather was very hot, so the pool and the VERY close beach access were ideal for all. Highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group!

This was a great place for our family to enjoy being together for a week. Facilities were excellent. The pool was great for all, but especially for our 5 year old and 11 month old great grand children!

Porter's Mark was awesome!! The house/property is beautiful! We rented this beach house for our daughter's wedding. It was perfect! We were able to house all of the wedding party as well as some close friends. All wedding functions were held at the house so that was great for everyone. Never had to leave....everything took place in one spot, with the exception of the many trips to Wal-Mart/Publix for things we forgot. There was plenty of room for our wedding guests as well as parking...we had about 45. The weather and beach were perfect! We could not have asked for anything better! Kate responded to any of my questions quickly! I would highly recommend this beach house for a wedding or just a vacation with a large family or guests. Thanks again Porter's Mark for allowing us to have our daughter's dream beach wedding!!

This house really is beautiful - so spacious, and they've really thought of everything. Communication was always super fast, and Kate was incredibly generous in working with us postponing two years due to Covid! When we had an issue with a window, I couldn't see believe how fast they were able to get repairmen out there. The pool is beautiful, and all the bedrooms are well appointed. There are just a couple things to be aware of, but none would keep me from staying there again. The house is actually quite close to the ones on either side, so their music was our music. Because Kate and her husband live on the top floor, you can definitely hear them walking around when they're home (which was only our last night). Also because it's probably on the top floor, there is no one big master suite that overlooks the water. There are, however, stunning views from the living areas on both floors, and all the bedrooms are all nice. The kids loved the bunk rooms! Also, the elevator was super helpful for loading and unloading. We had a wonderful time, and the hospitality was terrific.

Beautiful property and location. The hosts are genuinely helpful and very easy to communicate with. Will be back to rent any one of their well cared for properties!

My family visited to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary and the house was set up perfect for it. Very convenient to have 2 kitchen and living rooms. Beautiful views and great weather.

We had wonderful time at the beach house. Our family was so comfortable. We had plenty of room for everyone and separate bathrooms, which is a major plus! We absolutely plan on booking this property again in the future. We had a celebration of life for my amazing Dad that passed a year ago while staying at the property. It was such a blessing to enjoy my family in this beautiful home.

Great stay, well worth the money. The beach location/access was absolute perfection. The pool and surrounding area was wonderful. The house provided ample room for our family. Host was very responsive.
