Mom daughters trip, plenty of space, wonderfully equipped kitchen, comfy beds and really close to the hot springs resort and a cute town...highly recommend..host was very easily reached

Has all you need for a getaway in the mountains, while being close to town and a wedding venue. Large dining room, ample kitchen, 2 car garage + outside parking, separate game/TV room, and large upstairs bunk room made it perfect for our stay. Did not use the rear patio & grill. A nice add would be an outdoor fire pit on front patio overlooking stream where a hose is available (just in case), but understand the hesitancy with fires in this region.

We enjoyed our stay. Home was clean well appointed, ideally located and very comfortable for 5 senior citizens. We loved the mountain stream.

Beautiful home. Was perfect for our family get together. Even though we didn’t have children thought it was awesome the things they had for a family with children. Location was easy quick trip to town if needed anything. Phyllis was quick to respond when had questions before booking. Will definitely stay here again if come back to the area!!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this mountain retreat. The host was very good about communicating with us and was very pleasant. I would stay again.

The property owner was very helpful and made the process easy. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean. Having the toys and games for the younger kids was great. The reasons for a 4 star and not 5 was the following: 1. the absence of a tv room with comfortable seating, 2. the heating / cooling issue with the different areas, especially the upstairs being so hot, 3. the grass in the playground area needed to be cut down some, and 4. the house is very dark and interior lighting needs to be updated.

We absolutely loved our stay. The home was cozy, clean, well equipped and located central to all our sites. The home is within a mile to a grocery store. So really quick access for any forgotten items. We brought along two of our grandchildren, ages 8 and 9. They LOVED the playground on site. Our family loves to sit out at night and we really relaxed at the end of each day by sitting outdoors, drinking our coffee and listening to the creek nearby. We highly recommend anyone wanting a nice getaway to stay here. We loved it all!

The place was awesome, better than we expected. We even had bear outside the cabin one morning pretty exciting since we don’t have bears back home.

The house was pretty clean. Wished the kids treehouse area outside would have been mowed. The kids wanted to play but the grass was as tall as them so they were a little disappointed. They loved watching the trout in the creek. Plenty of room for everyone. I’m

The property was excellent. We had plenty of room and although we didn't have small kids, it would be great for them. The kitchen was the best stocked we've ever had at a vacation home. We would definitely recommend this property.

This cabin was so lovely and had everything we needed and more. The beautiful creekside home was clean, beds were comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone. There is a lovely hike behind the home that goes past the cemetery area and winds up with a great view of Idaho Springs. We had the trail to ourselves. The owner was super responsive. We had a great experience and already looking at our calendars for another visit.

Our family had a wonderful time in this house. There are lots of rooms and unexpected stairways that lead you to fun places. There are so many pictures and statues of animals, the grandkids and I went on an animal hunt to count how many we could find. The creek was beautiful to sit by. We had a lovely time!

We had a great stay. The house was spacious and clean, the neighborhood quiet and beautiful. About a four minute drive into Idaho Springs. We would definitely stay again.

The place was perfect for our family get-together, with lots of space. The kitchen is fully stocked and the home was completely decorated. Had a greattime, no complaints.

Phyllis was amazing and answered every question promptly. The property was absolutely perfect and could easily accommodate a lot more people. We will definitely be back in the summer with our family!

I have rented this house 4 different times. Lots of room, clean, very cozy.

Our stay was great! Plenty of room and privacy for all and close to the wedding venue. The only suggestion is brighter light bulbs in the downstairs bathrooms. I did my makeup in the car mirror.

Had an incredible stay at Phyllis' place. The home had more than enough space for our group of 8 adults. Great kitchen for cooking, multiple gathering spaces, and awesome location in Idaho Springs which gave us the mountain cabin feel without being 30 minutes from nowhere. We used it as our home base for trips to Mt. Evans, Red Rocks, and then the scenic train in Leadville. It couldn't have been a better spot. Definitely planning on coming back.

We celebrated our 50th anniversary with our children and three grandsons, and had a truly grand time! The house is extremely clean and well-appointed, and there are ample spaces, indoors and out, for all to play, or just relax.

Very nice property, located close to town

The property is such a nice place to stay. The location right on the river and tucked right in the forest is so relaxing! The cabin is very roomy inside. The kitchen is large and easy to work in. The front patio extends to the river. There is a bridge that goes across with a large area with a couple of play areas and tree fort. Super location to town. Ready access. There are some local trails and the cemetery is also beautiful to walk in. This is our second time staying here. Combination with Phyllis is very easy.

This house was perfectly located for our trip. Easy access to amenities in Idaho Springs, such as restaurants, bars, grocery stores and gas stations. Very easy access to Mt. Evans. And it was only a half hour away from places like Dillon Lake, Denver, and St. Mary's Glacier. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions prior to our trip. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kids loved the play area and the creek running through the front yard. We will definitely keep this house in mind the next time we head to the mountains.

This property was better than described and photographed! We loved our stay at this beautiful and spacious home. The creek in front was so relaxing to sit next to on the patio in the morning with coffee and in the evening to wind down. The kitchen had everything you needed for a larger group too. We all said we would like to bring our children and grand children here for a multi-generational family stay in the future. Great location, close to Idaho Springs and close to Mt Evans. Plenty of activities to do. The house had wonderful spaces for children, including a designated playroom for the preschoolers and an activity room for teens and adults upstairs with plenty of games and a Foosball table. There was a bridge that led to a adorable tree house in front of the home too. Adult spaces were plentiful and comfortable. The decor was a beautiful, mountain retreat. We would definitely stay here again. We went white water rafting with Clear Creek Rafting, highly recommend this company. Phyllis, your home was wonderful and your communication was outstanding. Thank you SO MUCH!!

This property has everything you need for any age. Beautiful cabin, lots of room and very clean. Very close to downtown Idaho Springs to shop, pan for gold, hike St.Mary’s Glacier or visit one of the great restaurants or brew pubs. Easy access to highway 70 to travel to Denver or the airport. Everyone in my family loved staying here for a nearby family reunion.

This wonderful family home is chock full of lovely spaces to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Super spacious and comfortable, the house has so many fun spaces for kids to play. Tge patio next to the river was just what we needed to unwind and soak up the mountain tranquility.
