A perfect home for my 40th birthday. This was the perfect home for our needs. Everybody having king beds and their own separate bedrooms but a nice common area to hang out. The home was spacious and had everything we needed. There was a loose toilet on the top floor and a leaking bathroom sink in the basement. It didn’t stop us from having a good time but it should be noted. Our only complaint was, we couldn’t get the code to work when we got there! And after a long drive that’s frustrating! There were also some dirty towels left from previous owners. However, the home met all of our needs and allowed go to make life long memories.

Great for Groups!
We stayed here, three different families, and it was great! The perfect amount of space for everyone to feel comfortable and relax yet enough room that the crying toddlers didn't wake each other up! the adults also had a great time at night inside and out without waking up the kiddos! Lots to do, great time was had by all!

The ski slopes were so close and we were able to go back and forth to warm up and have meals without spending at the lodge. We can't wait to go back!

We saw lots of deer and even a few bears on our daily walks. It was just a short drive to the lake, although public access was limited. We had a large group of adults and kids stay here and the house was great space for all! It was a quick drive to the boat rentals, ice cream, and grocery store.

We had a wonderful time with friends celebrating my wife’s birthday. The home was perfect for our large group of 15. The bedrooms were spacious as well as the kitchen, basement and family room. An added touch was the proximity to skiing. We literally were able to ski to our driveway when taking breaks from the mountain. One minor issue was our oven needed tended to, however Taylor Made was right on it, and had it fixed within an hour of our call. We will definitely be back. Both the home and Taylor Made were fabulous.

I found that Taylor Made was excellent to deal with from the beginning. Our place was very welcoming and clean. It was well equipt with all the necessities. We had an issue with a propane leak in one of the fireplaces and the service people were there within ten minutes. Problem solved quickly. The spa had a leak and when we called the maintenance person was there within 5 minutes or less. He talked to my son and refilled and did all the appropriate chemical treatments. I would definitely deal with Taylor-Made again. We visited Black Bear Tavern, Swallow Falls, saw the beautiful sunflower farm and really enjoyed the Mountain Brewery.

We spent a week with extended family in "Castle In the Sky." We loved having the space to spread out - a little one slept int he basement at nap time and night time, and grownups could still chat upstairs. We loved walking around in the neighborhood and saw several deer and other critters. McHenry and Oakland offer lots to do! We had a pontoon boat ride on the lake, and went hiking in Deep Creek Lake State Park and in Swallow Falls State Park. Unfortunately there were a few problems. The people before us left many greasy dishes in the cabinets. We had trouble with the refrigerator, and it was checked out a couple of times by maintenance team. Many of the bathtubs drained very slowly during showers. The cooking rack on the gas grill was so rusty we couldn't use the grill.

This house did not have the hot tub filled. We called the main number on the letterhead in black book and it rang busy constantly. I had to drive to main office and report this. Maintenance came and didn't fill it completely. The dryer kept stalling out and maint. had to be called in. Lastly, the WiFi was not working either. It is a beautiful house and we loved the kitchen and many gathering space. The maintenance/service issues we had were the disappointment here. Lastly, consider a recycling service in rental pkg. as we had to be out by 10AM and recycling center didn't open until noon.

The house was the perfect size for our group of 14 and honestly it could fit many more people. It was the perfect location to the ski slopes. My only negative would be the wifi. It kept dropping service or had poor connectivity. In the time when everyone wants to post on facebook, instagram and snapchat, a good solid wifi provider is a must.

hoME WAS CLEAN & ROOMS AS ADVERTISED. 4 MASTER BEDROOMS WITH A 5TH THAT HAS ACCESS TO HALL BATHROOM & THEN 2 OTHER ROOMS THAT HAVE FUTON TYPE BEDS--PLENTY OF ROOM! wE DIDNT' USE THE HOT TUB, SO i CAN'T SPEAK TO THAT. lOVED THE FRONT PORCH & CHAIRS & 2 SEATER SWING. IN SUMMER, THE "STUNNING LAKE VIEWS" ARE REALLY NOT THAT STUNNING. THERE ARE TREES ACROSS THE STREET THAT REALLY INTRUDE ON THE VIEW, BUT YOU CAN SEE A BIT OF THE LAKE THROUGH THE GAP BETWEEN THE TREES & HOUSES. I AM THINKING IN THE WINTER YOU CAN SEE MORE OF THE LAKE. WE REALLY ENJOYED THE HOUSE. There were a few small spider webs in the basement bedroom. not any real big deal. There was water damage in the ceiling living room /dining area.

This being my 7th trip to deep creek , the family was really looking forward to this home ( we rent a different home every time ) however its safe to say NEVER AGAIN . The Space of the home was fine however as stated in previous reviews , the home is really dated ( how in the heck can they not have wifi ) not to mention no blu ray players or up to date dvd players ( they are a very cheep now ). Also CONSIDERING most of my family was over 50 , those platform beds were HORRIBLE . I actually considered while there renting one of the townhomes so my older brothers and wife could get some sleep . Being that we rented during thanksgiving , dinner preparing was a challenge to say the least . IN CLOSING , this experience has us actually rethinking a trip back to deep creek .

Loved the space in the home. Lots of games and books although I brought my own. We did NOT enjoy all the Massive SPIDERS in the house. Cable was out for an entire day, upper level DVD PLAYER was skipping on every dvd. Basement dvd hardly played. My Verizon cell phone stayed on roaming. Please offer computer w/internet service or wifi connection in the near future for guest and please exterminate. The bathroom in basement was not clean so we did not use it.
