We had a great time! Everything was super clean and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying here. The beach was easily accessible and our kids enjoyed some time at the pool.

Short walk to the tiny downtown of Mexico Beach! Which was fun and great beach! Loved the view!

This unit was perfect for our family - 3 adults (parents, 1 grandparent) and 3 kiddos. It was in great condition and Roxanne was so easy to deal with and kind. The beds were comfortable and we were also comfortable temperature wise. I was hesitant about walking across the street but it really wasn’t that bad. I forgot how wonderful Mexico Beach is as it has been about 15 years since my last visit. Would stay here again if we make it back down!

Very nice and large condo. Plenty of space for our family of seven. Well stocked with kitchen ware, towels, and linens. Even starters for soap, dish soap and paper towels. Nice view of the beach from the large balcony. It was much quieter than our stays in Panama City Beach. Pool was not overcrowded and clean. Loved how clean everything was in the condo. My only complaint is there wasn’t an iron or ironing board. Most condos we have stayed in have this available. But the dryer worked good to get the wrinkles out!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the condo!!! The beds were super comfy, and the proximity to the beach was perfect! Owner was outstanding with communication, and all our expectation were met and exceeded. For a restful getaway from "typical" spring break, this place is hard to beat!!

Just wanted to make anyone looking at this property aware that it is on the highway (98) not on the beach. I mean it’s almost literally on the road. We were awaken to traffic every single morning by 6:30am. (Not my best idea of a vacation). Your balcony view is the road, a giant power pole, a construction site, then some of the ocean at a distance. No ocean sound, (without walking to the beach) only traffic. I mention this in review because I was duped into thinking it was on the beach by the creatively taken photos and the fact that I used the beachfront filter on VRBO. I’ll definitely be wary the next time. Again… the road and lack of a nice view in this unit is definitely a HUGE negative. With the price I paid… I didn’t expect a road view. Now for the positives! Beautifully decorated unit with everything you need. Nice owner and friendly neighbors in the condo building. A bayou style pond in the back (we saw an alligator in it) and reports of BEARS in the area (kids loved that part)… lol. The unit itself is nice, but in my opinion overpriced since it’s on top of the busy road. Just a note-Mexico Beach as a whole is a large construction zone these days, but the beach was still gorgeous. Pay a little more and get that beachfront place (that I thought I booked) , it puts the traffic and construction behind you and the beautiful part in front. Tip-Delicious food at the Shipwreck Bar and Grill!

Mexico Beach is a special little town and Summer House is a great place to stay while you are there. The beach is just a few steps away and the pool/hot tub are great!

If you’re looking for a laid back vibe with a small town feel then Mexico Beach is the place for you. Roxanne is a great property host.The beach & sunsets (right across Hwy 98) are amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

We love staying at Summerhouse, but this was our first time in this unit. This unit was beautiful and comfortable and convenient to everything. It is well stocked with the basics and working with the owner was seamless. We loved our stay.

The condo was exactly what we were looking for - quiet and relaxing. Close to the beach and no shopping. Wonderful!

Our family enjoyed our short stay at Summerhouse. It was convenient to the beach and was very comfortable.

Very easy walk to the beach. Condo was comfortable. Very spacious. Carts for unloading/loading were nice. (Neighbors were a bit noisy and the smoke from someone smoking on one of the balconies came onto our balcony regularly, but there is nothing a condo owner can do about those type things). Overall, if you are looking for a nice condo, this is a good one.

This was an amazing condo and we loved it.

This property was as described. It was clean, updated and modern, and right across from a beautiful stretch of white sand beach. Close enough to all conveniences. Would recommend to anyone looking to vacation in this area.

Large, clean, beautiful condo. Easy parking, quick easy access to the beach. We had a perfect family getaway to recharge before starting the new school year. I would absolutely book the condo again without hesitation. Side note about the area: there are very VERY few places that are close by to eat so if dining out is your thing, Mexico beach may not be right for you (right now, they are still rebuilding). Hit the grocery store in Panama city or Port st. Joe first and avoid being disappointed. This condo is well equipped to handle any meal preparation you may need.

Excellent place to stay. Easy access to the beach and unobstructed view of the water. The beds all were extremely comfortable and the place was decorated nicely. The host was quick to respond to all quesyions and I would definitely book this place again.

Great experience from beginning to end. For our family, the layout of the condo was perfect. Kitchen was nicely appointed with utensils, dishes, etc. Communication with the hostess was just like speaking with a friend. We so enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay last week at this property. We have been visiting Mexico beach for over 20 years. We were in Mexico beach a few days prior to hurricane Michael, before we were evacuated. This was our first trip back since 2017 and enjoyed every minute of it. This unit is very clean and newly renovated. The setup was perfect for our family. The complex has a large pool and has great access to the beach across the street. The complex is also conveniently located nearby a park with a playground, basketball court and tennis court. Thanks for opening up your place and allowing us to create memories.

The unit was excellent as was our host. There were, however, too many 'don'ts' we had to follow. The HOA needs to understand that it really doesn't encourage repeat business when guests are being spied on and turned in for something as simple as leaving beach items behind a vehicle between the vehicle and the wall. If that's the case they need to provide somewhere downstairs to store these items.

This unit was amazing! It was clean and had enough space for our group of 8 The owner responded quickly to our messages. She was always willing to answer our questions or help us with a request. Even though it is across the street , the beach is easily accessible. We would definitely recommend Unit 104 at SummerHouse.

Summerhouse is such an awesome place to stay. We have stayed there several times, always clean and just across the street from the beach. On your next visit to Mexico Beach try Summerhouse, you won't regret it.

Great condo, spacious and clean. Nice pool and hot tub, beach is right across road and is not busy. Not a lot of food options in town but 20 minutes either way will get you some. Overall recommend the space if you are looking for quiet and easy get away!

This condo is one of the nicest ones we’ve stayed in! It is beautifully decorated and feels like home. I was shocked at how big it is too. We had a great view from both sides. We really enjoyed this place and will be saving it because if we return to Mexico Beach, this will be where we want to stay!

My only complaint about our stay there was our communication with maintenance. Both of our screen doors were broken when we arrived. We couldn’t even open doors. After maintenance came they still remained broken. That is not my issue though. After meeting him he then approached my husband and daughter later while out walking re:Harding her ice coffee near hot tub. That was our mistake for not telling her that she can’t do that. He was very rude to them and sought them out. Our issue was literally every other person at the hot tub or pool had a beverage in the pool or hot tub! An older woman (I’m assuming an owner) smoked nonstop at pool and didn’t use an ashtray. They drank beer in the pool along with everyone else. We will not be back to that complex in the future. We have stayed there before without any issues . We left your condo immaculate and hope that helped you :-)
