We enjoyed our stay in the Pasadena area, will making day trips to LA, Santa Monica, Malibu. The home was clean and well stocked, and a good home base. There was nice outdoor space for the kids to play sidewalk chalk.

This was our first time in California and visiting the LA area. It was nice to have a place outside of the city to retreat to after a long day of exploring. It was the perfect space for three adults as we all had our own rooms that was a good distance away.
We loved having coffee on the patio outside with the beautiful landscaping in the backyard and the picturesque mountains in the background. All rules were super easy to follow and very clear. The property manager was very sweet and made sure we could communicate with her easily. An amazing stay and we would definitely love to stay again at the next opportunity!

Front Yard, Front Porch, Security System - Excellent, love the iron work and porch layout. We found a Tesla battery charging system on the driveway wall - did not try to use but good for you to know. Nice feature.
Front Room, Dining Room, TV, Seating, and Front Bedroom all Excellent.
Side Porch: Very nice feature off the dining room. Comfortable chairs. Use caution if you have small children or pets staying on this property. On our last night we watched a momma skunk and two kits walked by fence line. Love nature, but could have been an issue.
Second Bedroom: Nice size, bed comfortable. Biggest issue for us was the sky light in the center of the room. You cannot dim it or turn it off. It turns on at first dawn and runs very bright all day long and into the evening, So expect to rest in the spotlight
Master Bedroom, Kitchen, Laundry - all great. Would recommend opening windows if cooking, could not find a vent and bacon set off alarms.
Bathrooms: Spacious but the showers are confusing. Owner should put together instruction sheet for how to adjust the various heads/temp. Takes a few minutes to learn the various controls
Back Yard: Grill is clean. Issue for us is back was heavily covered in spider webs. Took 45m to clear, we ended up not using at all cuz they came back next morning.

The house was roomy and well equipped, with a beautiful backyard that allowed us to enjoy the sun. The neighborhood is quiet and centrally located to downtown Pasadena and Flintridge restaurants and stores. A large number of hiking trails into the foothills of the Angeles National Forest were around the corner from the house.

This was a last minute reservation. The property manager was very accommodating to our party of seniors on a short notice. There was enough room for the family members to gather and have privacy. The backyard was very private and quiet; you would not know you in the middle of a metro area. Everything was very clean and welcoming. We were prepping for a family event and the location made it easy for us to do all the necessary shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Oak Haven is everything you want in a vacation rental and more. The house is clean, the walls adorned with art works, the kitchen well stocked, the beds comfortable. The backyard is shaded by two grand oak trees. If you drive a Tesla you'll be pleased with the level 2 wall connector (40 amp) in the driveway. As well the property is steps away from a nature area, great for walking, exercising, and bird watching. The narrow residential street does get a lot of fast traffic, so pulling into and out of the driveway takes some getting used to. Last but not least, the property managers are very customer oriented and responsive. Highly recommended!

Loved it all! House is very comfortable, bedrooms are spacious. One bedroom has skylight so if you need a very dark room, use one of the other 2 bedrooms. Everything in the house has great quality . A lot of great details like the heated bathroom floor. Highly recommend!

Location is near downtown Pasadena & right by the rose bowl stadium which made it easy to drive to for a festival we attended. Rooms are all spread out and spacious. Would book again!

Fantastic bungalow!
Just a fantastic stay here - we were out to visit family and stayed here with our boy (4) and daughter (1). It was a great spot, and worked perfectly for the little ones as well! The house is gorgeous, and just the right balance of traditional Pasadena bungalow with modern touches. The backyard was great - had friends over a few times after the kids had gone to bed and was a great spot to hang out in the evenings, even with the slight April and May chill!

Loved the house and the property. Backyard is a beautiful place to hang out. Rooms were spacious and everything is decorated with a designers touch. The solar tubes in spare room should be covered bc very bright early in am.

The property was very well suited for our needs. The house was very clean and well kept and had an interesting array of eclectic artwork which added to the uniqueness of the property. Check in and check out were seamless and Kate, the property manager, was very helpful. The welcome basket was an extra bonus after a long day of travel!

Canyon trails just around the corner for walks and birding (apparently a popular mountain bike location but bikers are generally courteous about space). Lots of dog walking and parents strolling with kids. Didn't eat out much due to covid. Markets are close by. It was a welcome winter getaway for mom holiday
