Loved spending a few days enjoying the best mountain sunset views ever! Place was perfect for a mountain weekend getaway. Well stocked with clean linens. Be prepared to drive up some serious slopes to get to the goodness!

From my initial message with questions to the booking to communication and the actual stay and home it was perfect. Gail made everything extremely easy and simple. All questions were already answered before thinking of them. The house is stunning and the view truly breathtaking. We felt like we were up in a treetop home overlooking vistas we hadn’t seen before. The home is so comfortable and every detail is met. The decor is welcoming and just what you would want for a mountain home. It is in the best location between Dillard Ga and Highlands NC. It is stocked with anything you could possibly need. I can not say enough good things about our stay here. I highly recommend booking with Gail and her exceptional property. You won’t be disappointed.

While this property is all about the view, it's also well kept and comfortable for the whole family. The owner even puts up a Christmas tree and decorations!

Our last minute short trip to the Million Dollar View Home in Sky Valley was absolutely fantastic. The home is very well furnished, was very clean when we arrived, the kitchen is well stocked and has everything one would need to make your meals. But, what makes this outstanding is the view. No words can describe the unobstructed view from the balcony. When we arrived around 30 minutes before sunset, it seemed like the sun was inside the house. Gail was so easy to work with and extremely responsive to any questions we had. The road up to the home is paved all the way, but, is extremely steep. We even had the pleasure of seeing a deer one evening on the way up to the home. Dillard is under 15 minutes, Clayton around 20 minutes or so and same for Highland. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely come back and stay there.

We so enjoyed our stay! Kitchen had everything we needed and the view/decks were incredible. Just be prepared to encounter a steep drive with sharp turns to get to the home - nothing unmanageable, just not typical outside the mountains. Thank you!

We were in the mountains to attend a wedding. This house gave a small group of us a place to relax between events, - the view is indeed spectacular, the house was very comfortable. All in all, perfect for our needs!

We were blown away by the view and the house- what a great location for exploring Highlands, NC and northern GA. We loved the Sky Valley pool and still got away for tubing/ziplining in Helen, GA. Enjoyed great meals at local restaurants and nearby Julep Farms. The house was perfect for relaxing, reading, and just being together. Posted one picture of the view and all our friends want to come down!

We absolutely loved our stay at Gail's well appointed home! We spent most of our time on the covered deck in the great rocking chairs admiring the gorgeous view. It was fun to see the fog fade from the mountains to discover a beautiful view for the day. We especially enjoyed the evening at sunset witnessing a burst of color. Intermittent soft rain showers in the late afternoon provided a lovely sound to enjoy,too. We went on casual hikes nearby and found a little waterfall. We ate at Fortify, picked out personalized loaded, sinful donuts at Farm House Donuts at and shopped in the cute shops in Clayton, GA. We also spent an afternoon strolling through the many lovely shops in Highlands and eating dinner at Paoletti's for delicious Italian food. I recommend eating dinner early in time to make it home for the sunset show in the summer around 8:30pm. Gail's home had plenty off kitchenware and a great laundry room. The beds were comfortable, loads of hot water and plenty of towels. Gail was a pleasure to speak with and answered all of my questions promptly. We hope to come back to Million Dollar View...a beautiful spot to create memories!

The house was truly amazing and the views of the mountains were breathtaking. I looked forward to drinking my coffee on the deck every morning and loved watching the sunset each night. My family of 5 was very comfortable during our stay and the house had everything we needed. The location was perfect for hiking and exploring the surrounding area. We also loved all the local restaurants and enjoyed trying a different place each night for dinner. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. We would highly recommend this house. It was a great place to escape for week.

This property is the perfect mountain getaway, and the view from the back porch is incredible. The property is clean, well-stocked, spacious, and comfortable. Check-in and check-out are extremely easy. I highly recommend this property!

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We felt very comfortable here and it was in a great area. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals and the master bed is pretty comfortable. 2 minor things I will point out - One night there was very heavy winds and apparently the inner latches on all French doors were not secured properly. At 6am one of them blew wide open and scared the daylights out of us. Also, we did not have any other hot water running when filling the jacuzzi tub and still only got about 1/2 way before water turned cold. Property manager/owner (not sure who she is) was extremely nice and responsive when we had questions. We would stay again, probably would be beautiful in the snow!

The property was just as described and Gail was great. The view from the porch is stunning. Would definitely stay again.

This home was beyond amazing. The home itself was beautiful as pictured, and the views were more than we imagined. Our time spent there was unlike no other, since the day of our arrival we had a message from the owner that the hurricane from Louisiana had come through the area the night before. It had put out all the power in Northern Georgia. So we had the option of rescheduling, however after seeing the home with the views front and back, we could not leave. We were able to use the gas fireplace, gas grill, candles, and flashlights. North Carolina was only several miles away for ice, and groceries. As in the photos the back porch is very large, along with a private master bedroom porch which both had the amazing mountain views, and sunsets. The front of the house gave us views and the "Full Moon" rising over the other mountains. The home was very private and peaceful, and a paved road all the way... The electric finally came back on our last night before leaving. All during our stay the owner was in constant contact and extremely helpful. We look forward to coming back soon.

This house was more beautiful than even the pictures on Vrbo. The layout and decor were absolutely beautiful. We had everything we needed and more. The best part was the Mountain View that could be seen throughout the house. Even in the master bathroom you could see the mountains in the mirrors while brushing your teeth😊.we practically lived on that back porch.

We had a lovely stay at the "Million Dollar View" house. The view from the deck was breathtaking! My husband and I were in Sky Valley for a wedding and we were visiting other relatives who were saying at various rentals in Sky Valley and this house had the best view by far. Inside the house was clean and nicely decorated. I loved that it was all one level, especially because I have small children. The hostess was very communicative and helpful. My children really enjoyed playing on the deck and playing the basketball game in the garage. They are already asking "when can we go back to the mountain house?" It was a great weekend and I hope we can visit again soon!

We had all the necessary amenities for a pleasurable experience. Beautiful view!!!

Our stay was wonderful and Gail, the owner, was very helpful! My kids are younger so I wouldn’t recommend this house for young kids but it would be perfect for a couples getaway.

Million dollar view, great June weather and cute mountain towns near by made this location perfect!

Overall enjoyed our stay but not without some issues: Pros- * Beautiful views (even if it rained both night we were there). * All one level * Air worked well * Beds "OK!" CONS- * If you are interested in taking a bath... you will run out of hot water. Note... I hardly EVER take a bath at a rental home but we are in the process of renovating and haven't had a working bath on our main level so I really wanted one after some long hikes. The water MAY have made it 1/2 way up the tub.... I'm thinking closer to a 1/3rd before turning cold * The place didn't live up to my cleanliness standards. There were hairs on the sheets (major pet peeve of mine) and the bed frame shelves by your head were caked with dust. So much so that I decided to clean them myself. * It's been 13 days and we don't have our deposit back. I wrote 2 days ago and haven 't received a response. It says it will be automatically refunded in 7 days but I haven't' heard from anyone. Overall a cute little place. I would go back, but not for the price.

Beautiful views, comfortable furniture, clean house....this property had it all. We love our time there and will definitely rent again!
