Beautiful location near top of hill overlooking Pacific Santa Teresa beach with a wonderful staff.

Food was magnificent! The room and view was out of this world! The staff was so helpful and friendly. The small town is right down the mountain from the resort and is quaint with choices for good beach-front dining.

This is at the ocean. It is far from the main Costa Rica attractions, such as volcanos. So it is best to split your vacation between the two areas, depending on what you want.

The Villa is amazing - the view is breathtaking, the staff at the bar (Giulia) is so nice and it just feels like a big family. The resort is in nature which is lovely. We also did yoga classes that were included in our stay which is great.

It's not a negative thing but the road to the resort is very steap and narrow so I strongly recommend renting an ATV while you stay there.

Absolutely everything. An incredible accommodation in an even more incredible location. But I go in order. Location: on top of a hill, on the very edge, with a spectacular view of the ocean and the town. The room is huge, designer decorated, with glass walls and a large terrace (from which you will not leave). (there is also a jacuzzi). All kitchen appliances, large TV with Netflix (I doubt you'll need it near this view). The bathroom is in style (also a view of the ocean and the place) large and brutally clean. Staff: fantastic. They will make sure you feel fantastic. Food: Great (some reviews write that the breakfast is less good and small) - I DISAGREE. For breakfast, you have exactly the choice you need, in large quantities and all with the highest quality products. (included, coffee, natural juice, sweets, bread, spreads and coffee) - and they let you choose where you will eat - breakfast in the room on the terrace is indescribable.

Service. We had a car accident and despite our best efforts, we could not physically get to the hotel. Yet we were charged full price, and the manager/owner didn’t respond to multiple requests for a refund given our situation.

Vista del Alma was a wonderful place to stay! Everything exceeded expectations from the location, room, views, and food. All of the staff we interacted with were wonderful to deal with and made you feel so welcome!

I don't have anything to say for what we didn't like. Every part of our stay with Vista del Alma was wonderful. Power was lost for the entire town for one night and not Vista del Alma's fault. Staff was very helpful, made sure we had a battery powered light and plenty of water.
