The house was lovely and the hosts were outstanding. The house was extremely clean and well taken care of. Our family had a fantastic vacation!

This was our third year and enjoy it every year! Great property with plenty of room and a dock for our boat. The kids love the ping pong table. The owners are great!

Excellent property

This family vacation was all we had hoped for. The property was beautiful, so clean, neat and comfortable. The host was available anytime we had any questions. He responded almost instantly. We loved boating on the beautiful lake and loved the ping pong table. It was a great family vacation and I cannot Wait to return. I have already requested to return next year.

Everything was perfect. We enjoyed everything about are stay. The cottage was clean, neat and great for 6 of us. We love the porch and deck.

Our second year here and we love it!

This property was everything we were looking for and more! The house was immaculate, the yard is very well taken care of, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the owners even left items to make smores, how thoughtful! There is a short walk down the hill to the lake, but we liked this as we have small children. There is a new dock with Adirondack chairs (very relaxing) and a floating dock for the kids to swim to and jump off, so fun! My favorite was the sun porch where I would have my coffee in the morning and gaze at the lake. We met the owner Peter upon arrival, he was very nice, and stays close in case you need anything. Can't thank him enough, we had a wonderful time!

The perfect property for a comfortable and relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful stay here during the Fryeburg Fair. Since we were working my booths there we just needed a place to lay our heads at night. The place was very clean and the host was very accommodating. We would of loved to enjoy the fire pit, but with all the hours working we had no time- looks wonderful. Thank you for a great stay!

This cottage was perfect on Long Lake! It was very clean, the kitchen was fully stocked, had a washer & dryer, and spacious for our family of 4. The ping pong table was a big hit with my kids and the dock was perfect for our boat. I really liked when I went for a swim off the dock that it had a sandy bottom. We met the owner Peter and he was very nice and he even left us s’mores for the fire. Although it was too hot for a fire, we really appreciated the gift. We will definitely rent this place again! Thank you Peter!

Property owner was great!!

This cottage was exactly as advertised. It was clean, spacious, well stocked and comfortable. The dock and swimming area were perfect (sadly, the weather wasn't!). The owners were easy to work with and cared that our experience in their cottage was a good one. We would definitely rent this cottage again.

Wonderful cottage on a beautiful lake. Great time with family. We saw eagles for the first time this year. We certainly hope to come back next year.

We had a great week renting this beautiful cottage. Thank goodness for the air conditioners in the bedrooms and the lake as we had sweltering temps all week. Couldn’t have asked for a better time!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Peter and Kathy's lake house (or, as we say in Maine, their camp). The house was extremely clean, well decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Peter and Kathy were exceptional hosts who thought of everything a family might need for a week at the lake, including things like extra laundry detergent, toilet paper, wood for the fire pit, board games and puzzles, kayaks, etc. There were even extra touches like being welcomed with a bottle of wine and all the fixings needed to make s'mores. The private dock was a one minute walk (and the distance was actually great because we didn't have to worry about our two young boys wandering down there on their own). The screened-in front porch was perfect for early morning coffee, family meals and games. The shed with the ping pong table provided a ton of entertainment, the adirondack chairs, kayaks and the floating raft were great additions to the dock, and the fire pit was the perfect way to close out each day. The lake was clean and the views from the dock were spectacular. My three year old announced one morning as we were walking down to the dock to swim, "the air here is beautiful and smells soo good." The house is less than a ten minute drive to the grocery store, and only about a two minute drive to downtown Naples where there is lots of fun stuff to do- we got ice cream, played mini golf, flew in a seaplane and road on the Songo River Queen just to name a few. There was also a great nature trail less than 10 minutes up the road. The only thing we really missed was having a full sized tub. It was a chore to convince our two and three year olds to take showers every night when they are used to baths. But, we all survived, and it certainly would not deter us from renting this gem again in the future.

For those looking for a great lake vacation, this cottage has it all. The owners have made this a cozy spot with everything you'll need. Fire pit -- check. Well-equipped kitchen -- check. Ping-pong..corn hole--check and check. Beautiful dock with adirondack chairs and a swim raft -- it's right there. The cottage was immaculately clean and lovingly decorated. Beds were comfy. You can tell the owners just want you to be able to relax and enjoy. They were very responsive throughout the booking and check in process. When they realized that we forgot something, they called and offered to send it to us. (Thankfully, we were still close by so we were able to turn around to to pick it up). Stores, restaurants, mini-golf and hiking trails all close by too.
