This home was perfect for our family vacation. Everything we needed was there to have a fabulous time. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our group, BBQ and just sit and enjoy the back deck. The decorating and furnishings are beautiful and the beds were very comfortable.

Perfect house for family gatherings with four large bedrooms, three and one half bathrooms and bunk beds for the grandkids. The house is well maintained and the air conditioning worked flawessly in the 100+ degree weather. Lots of bikes in good condition were great for early morning long bike rides on the river loop. We have rented many times in Sunriver over the years, and this house was the best so far. We had a great time celebrating daughter and grandkids July birthdays.

Wonderful vacation home in a great, Sunriver location. It has 2 en-suites with King beds. Also, it was nice having 2 sets of bunks with both having queen beds on the bottom.
House was fairly well stocked. It was nice having smart tvs with access to various tv apps. It would have been nice to have fans in each room, though. Also, it had a keurig, but only a small, single-serve one.
We had a great time and would love to rent it again sometime. :)

The house was perfect for our family of ten and close to all the amenities of Sunriver and the two bigger family events in Bend and LaPine. Our host graciously allowed us entry earlier than check-in which was very much appreciated. The interior is clean, plenty of space and the beds were all comfortable. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, towels to go around. We weren't familiar with ROKU and had to ask for help in getting the tv's to work which our hosts jumped on to guide us through. The SHARC (Plus) passes worked great and the spa and ping-pong table provided at-home fun on the cold weekend. The baby stroller and high chair were nice to have. There were only two smaller bikes that our three older grandsons (6,8,9) could ride.
The only other issues we had was that thick pollen had gathered on the porch and deck which the neighbors offered us to use their blower to remove. Not sure if the black button by the stovetop was for a fan (while cooking) but it did not work. We left a kitchen wash towel and sponge for manually cleaning dishes.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and feel this was one of the best houses we have rented through VRBO.

Great time with extended family! Room for everyone and nice having the connected bathrooms. Kids loved the Sharc and the playground is close enough to walk or ride their little bikes.

Big house, plenty of room for our big family. Just wish the fireplaces had worked. One wouldn’t even turn on and the other had a constant error and put out no heat. Didn’t contact as some of us had colds and didn’t want to share that plus with the holiday weekend didn’t think much would be done. The online listing said wood stove also but there isn’t one. Also would have been nice to know there was a car in the garage and we could not park in there. Luckily we were able to fit all vehicles in the driveway.
One note—sleds or tubes provided would be nice or something saying you’ll need to bring your own because they aren’t provided at the tubing hill that we didn’t know is no longer run by anyone. We didn’t realize that until we wanted to go sledding.
The snowfall was beautiful, lots of squirrels to watch, nicely maintained paths to walk, got some use out of the hot tub.

This house worked perfectly for my husband and I and our two sons and their families. There was plenty of room to spread out, and we appreciated the amenities provided: SHARC passes, bicycles, ping pong table and hot tub. Our only issue was the refrigerator was not working when we arrived, but the owners responded quickly and arrived the next day with another refrigerator which we used in the garage until the kitchen frig defrosted. They were apologetic and provided a credit on our bill which we very much appreciated. The house is conveniently located to biking trails and the north grocery store/gas station. We took a short day trip down to see Crater Lake, and were pleasantly surprised at what an easy drive it was. Definitely worth the visit! I highly recommend this lovely home for your vacation in Sunriver. It’s even nicer in person than it shows in the pictures.

The house was just as presented online with a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of beds and extra bedding, room for a large family with its two living spaces, plus many bikes to pick from in the garage. The house is located in a quiet section of Sunriver but only a bike ride away from all the fun activities. The SHARC passes saved us so much money and the grandkids had a blast!! I can’t wait to return in the future!!

We very much enjoyed our stay, and our communications with Kathryn. The house felt new, and was cool during the hottest days. I really appreciated the number of bikes, which allowed for a great evening convoy on the paths in the area.

The house was gorgeous. Very clean. They didn’t miss a thing. Furnished with everything you can think of. Host communication was a 10 out of 10. Spoke to them on the phone and they couldn’t have been more kind or more accommodating. My family had a great time and we will definitely look for this house next summer when we return.

We really enjoyed this property for our family vacation. Coffee on the deck, cooking in the kitchen and endless paths for bike riding. The hot tub was giant and enjoyable after a day of activities. Thank you for sharing your home. We will be back.

We rented this house for our kids and grandkids as a Christmas gift. The house is beautiful and perfect for a family. Each room is so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needs to make an amazing prime rib dinner for Christmas. The owners were very quick to respond to our questions (we couldn’t light the fireplace) but they walked us through and even called my husband to make sure we got it on. I highly recommend this amazing place. Thank you for making our Christmas wonderful!

My family would love to return here because of the layout, space. We had two suites so my daughter and husband had one with the three children close by. So nice to do the wash of running clothes daily and towels…very perfect! We used the bikes, the Wi-Fi, the Sharc passes.. it was clean, neat, and tidy with and open kitchen, great furniture…..great location..

With two master bedrooms, 24 Hickory is a great place for two families to stay. The home is spacious and easily accommodated our group (two families each consisting of two adults and two children). The kids loved the bikes, hot tub, ping pong table, and the pool. The hime was clean, and the beds were comfortable.

This home was perfect for our two families of 4! Home was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It was super warm during our stay, and the AC kept the house nice and cool. All 4 adults enjoyed the bikes at the home, as well as the hot tub and ping pong table. We would definitely recommend this home.

Back to Sunriver
My family always loved coming to Sun River when our two children were young but have not been back for 15 years.
We decided to return and were so pleased that Sun River has remained a wonderful family escape.
Kathryn’s home provided the perfect base for my husband and I, our two adult children, their spouses and our 4 year old grandchild.
Though we brought our own, bikes are provided and the 10 Sharc passes were well utilized. The home is clean and well stocked with all the amenities that are needed to cook and have fun. We appreciated the helpfulness of the owners and their quick reply to any questions.
I would certainly recommend this home and look forward to returning.

We would definitely recommend this property and stay again. The house was lovely, very clean, with a well equipped kitchen and a quiet location. We enjoyed the nice selection of bikes provided. Kathleen, the property owner was quick to respond to us. Oh and nice wall art!

Great vacation rental
This vacation home worked well for us, a group of 4 adults and 4 kids. The location was superb indeed, the home had all amenities we needed and the host was accessible. A malfunctioned electronic lock affected our access to the property however was promptly resolved. Thank you Kathryn, we’ll visit again!

A great house
We had a really wonderful stay in Sunriver. The house was very clean and spacious. There were many details which we appreciated - plenty of towels for the hot tub, cleaning materials and toiletries in the bathrooms. The house is located well for skiing at Mount Bachelor and exploring Bend. The little village of Sunriver has some cute shops, a good breakfast place and a great brewery. I would highly recommend this property. The owners were very communicative and easy to deal with.

2021 Gram Family Christmas experience
It was a beutiful white Christmas. The house was wonderful. The family enjoyed ice skating, inner tubing, snow boarding, sking and more. We all had a great time.

The house was great, as was communication with the owners. There’s a lot of room, very nice and well stocked kitchen and nice patio and BBQ. Easy short drive to golf, quiet area, everything we needed. Had a great long weekend!

Something for everyone 🙂
Communication with Kathryn and Don was terrific. Easily accessible by phone for quick response time. Hot tub and ping pong table were big hits with everyone; SHARC facility, despite limited sessions due to COVID, was fun; biking and hiking opportunities everywhere- and Kathryn had 7 bikes for us. Sadly, there were only three helmets, but there were 4 of us who had brought our own bikes and helmets. 4 of our group enjoyed two of the many golf courses in Sunriver and just outside the resort. We went horseback riding and experienced an incredible evening at the observatory and the shopping and restaurants are very good. A trip to Lava Land was interesting and beautiful. Lava caves were already closed for the season and the water level was so low it caused a float trip cancellation. Oh well, two more reasons to come back! All in all, a great family vacation!

Truly a wonderful Home Away!
This fantastic home is stocked with everything you need to feel right at home while away on vacation, the beds are very comfortable, plenty of towels and linens and kitchen had just about everything! I just brought my own must haves; an air fryer and salad spinner. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, bike riding all around the resort and out to Benham Falls (plenty of bikes in the garage) horseback riding and paddle boarding on the river, fun for everyone! Thank you for offering your beautifully decorated home for other families to enjoy a vacation in Sunriver!
