We were passing through Salida on a holiday road-trip with our two Bernedoodles, and this was the absolute perfect place for us! The yard is everyting you could need, the chiminea was pre-loaded (such a nice touch!), the outdoor lighting set a perfect mood, and the pet supplies (water and food bowls, toys, poop-bags) were plentiful! And Jamie was a delight to work with. 100% recommend, especially for pet owners!

This property worked perfectly for my husband and me and our two dogs. The entire yard is fenced, front to back, giving pets free range. And the host added lots of special touches inside for the furbabies too. Very charming property. We would definitely book again.

The dogs had a fantastic time. it is a perfect place for dogs! The Arkansas river was too high to fly fish! and we could not find a point of entry easily. The Dog park is further away then we expected but all in all it was a pleasant stay. We will probably go back when the River is not so high and fast! Jaime was a great person to talk with & her help was invaluable!

This place is great, especially if you travel with your dog. Some places tolerate dogs but places like this really welcome them. Lots of little things that dog owners appreciate.
Overall the house is a bit bigger and nicer than even the pictures show. The kitchen is efficient and had everything I needed, cooking every day. The entire yard is securely fenced. Modern bath and kitchen and a fairly spacious bedroom. TV and streaming were ample and I did work using the internet with no issues.
Salida is great and this place is about a 12 min walk to the downtown heart or quick drive.

Just had a terrific visit to Salida with our dogs. The yard made it easy for the pups for feel at home and I was less than 10 minutes away from the trails with my bike. I enjoyed sampling some of the local breweries and we got out for a hike alone the Colorado Trail. Thanks for making a quick getaway so comfortable and easy!

My hoomans and I love it here! Jamie has everything a dog could want and I love the fenced in yard! My mom and dad love the comfortable, cozy (but roomy) cabin. My mom was outside every day staring at the mountains in awe. BUT, there are the biggest squirrels you have ever seen and some have antlers!!

Cute little cottage
Jaime's double A-frame was a wonderful place to stay for our visit to Salida. Close to downtown and to the highway so access was easy. Jaime was very attentive and easy to communicate with. The cottage was clean and decorate very cute. We could tell Jaime loves dogs, there were treats, toys, and a fenced yard for them to run in. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice, clean pet friendly stay! Fenced in yard for our pup was handy! Property manager was very quick to respond to our questions. Was disappointed that the property was on a fairly busy road without a sidewalk, which was not the best for walking the dog.

Spent 2 nights including our Bassett hound. The fenced yard was perfect for the dog. Even had treats and bowls available. Easy to get to. So much more comfortable than hotel. Fast internet. Had more amenities than expected... Coffee, cream, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Jamie was a wonderful host. Would stay here again.

My husband, dog, and I were so comfortable in this property. The fenced yard was awesome for letting our dog off-leash while we drank coffee. The location was convenient to the Riverside Park for longer walks as well as to restaurants. Jamie was very responsive and patient with all my questions. Hope to return!
