Lovely 1920's Farmhouse - Family And Pet Friendly
2 Schlafzimmer mit Queen-Matratzen und ein kleineres Schlafzimmer mit einem vollen. Voll ausgestattete Küche mit allen üblichen Notwendigkeiten. Komplettes Badezimmer mit Badewanne mit Löwenfüßen und separater Dusche. Entspannen Sie auf dem Achterdeck mit Blick auf den Garten oder auf dem Seitendeck mit Blick auf den Obstgarten. Reichlich Parkplätze, auch für ein Wohnmobil. Etwas mehr als 400 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel haben wir viel mehr Sonne als in der Stadt Mendocino. An einem typischen Tag kann es 10-15 Grad wärmer sein. Gleich die Straße runter gibt es viele tolle Strände, Restaurants, Geschäfte und Spas. 16 km nördlich liegt Fort Bragg mit vielen weiteren Optionen, darunter Noyo Harbour, Kinos und Minigolf. 40 Minuten landeinwärts befinden sich viele Weinberge zum Verkosten und Essen. Das Meer bietet viele Freizeitaktivitäten, darunter Abalone-Tauchen, Tauchen, Speerfischen, Krabbenfischen, Kajakfahren, Surfen, Standup-Paddle-Boarding und Lachsfischen. Hinterhof ist komplett eingezäunt und ein sicherer Hafen für Hunde aller Größen.

We had a great time during our stay at the farmhouse! We played badminton and Cornhole and enjoyed lots of reading hours in the gorgeous backyard. The house is comfy and cozy and is a short drive to town and beaches - this home away from home was perfect for our little family!

This is such a lovely house and while the bedrooms aren't huge we felt like the whole house ended up being even better than expected! The bathroom was wonderful and the kitchen was well-stocked. My kids loved the yard and having a fenced yard for the kids and dogs was wonderful. We had many friends ask for the booking info while we were there based on my pictures and I was tempted to tell them they could have it only if they brought me back with them!

Quaint and charming home with very large securely fenced yard which was perfect for our dogs. Fun yard for humans too with volleyball or badminton. Bring bug spray ad the mosquitos were a bit heavy in mid May. We lived this home and would stay again.

This property was even better than the description. Property offers a quiet peaceful retreat just inland from Mendocino and associated beach and headland access. Rustic, and restful with a crow’s foot soaking tub and many retro amenities, right down to the 1950’s Electrolux vacuum with a retractable cord. Plenty to do on a rainy day too, with numerous puzzles, games and interesting reads. The yard was amazing, fenced and thoughtfully laid out. Quite simply wonderful, we’ll be returning again.

The house was very charming and was like going to a grandparents house. Very clean, had all the dishes we could ever need, coffee there for us, pack and play for the baby. Beautiful gardens around the house. Just wish it wasn’t raining so we could have explored the property more.

The farmhouse was perfect for two of us and our two generously sized dogs. Great fenced yard, great kitchen, great living room with room for everyone, and a lovely bathroom. Very generously stocked with towels, toilet paper and enough dishes for 100 people. This is one place we would love to come back to. Also, nicely located very near Big River beach and trail.

This property is sweet, cozy, private, with plenty of fenced yard for my dogs to run free. The gardens were just coming to life while I was there. I immediately felt at home in the simple cottage and settled in for my stay with no fuss, able to breathe and contemplate. I will come back here when I can and highly recommend it.

After first reading all t he reviews of this property I can honestly say they were all "spot on." The only downside.for us was the long, long drive from SoCal...but well worth it indeed!

There are chicken eggs and meyer lemons from the property. The house manages 3 bedrooms in a cozy space without feeling crowded. The huge well fenced yard is fantastic for bringing your dog and having lots of room to run and play together. The gardens are beautiful and the sunny deck with a grill is a perfect place to lose a day (or 4). Town & the ocean is only 8 minutes away if you need to grab supplies or get your ocean fix. Last, but truly not least for anyone trying to cook in a vacation spot, there are SHARP KNIVES in the kitchen. A truly excellent surprise.

Our dog Molly loved the fully enclosed yard with lots of space to run and play. The back deck was perfect for stargazing and watching the moon. The inside of the farmhouse was comfy and cozy and the farm fresh eggs were a special treat. Patrick and Rachel were great with all of the communication and we really appreciate how welcoming they were. The location is a quick 10 minute drive to Mendocino and a few more minutes up the highway to Noyo Harbor and Fort Bragg. We will be back!!!

We had a wonderful time. Our son and daughter-in-law were with us from New York and had to spend a lot of time working online with their business. That afforded us much time in this cozy well appointed home, so we were really able to enjoy it. Having been to Fort Bragg/Mendocino many times throughout our children’s lives, we didn’t have to tour around so much which allowed us the opportunity to spend some real quality time together. We appreciated that the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook with etc. The area was very quiet and private It was just perfect for us. We were even greeted by fresh eggs when we arrived. How thoughtful is that? Patrick and Rachel are great hosts and we truly were able to feel it was our own home while we were there. The garden and flowers were awesome. Patrick was fighting the Caldor fire in Lake Tahoe so we want to make sure and thank him deeply from our hearts.

We enjoyed our stay, open floor plan, clean, plenty of room for four legged freinds to run. Flet rught at home. Loved the little bouquet of flowers and fresh eggs.

We traveled to this area for our daughter's wedding. We stayed for a few days. The property was beautiful. The house was clean and comfortable. The property is on a very busy, high speed road, so walking or running is out of the question (without danger). Other than that, it was the perfect getaway spot. Thank you!!!

Exactly as advertised, exactly what we needed!
I can’t say enough good words about this property. It was exactly what we wanted for a vacation retreat with our dog in beautiful Mendocino. The large sunny deck and the giant well fenced yard were exactly as described and so much fun for running and relaxing. The house and grounds are gorgeous and well taken care of. The owners answered all questions we had, and there were plenty, about the size of the property, the fences, and proximity to neighbors and other animals. They were even good enough to let us know ahead of time when they were going to be around to care for the grounds so that we could plan ahead and not have our dog be startled by strangers. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The claw foot tub was great! The kitchen is very well stocked. We definitely hope to come here again soon and appreciate all that has been done to make this an extremely comfortable and private getaway.

A word of advise. I would put some caution tap or other indicators for the short step on to the deck. Respectfully,It wouldn’t be good if a guest got hurt!
