Sash was an amazing host, always availing himself for my questions and queries. The place is beautiful, my kids really enjoyed playing in the sand and water. Really enjoyed the beach vibes and the restaurant serves amazing food. I would definitely book another stay, but maybe more in the summer so we can enjoy more of the water since it was super cold at this time.

There was an issue with the electricity. Unfortunately city power was not having a good week. But the thing I didn't like was that the backup power was not reaching the unit I booked properly. It would go off for long periods, or come on and off multiple times. That for me was the downer as I booked the place due to availability of backup power.

Sash's unit was disappointing, we actually checked out the day before our checkout day..for the amount he charged per night in the midst of winter he hadn't provided any sort of heating system apartment was cold. Very uncomfortable. When requested on the first day of arrival he promised to arrange something by the evening when we tried contacting him there was no answer.. The braai stand wasn't even useable, (so dirty) no knobs for the oven, we couldn'teven use the oven..,the fridge wasn't even in working order our meat went off.. in the bathroom the shower doors were broken.. It was supposed to be our honeymoon for a couple of days but we were so disappointed and poor communication from this host led us to leave the place disappointed. Wouldn't even recommend.

I didn't like the apartment, it was dirty, the fridge was not working, TV was not working as well, the blankets were dirty and they didn't smell nice at all, the bed was so uncomfortable...there was load shedding but we've been told that there won't be any load shedding😔😔the place was very cold and there were no heaters.

This apartment does not deserve the name Penthouse. This was a normal 1 bedroom apartment. Upon arriving our paperwork was not available in order to receive our passes for the facilities. We only received the paperwork late afternoon and because of that we didn't get to experience the Lagoon. The information listed on Booking.com for this particular apartment was extremely misleading. There was no coffee station. There was no private pool. The gas braai didn't have any gas in it so we couldn't braai our meat. The oven had no knob to switch it on so that was another let down. We had to take our meat with us home. We were left a flimsy kettle to use. I will never ever go back to this place. We went to the office to inform them that we did not get to experience the lagoon and they told us we can reach out to our host to ask him to extend our passes for a couple of hours which we did. He just said unfortunately he can't as new guests are arriving. I asked him too 10 the morning and the guests only arrive at 2pm. I just wanted my 2 year old to get a feel of the water but the host couldn't even grant us just a couple of hours of an extension on our passes.

The atmosphere was fantastic,it was easily adaptive,home away from home I should say. The security guys were very helpful,from at the gate to the lifestyle center,very friendly guys. The shower was nice..and the apartment was neat. There were tea and coffee facilities(no fresh milk though) Wifi connection was best😊 The pool side🥰💃🏻 The restaurant is very nice,and the music 👌

The apartment was on the second floor and I have a knee problem.I wish that the specifications were listed prior.. I love tea and I was happy that there was tea and coffee facilities but the teabag container did not have a lid. Even if it is self-catering but can the guests atleast find 2 bottles of water and atleast a pint of fresh milk?😊 There were cockroaches all over the place,we killed a few. There was no toilet spray,we had to buy our own.🙄 The bedding was a total no🤭 The towels smelled damp..like they were never put in a fabric softner🤨 We had to move some of the furniture from the sitting room to the bedroom so that we may have a place to put cushions and other things,and also so that I may have a side table to put my phones on as there's only one in the bedroom.

The Lagoon itself was very nice with good clean toilets.

The apartment had cockroaches. Check in time is strictly at 2 yet it took 40 minutes to be checked in, proper instructions weren't given for the duration of our stay which wasted alot of time. Theres no signage or directions for the Lagoon No air-conditioning, just a dirty fan that i couldnt use. Staff weren't helpful and not friendly at all.

The location was very easy to find, my lil suggestion is that how about they put erows showing the blocks direction to which side starting from the entrance.
