It was perfect!

We were very impressed with the convenience to shopping, museums, tourist attractions, beach and fabulous restaurants! And when you get older, you also appreciate comfortable beds and furniture. :-). Thanks again!

We stayed here for our girls trip this year and this property was super cute and in a PERFECT location. It was close to restaurants and was within a short walk to the beach. The property was clean and check in and out was super easy due to a code lock, and we barely had to do anything to check out. Communication was great. We had to call once because we accidentally flipped a fuse(girls and their hairdryers😆) and couldn’t find the box to flip it back. The owner answered the phone on the second ring and was there to fix it in less than 5 minutes. She was so nice about it! I would gladly stay here again, and would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone visiting SSI! We had a great time and it was perfect for our trip!

The location can’t be beat! Walk a few short blocks down Neptune street and you’re at the beach! The home itself was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. 5/5 - would go again!

My spouse and I enjoyed our stay in this sweet single floor duplex that was just a short walk to the beach. Living space was comfortable and had all of the amenities of home. We had everything we needed to start off our vacation. Despite it being a duplex, you could not hear any noise from next door. The unit was close to a number of restaurants, shops and the beach. There was an umbrella and chairs available for our use but we opted to rent from in front of the Kings and Prince Resort so we didn’t have to carry them back and forth. There was a place to rent bikes just up the street too. Great place to stay in a great location!

Everything about this rental is clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated with new appliances including a washer and dryer. It is a short walk to three good restaurants and bbq plus the beach. Melanie is easy to reach and most responsive.

LOVED this cottage! Located just a couple of blocks from the beach, close to The Crab Trap, easy access to shopping by the pier. Adorable inside, had everything we needed, even a couple of puzzles which were great for the evenings once we returned. Beds were really comfy (and I'm picky about those), AC worked like a charm for the unusually warm days we had in Feb. Melanie was quick to respond to messages. Had a wonderful stay! Would highly recommend and hope to stay there again next visit.

Cute and cozy cottage. Clean and updated with modern appliances, exactly as listed. Beach is just a short walk across the street. We have 2 small children so we rented a golf cart and it was just minutes to drive to the downtown area. We had a great time. Would definitely stay again!

This property was just as described. Everything was clean and updated. It is a short walking distance to a beautiful beach. Pier Village is only a mile away and an easy to walk as well. Many wonderful restaurants and shops close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away. It was also only about 30 minutes to Jekyll Island. I would highly recommend this property. Melanie was very easy to work with and very responsive.

We love st. Simmons and this little house did t disappoint. The house was nice and clean. Well setup and nicely decorated. It is on a main road but we were pleasantly surprised that in the house you couldn’t hear the traffic at all! Will definitely stay again.

Let me start by saying we had a WONDERFUL time and no issues at all during our stay! The building is older, but clean and maintained. There were 5 of us with a combination of adults, teen, and a child and this was perfect for our needs. I know it says it sleeps 8, but in my opinion that would have been a little tight. Checking in is easy. There is parking at the entrance that’s specifically for loading/unloading and an absolute God-send! There are bell carts available right past the elevator in a little alcove, but they are limited in numbers. This is a “first floor” but you do have to go up one floor to get to the unit. We had no issues with the operation of the elevator during our stay, however the best part is the buildings are connected so just hop over to building 2, and then walk across. Not the end of the world. This unit was located right next to the pool, pool bar, and little store which was super ideal for us. It’s pretty much families that were there and seemed more of a family style environment. So if you are looking for the frat party style resort, this one isn’t for you. It’s really quiet at night which we loved, especially having a little one. Please understand that it’s condos, so you will hear others, but it’s really not bad. Laundry facilities are located on 2nd and 4th floor. You WILL need these as the number of towels/washcloths is limited to about 2/person and with sand and things you will not want to reuse. The cost to wash/dry is $5 a load and they only take credit/debit, but it’s a pretty large capacity. Learned this after I dug for change and went to the laundry room. The best part was we could be at the pool and doing laundry at the same time since they were right there together. Beach access via the boardwalk is right outside this building as well. It’s a beautiful stroll in the evening and worth just taking in the sunset and all the aspects of the ecosystem. Even the teen was loving it. However, use the shuttle for when you are dragging beach gear. It runs pretty consistently. Coco’s was great! We recommend! Kitchen is well stocked with pretty much anything you need, but definitely a “one seater”. We did utilize it a good bit but it’s smaller and not many of us could be in there at the same time. Not a huge issue due to open floor plan. If you NEED a view, this isn’t for you. There is a lagoon view, but a partial wall, trees and other vegetation obstruct it. We didn’t mind. For the price point, it was fantastic!

We really enjoyed staying here. The rental is located within walking distance of coffee shops and seafood restaurants. We were able to get to the beach very quickly. The place was clean and quiet. Would recommend.

This property was close to everything! Just a 2-block walk to the beach, a convenient market and several restaurants just a block or two away as well (our favorites were Barrier Island Brewing & Fiddler's.....so good!) We were also a short bike ride away from the Pier Village Market, which was great! The property was well kept, completely updated and beautiful! (I just wish there would've been a Keurig coffee brewer...they're so convenient!) We loved our stay and would definitely come back! Thanks for a wonderful vacation, Melanie!!

Nice little place. We had 3 adults and we fit well. Near a bbq, brewery and 2 seafood restaurants. Bike place at the corner and a nice stained glass shop. Quick 3 blocks to the beach and only 9/10 mile from village. Quite, little traffic or noise. Comfortable living room and outside small patio. Provides soap, towels, laundry and dishwasher soap, nice fridge and stove. Really enjoyed ourselves

We enjoyed Melanie’s place for our week-long getaway. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and cute with every detail thoughtfully designed for a short or longer stay. The beds and linens are high quality as are the appliances and finishes in the kitchen. It’s a short walk to the beach and favorite restaurants and right on the bike path that stretches the length of the island. Perfect for two to four people. Melanie was super accommodating and communicative.

Melanie and Ed are the best and the property was a great way to launch into retirement. Everything is convenient. The village, restaurants and beach are all within walking distance. We will be back.

This property is in a perfect location to bike or walk to many places to eat and to the beach. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Melanie made the check-in process really easy, as we arrived very late that evening. Would definitely stay here again!

We fell in love with St. Simons!!! Having never been to the area before, we didn’t quite know what to expect. The area and this home far exceeded our expectations. It’s absolutely gorgeous and the location was perfect. It’s within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. This rental is such a gem! The owner, Melanie, was so sweet and very prompt with communication. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at this place! Very nicely decorated and the perfect size for our family of 4. Kitchen was nicely laid out and functional for preparing meals. Outdoor shower was a must for our sandy selves after going to the beach. Easy walk to beach and short drive to East Beach and the Village. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect!! The place was very clean and bright! I loved everything about the place. It was nice to have the patio as well. Melanie was wonderful to work with. The best aspect of staying here was the location! It was literally a 5 min stroll to the beach. We also enjoyed being close to restaurants and shops. The keyless entry was a perk as well. My mother loved it so much, we are looking to book this place again in September!!! Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay!!

Easy walking distance to Crab Trap, Crab Daddy’s, King & Prince. Walk or bike ride to village/pier. We are return renters. Will be back.
