Stayed at the property with 4 couples. The home itself was beautiful. So much so that the pictures only tell half the story. Every room was huge, including bedrooms and baths. The views from inside looking out and from the deck to the mountains was spectacular. We needed to contact the host (Ann) for a couple questions and her response time could not have been better. Like a matter of a couple minutes! If you have family or a group of friends it's a good place to stay.

House was clean, host was responsive with question. Amazing view of surrounding woods. Great place to stay and relax.

The house is very spacious & it was nice to look out over the Black Hills every morning!

The house had more space even than it looked like in pictures and the kitchen was well stocked to suit a large group! Two coffee makers, lots of plates, cups, and glasses. Lots of pans and bowls and even two griddles for things like pancakes for a group. We had a small issue and when I contacted the owner the response was very quick! It's a but of a drive to the bigger touristy areas like Rushmore and crazy horse but a beautiful drive and total worth the quiet and beautiful view! Stairs to all bedrooms though so if you have someone with who can't do stairs they may be stuck on a couch. Added bonus for tall people...the downstairs shower head is high. My 6'6" hubby loved it. Overall a wonderful stay!

This place Is amazing to stay at if u are heading to the black hills. it's right by Terry peak and close to everything.The only thing is the cleaning could be a little better.Under couches and chairs and the wood stairs were pretty bad so we cleaned all that ourselves.

Fulfilled our expectations in every way. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great view of the hills fresh air and great accommodations all the way around Thank You!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property in Terry Peak. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking meals. Lots of space for everyone to spread out in the three levels. And that view was absolutely perfect! I’m sure we will be back ;)

Pictures don't this property justice. Way bigger than I thought it was going to be. Everything was clean and had plenty of perks. Hot tub was nice after a long day of off-roading. Scenery was absolutely amazing. Party of 11 had plenty of room. Every bedroom was huge. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Our family of 7 adults absolutely loved this large, comfortable home! Much better than the listing showed, home is enormous with fabulous views! We were sorry to have to leave. Home is located near Terry Peak, about 10 minutes outside Lead so very convenient. Beds all comfortable, laundry rooms on all 3 levels! Other comments regarding “maintenance “ issues refer to exterior doors with fading paint (big deal) and some exterior wood in need of restaining or replacing but in no way takes away from the enjoyment of the home. All of us want to come back for a longer visit. Thanks for sharing your home.

Beautiful, spacious cabin was perfect for our family vacation. We had areas large enough where we could all be together; and there were plenty of smaller areas that were more intimate for fewer to gather. We will definitely use this cabin again!

Everything was very nice experience. The house is huge. We had plenty of room for our 3 families. We would definitely stay here again. Grocery store in Lead was convenient and Deadwood was close too. Hot tub was like new and the deck is awsome

beautiful place to stay. lots of room. Needs some TLC. Would love to go back in the near future. Housekeeping needs to be more aware of the small cleaning. Refrigerator, light fixtures, and the patio windows and frames.

The only downside was the location listed on VRBO says "2.4 miles from Deadwood Center". This is actually 10+ miles by Terry Peak. For this trip we specifically wanted close to Deadwood, but for any other trip this location would have been perfect! Hopefully they can get the location corrected on VRBO. Thanks for the great stay!

Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend for a family and were so thankful our pets were allowed.

WFi is good. Lots of kitchen appliances and dishes. Pleasantly surprised. View is amazing. Property owner responds promptly. Has everything you need and then some. Only a short drive to ski lodge.

This property is the perfect setup for families! There was so much space for the kids to run around and with 5 adults, we weren’t stepping on top of each other while prepping meals or taking time to relax. The views are beautiful and peaceful. At night we turned off all the lights and enjoyed a billion stars! This property is on our return to list for future vacations.

We visited the Black Hills for my parents birthday/retirement celebration in September. This cabin was large enough for all 15 of us with ages 8-63. At the end of the road, this cabin is in a quiet location with great views. The house was pretty clean with the exception of being dusty in some hard to reach places. Some minor maintenance was needed on some siding, broken latches on the hot tub, etc. nothing major. The temperatures were in the 80s and 90’s while we were there, and with all the windows, the Air Conditioner didn’t stand a chance and it got pretty warm in the house. Would be a great destination in the Spring or Fall when the temps are cooler. Overall great place to stay.

We were able to check into the property early which was nice. They had hand sanitizer & Clorox wipes readily available & stocked. The outside tables were a little sticky & the grills didn’t really work which was disappointing. Otherwise the home is beautiful with great views & we had a wonderful time.

First of all, I was given the address after final payment and it listed Terry Peak. Nothing mentioned Terry Peak in the listing. Showed it was located by blue dot in Lead. That would have been acceptable. Two members of our party suffer from Altitude Sickness, this wasn't acceptable. The listing didn't indicate gravel roads. We had nearly a mile of hilly gravel roads to get to the site, on Harley Davidson Motorcycles. One rider layed her bike down on the gravel. Upon arrival at the residence the oven was dirty to the point it was moldy. The hot tub was flithy and stunk. The trash cans were full of trash, a table was broke on the deck and the tile pieces left on top of the unbroken side. The small couch in the living room was broken and not functioning, no toiletries were furnished like every other VRBO I have stayed in. The shampoo was partially used small hotel bottles. The house overall was dirty and the steps contained dog hair. The garage was filthy. The outdoor wooden patio furniture was dry rotted and/or broken, the grills were filthy and there was nothing there to clean them. The AC froze up shortly after we arrived. It listed a garage freezer but that was turned around and pushed against the wall in the garage. The house could be really beautiful. The house was tired and it appeared either the owner or maintenance personnel did a poor job preparing for our stay. Lots of little things needed fixing. I have stayed at several RVBO's and this one was the most disappointing. With proper maintenance and upkeep it could be a very pretty property. I contacted the owner who said she was aware of the table but a tornado had come through two weeks ago. Two weeks is plenty of time to remove the table and the tornado had nothing to do with the other issues. I'll question using VRBO in the future.

Traveling with 15 people can be tricky as we all have our opinions which we don’t totally agree on, but this place we ALL agreed was fantastic!!

Property and views were great. A lot of space and a quiet area. Great view for stargazing.

This was the perfect house for our family vacation with our grown children and our nine grandchildren. There was plenty of rooms for everyone and plenty of space in the kitchen/dining area, living area, and on the deck. The accomodations were absolutely great Beautiful house with a beautiful view!

We spent 3 wonderful days at Ann’s cabin in December. Loved every minute of it. Guys were there putting in a new hot tub on the deck and it was ready to use that evening. So much room for our whole family. Would definitely do it again!! The heavy snow didn’t bother us at all. Dennis & Annie.
