This property was very clean and had everything anyone could ever need. We saw deer each morning in the back yard. It was a peaceful getaway. We loved it ❤️

Together with my wife, sister and brother-in-law, we stayed for a week to attend a wedding in Afton. The weather was warm in early Sept., but the location is very shady, quiet and cozy. Several deer visited every morning and evening. The house is comfortable and well-equipped. Laurie is quick to answer questions. We’d definitely stay again if in the area! Thanks, Laurie.

The home is super cozy and well kept. Because of the rooms not getting any air, we opened the windows and there were mounds of dead bugs. Looked as if they had not been cleaned out in years. Other than that, the area is beautiful! The homeowner made access to the home easy and it was a great stay!

This house is perfectly located in Nellysford - so close to many breweries/Bold Rock/stores, yet in the woods and just a peaceful location. Short 20 min drive up to the mountain resort. You can tell the house is loved by its owner and it is cozy and personal. Love the back porch (screened in).

This was a perfect place for our family of 4 with adult children and 2 Chihuahuas. Everyone had the space they needed and the dogs loved walking and exploring. The screened porch was awesome because we could gather outside with other area family without worrying about spreading the virus. We would love to stay again when we come back to visit.

Had a fantastic stay! The house is attractive, clean and well equipped with anything you would need. Spacious for a family of 4. There's a beautiful view out the back with horse pastures and mountains. My kids loved the family of deer who would visit almost every evening. We loved sitting out on the back screened porch, and having meals out there as well. Laurie was a pleasure to communicate with and on top of everything. Highly recommend!

This home is absolutely perfect. The listing pictures don’t do it justice. Very spacious home with everything you possibly need. Great location tucked away for privacy but close to all the wineries and breweries. We will definitely be back. Our pup loved it as well along with running around the property since it was far enough from the road.

The only downside are the extra fees you need to be aware of: insurance, owners fee, cleaning fee. These are my over and above the nightly cost. Those were a bit annoying. All and all, I would go back.

What a great house! About 20 minutes from Wintergreen Resort and 12-15 minutes away from Veritas Winery and Blue Mountain Brewery, we Ubered. Loved the fireplace!! Quiet location but close to IGA for groceries. Owner was quick with responses to any questions. We all just loved it! Will definitely stay again!!!!

My husband, daughter, and her husband stayed at Laurie's house for Christmas. This was the first time we ever went away for Christmas, but our stay was wonderful. The owner, Laurie, went out of her way to make her house ready for Christmas by decorating a Christmas tree with lights, holiday candles throughout the house, and having cute holiday decorations placed throughout the entire house. The log burning fireplace was ready with wood and we had a burning fire the entire stay. The house was well stocked with sheets, towels, spices, cooking supplies, and items in the refrigerator. The owner was exceptional in answering our emails in a time manner, and the check-in process was so easy! Laurie is a perfect host and we hope to make her house a holiday tradition!

This house was perfect for our family and dog. Lots of room to roam outside, even a pretty meadow out back :) It was located very close to some fantastic activities, our favorites were Paul's Creek Trail and Lake Monocan. Well stocked kitchen, and though appliances are older, they work just fine. We had great communication with the owner and I would absolutely stay here again!

We loved this house and the location. This home is tucked away in Stoney Creek at Wintergreen with a beautiful backyard view and easy access to 151 and Nellysford. We practically lived in the large screened in porch during our 5 day stay! The open dining room and living room area was welcoming and comfortable too. The home is well-stocked and the owner quickly replied to all questioms I had before check-in. We will definitely be returning to this perfect Nelson County home-away-from-home!!

This is our second time renting and we loved it. The house has everything you need and very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the woods surrounding the house and my kids loved seeing the horses nearby in the field .

Loved the big family room and the screened porch. House was very well stocked, Appreciate the pet-friendliness, took our dogs on great walks and made friends with the horses in the nearby field.

The cabin was just perfect for our girls' getaway. The views were beautiful, the decor was tasteful and we had everything stocked that we could possibly need.

Nice space in a nice subdivision with great views, a fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen. But it is pretty musty for anyone with allergies/ respiratory issues or a stuffy nose.

My circumstances are unique. My grandparents owned this house for over 30 years and I spent many magical times with family at this home. Laurie has done an amazing job maintaining the home. It's the perfect quiet getaway. I stayed for a long weekend getaway and was pleased with the ease of check in/check out. The house had everything I needed. I can't wait until my next visit.

We went with our 2 adult kids and their significant others. Plenty of room. Nice area. Good dish and cooking supplies as well as access to spices, etc.

We loved our stay at the Peaceful Mountain Get Away. The house was cozy and well stocked, with easy access to hiking and breweries. I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains every morning, and our dogs enjoyed watching all of the wildlife. The house has well water, so I recommend bringing bottled drinking water. Other than that, the PMGA has everything you need to disconnect and unwind.
