All was as it was meant to be, and that is fantastic. A bit of a tropical storm hit us for a day, but it forced us to relax and slow down. A welcome and unplanned gift. Thank you Hawai’i ohana, you always provide us with the needed perspective.

Ralpha and Priscilla continue to be phenomenal hosts. This is our 2nd year staying in their place and unbelievably we had more fun than last year. The condo is very well appointed with everything you could need for your stay. I highly recommend this condo for anyone considering a stay on the Big Island.

Ralph is the most organized and responsive VRBO host we've ever rented from. The condo itself is great - very clean, and very organized. Ralph has thought of everything. The beds and pillows were high quality and very comfortable. The towels and provided toiletries were great. The beach equipment was an added bonus - lots of kids snorkel equipment, boogie boards, pool noodles, beach umbrellas, and a wagon. There is 1 kid size life jacket which was nice to have for my younger snorkeler. The pool is shared with the Ka Milo development to the north but always had lots of chairs and shade. There is a lap pool, a hot tub and a fitness center there. Being able to use the Gem cart is reason enough to book - just a few minutes down the road to the Fairmont Orchid, a few minutes the other direction to the grocery store (be prepared for $7 milk and $10 bread), Tommy Bahama restaurant, and the Island Taproom had good IPAs. The Fairmont Orchid restaurant was underwhelming but we ate one night at Beach Tree at the Four Seasons Hualalai (30 min south) and it was fantastic. The Mauna Lani Beach Club is 5 minutes by cart and had the calmest water and best snorkeling in our time there. Plus beach chairs and a restaurant good for lunch. The neighborhood is very quiet and much more relaxed than Waikaloa to the south. Great for families. Overall this is a fantastic home base to explore the Big Island or just hang out in the resort areas along the Kohala cost. We will definitely be back!

There were so many things to do! Having the cart to drive to the beaches was fantastic. The access to the resort parking was a huge perk! The house was beautiful and we had everything we needed for a great trip!

We enjoyed time around the pool, the private beach and evenings at the Fairmont Orchid resort. 20 minutes to some of the best beaches on the Kona coast.
Conveniently located in Mauna Lani and walking distance to restaurants and groceries. But who needs to walk when you have access to a GEM EV cart?
Ralph was the perfect host; available when needed to get us settled in.

Everything we wanted and more the accommodations were amazing and Ralph went above and beyond with providing us with suggestions and options while we stayed at his property. I was on the big island for a conference. This home is close to the beach and an easy drive around the entire island. The home had everything we needed including a GEM cart to get around the resort. Would 100% stay here again!

Everything was great! Loved the condo. The GEM cart was used more than i thought it would be. Great to run to the pool, grocery store, and beach club. We've stayed in this area before, but Ralph makes this condo the best. Perfect size for what we needed and Ralph is great. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!

If you’re early or lucky enough to book this place because it’s still available, definitely book it.
Ralph’s attention to detail shows and it made our stay just that little bit better because we had everything we could possibly need: from essentials like beach stuff like chairs and umbrellas, to things that would be nice to have - pool noodles, boogie boards, snorklers, to things that was just made the stay a little extra - two sets of beach towels for everyone so you didn’t have to be so vigilant with washing the ones you used that same day and even little mini clips for big chip bags!
The GEM cart was a big plus in making us feel we were really on vacation. It was nice not to have to take the car to the fitness center, tennis courts, grocery shopping or beach club.
A big bonus of staying here was finding out we were able to access Puako Bay from the complex! Although the condo is on the other side of the complex to the beach club, it is less than 5 mins away in the Gem Cart to the Southern part of Puako Bay. This was my favorite beach by far. I saw a turtle swimming and another one sunbathing on multiple days.

E Komo Mai is an immaculate but comfortabe condo in a great resort area. Cruising around the property in the electric golf cart and on bikes was a treat. The tennis/pickle ball facility was fantastic and even had peloton bikes. Reserving courts was free. A short drive to the best beaches on the island. And Ralph was a hospitable and attentive host. I highy recommend E Komo Mai. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are on the big island!

We had a wonderful time at this property! The place was spacious and clean. Tons of beach toys/pool toys/snorkel gear in the garage. They had bikes, helmets, pool noodles, beach bag - everything you could think of! We loved riding the GEM cart around. We had access to the Mauna Lani Sport and Fitness center which was a huge plus! The host was very responsive and checked in on us a few times. Excellent! Thanks again!

This is a nice property. The Lanai is North facing so it was always comfortable to sit outside. Some nice amenities with this property. The electric vehicle was wonderful. It allowed me to get around the area when my husband needed the car for his dives. I would highly recommend this property. The owner was responsive and easy to work with.

Great property in super location. Equipped completely, instructions clear and complete. Owners have done a great job making a visitor/ client comfortable. Would definitely do again. Wonderful escape from snow and winter.

We stayed in Ralph & Priscilla's condo for a little over 3 weeks, and were very happy with just about everything. Location was great, and we really enjoyed the pool area, which we think is much better than the one at Fairways. Condo was very clean and well-outfitted. We didn't end up using the GEM cart much, but with more people I can see that it could be very handy. The A/C system took a little getting used to but was great once Ralph helped us understand how it operated. It wasn't actually complicated; we just don't need A/C where we live, so it was unfamiliar to us. We've been home a few days, and are definitely missing our "home away from home." Hope to return one day!

Kulalani is a beautiful property that is very well kept. It was great having the Gem cart to go to the beach and shops. So convienent. The unit had everything we needed and was clean on arrival. We have stayed at the Kulalani before and chose it again for the wonderful pool areas. Ralph and Pricilla, our hosts, replied quickly to any questions and sent clear entry instructions to the property. We look forward to returning.

We absolutely loved our time in this home in Mauna Lani. The location was central to many beaches and just a short cart or bike ride to a private beach with great snorkeling. It was so nice having a grocery store store so close. We loved the gym and pool access as well. Ralph was a wonderful host. We will definitely be staying again!

We had a fabulous stay at Naupaka@Kulalani Mauna Lani Resort. A lovely appointed property with absolutely everything needed for a perfect Hawaiian vacation. Bikes, coolers, snorkels, beach chairs, beach towels were in excellent condition. The GEM golf cart was an added bonus. We used the GEM to go shopping, out to dinner and to the beach club. There are 2 pools 2 spas and a workout room a short walk from the condo. These are used by the Kulalani complex and were not crowded. The beach at Mauna Lani was absolutely perfect, with chairs in the shade, showers, restrooms and a cafe. A wonderful sand beach with great snorkeling. It was so nice we spent all of our beach days there. Ralph and Pricillia were perfect host, always available to answer any questions about the property or the area. We have already told several friends about this property. I am sure we will be back. Aloha and Mahalo Ralph. All the best

Amazing rental. My family and I had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean and spacious. Outside of the volcano national park and beaches, there is no reason to leave the area.

We have been staying at Mauna Lani for over 14 years and have stayed at many different condos and houses. This home has been by far the nicest two bedroom we have ever stayed in. The unit is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Ralph was a joy to work with. The resort cart is an added bonus and the best way to get around the resort. Access to the private beach club and Napua restaurant makes for an amazing week and relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend this home and we will be back.

This is the 3rd condo we’ve stayed at in the Kulalani complex because we love all of the amenities. Ralph and Priscilla were wonderful hosts and thought of all of our needs. The condo was well stocked and gave us what we needed to enjoy all the big island has to offer. I highly recommend this condo and would stay here again.

This is an amazing unit in a wonderful complex. Everything you could need is in this unit…beach towels and equipment, first aid supplies, and owner even left snacks out for our arrival! I especially enjoyed the island information Ralph left about the language! If I am lucky enough to return to Big Island I’m staying here again. My 3 adult kids 18-22 agree! Stop looking, stay here!

My family and I had a wonderful week at Ralph and Priscilla's house in Mana Launi. Ralph made everything so easy, and the house was amazing. Tons of space, all of the appliances we could possibly need, super comfortable beds with quality linens, and so nice to have all of the beach and snorkel gear there to use. We also loved the electric cart- easy to use and lots of fun! We made use of the Rec Center, the nearby and beautiful beach with access to great snorkeling, and the super close pools. We can't wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay, which included so many amenities: full kitchen, washer and dryer, beach gear, bikes, GEM cart, pool, fitness center, huge master bathroom, walk-in closet, parking (we only had to park across the way once), and much more. There may not be much of a view, but the trade-off is peace and privacy. As for shopping, dining, and groceries, there is a small market and the Tommy Bahama restaurant at the resort's small mall; however, your best bet is to drive a few miles south to the Waikoloa Resort. Detailed communication with the host was appreciated!

This home was a great place to stay on the Big Island. The home was clean and very well maintained. The beach and pool access was close and the Gem Cart made getting around incredibly easy. Ralph communicated well with us and was always available to answer questions. We would definitely go back there in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great trip!

We have stayed in Mauna Lani a few times in some great condos, but this was our favourite! As a family of 4 with a 14 and 11 year old we had a blast. The kids used the bikes everyday, to and from the pool and the nearby shops. We loved the use of the golf cart, it was of excellent standard.
Ralph was super helpful and checked we had everything we needed. And the private beach is stunning. We hope to be back in 2 years time.

We’ve rented many condos and homes via VRBO and this is the BEST equipped, clean and well managed one we’ve stayed in! Extra towels, laundry/dish soap, paper towels, TP, coffee, GEM cart, etc. all appreciated. The kitchen and BBQ had everything we needed and we ate in daily.
In addition, the condo is spacious, light and bright! Very clean and well maintained. Thank you for making it available. We look forward to renting it again!

Enjoyed the home. It was clean and well maintained. Great amenities provided for the beach, pool and neighborhood. Ralph made some good recommendations for us on food, activities, etc. We had some plumbing issues (singing pipes at unfortunate hours) that owner tried to resolve while we were there, but still had some work to do at the time we left.
