Eclectic property reminded me of the California of my youth. Really cute and fun digs. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping was great. 1 block to beach was awesome. Landlord was very approachable. TV had some reception issues but we didn't care. So many other things to do in the area! Breakfast Republic is the bomb.

If you arrive any evening after 4 pm, you will have to park 3 to 5 blocks away and walk through a dark neighborhood. Also, the outside stairway is not lit and there is no handrail.

Great location. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Good bed. Direct TV did not work most of the time which was frustrating, especially on rainy days. Would recommend it if they fix the TV issue.

Lovely and charming space near the beach! Location is great, easy access to vibrant and fun Ocean Beach business district on foot and San Diego by car. Garage is small, so follow the guidelines if bringing a vehicle. Nothing beyond a mid-sized sedan would be ideal. Weather was a little rough with a surf warning while we were there, but still got some beach time at low tide.

The beach home was perfect for our quick stay. I would definitely recommend to friends.

Can't beat the proximity to the beach and shops/restaurants. The unit is at the back of the property, above a garage, and we heard any rustling just the ocean and sounds of OB. Enjoyed coffee on the porch area each morning.

My friends and I went on a quick beach getaway and the property couldn’t have been more perfect. Just blocks from both the beach and downtown strip; I don’t think we drove a single time the whole weekend.

Sweet cottage, it has everything you need for a fun stay. The location is superb and our dog loved the dog beach. If you go, check out the Wednesday evening Farmer’s Market and all the fun restaurants and shops on Newport St.

Beautiful property, perfect for 2-3 people. Great location to beaches, airport, downtown... everything was 20 minutes or less. Easy to communicate with property owner. We had a wonderful fall vacation to San Diego

OB, and the apartment.. great place with cute atmosphere vibe ..real beach cottage.. and perfect to go to the beach with my dog and take swims. We liked it.

This place was great to stay at! There were so many places for food, entertainment, and the ocean all within walking distance. I'd recommend this location to anyone wanting to stay in San Diego.

My wife, daughter, and I loved our time here. Everything we needed to go to the beach was there, the cottage was perfect for the three of us, and we fit the car in the garage, lol. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area!

Loved this charming bungalow! It was perfect for a long weekend with my daughter. Everything was exactly as described and communicating with Katrina was always responsive! Would definitely stay here again!

The property is nice. However, there is a lot of flight traffic over Ocean Beach for those who don't know. Well you live, and you learn. It is very cute and a short walk to the beach. The furnishings were comfortable enough and we had most of the basics for a great beach vacation. The unit can sell itself. I found the directions to the parking garage confusing. Parking is 2.5 blocks away as was explained prior to arrival. However, the written directions provided lack clarity and the actual garage set up is hokey, secured with a bike like that is tricky. When I was able to get the owner on the phone to clarify the directions, she was extremely rude and impatient. We were not surprised by the tight parking conditions but did not expect a glass tabletop leaning against the wall at the front of the very short garage, making parking even more difficult. Who does that? There were four wash cloths provided for three adults staying for three days, but 15 dishcloths. It is clear that her chores were more important than our comfort. This owner left very detailed instruction for cleaning and chores I usually don't do on vacation. It felt more like I was house sitting for a rude friend. I'm surprised she didn't leave an animal to care for and clean up after. Paying guests are not partners in your hospitality side gig. Some people should not be hosts.

Had everything we needed and was very clean.

The place is great - so quirky and has a lot of personality! The host leaves NOTHING to be desired — everything you need is provided - It was so clean and sparkly! The neighbors have done a lovely job with succulent landscaping - everything was delightful!

We had a great time and the place was so close to the beach! Highly recommend!

Overall unpleasant experience communicating with the property owner. We didn’t arrive until very late at night. No on street parking. Because it was dark it was difficult to find the gate access. We tried several times to access the off site garage but because of the dark we struggled. I called the property owner to ask for her help. She was rude and angry. She did drive to the property to help us which we appreciated but she was extremely rude!

We enjoyed our stay. Place was clean. Internet was not 100%. Location was walking distance to beach and restaurants.

We had a great long weekend in this property- everything is exactly as represented. The place is warm and welcoming. The bed comfortable. The place is well appointed. A block from the beach- so easy to walk to anything we could need. Parking on the street is hit or miss but there is a reserved garage. Large vehicles or SUV’s will be challenging to park in it however. Minor issue. We definitely will be staying here again.

We have stayed here on this property before a few years back in the front unit which was so nice. Know the back unit above the garage another awesome unit .everything you need is here . Comfy and quirky little spot. Parking was hectic but it’s nice they supply a garage. (Was just to small for our truck.) but we loved the little home and were thankful for the amenities .

My daughter (15) and I wanted a relaxing, low-key weekend out of town with our dogs, and that’s what we got here. It’s in a great location, super close to the dog beach, clean, and quaint. Instructions for *everything* were detailed and super clear, and communication was excellent. Parking on the street is pretty challenging, but a dedicated parking spot is available not too far away. There’s no immediate grassy area for dogs, but a short (~2 minute) walk away is a large grassy area near the beach. Bear in mind that the owner needs to approve dogs prior to booking (I mistakenly booked and sought approval at the same time, but it was easily ironed out). Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the living space. Everything was clean and well kept. Easy walk to the beach as well as to coffee and food.

The place was really clean and close to Ocean beach. It was a 20 minute drive to downtown San Diego.

Great place but parking garage was too small for my Truck. But still found parking close. You can walk to everything from there.
