Ocean Pines is a great alternative to traditional ocean properties. Neighborhood beach property parking available with short drive. We aren't typical beach people so this "staycation" away from home works perfect for us.

Nice clean house with all the conveniences. We have stayed here twice and would definitely stay here again.

The property owner has a few things in the house that other property owners do not have. One relates to "fun and games" rent the property and you will get to enjoy, too. The other is the Ocean Pines parking permit for OC beach access. Many other property owners tell you how to get a temporary pass which I never do. We only went to the beach once, but to not have to worry about where to go and how much it would be was wonderful. My husband says "best property we've ever stayed at." We've been frequenting Ocean Pines for about 6-8 years now. Thank you!

Location was great. Size of house and layout were perfect for my family of 4. Liked the private driveway. My kids loved the arcade game and DVD player for the rainy days. Kitchen was stocked well. All the floors had bits of sand on them, we needed to wear socks all the time. It was mostly clean. Although we had to go on a scavenger hunt to find our towels and bedsheets. That was the worst part of our stay. After a long day of driving it was frustrating when we had to make our own beds and look around to find the towels & bedsheets. Both toilets were very low. May be difficult for older people to get off of. Also the light switches were very confusing on how to turn off/on. Mattresses could be updated on all the beds. Overall I would recommend staying at this location.

The owner comunicated all important details and made it clear he was available at any point if we needed anything. This is our second year staying here and everything was great again. This is a great beach house for a family. We will be back again!

Ocean Pines Vacation
My wife, son and I have been coming to Ocean Pines for years and we've stayed in various homes and this house is easily one we would come back to. It was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The owner was very pleasant and easy to work with and he was extremely quick with responding to any questions we had for him. The house was well stocked with whatever you needed for cooking and the neighborhood is just beautiful with plenty of pools and parks for kiddos when you don't feel like driving to the beach Access to the private beach with free parking is always a great thing as well, especially in the summer. This was definitely a 5 star experience, thank you!

Great week in the Pines!
Overall we were so happy with our stay at this place. Everything was clean and good condition, not dirty and falling apart. Once we got the hang of the home automation using Alexa was a breeze. The owner responded any time we needed anything and made sure we had their contact info if we had any issues. The only negative things we could say about this place would be we couldn't find any kitchen knives (we like to cook) and the beds weren't very firm. Other than those two small things this place was great and we would be happy to come back again. There was just enough decorating to feel like a beach house but not breakable trinkets all over the place!!

This house is in a very quiet area close to indoor pooll.
This house is very nice. I would stay here again. Two suggestions is a little bit more dust removal and maybe some rugs on the floors.

Very Nice week in Ocean Pines
Great place. Kitchen was well stocked as we generally eat in on vacation. Very clean, good parking, nice gas grill too. The host Michael was great, very easy to get in touch with and he responds very quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing and fun!

peaceful and quiet
We really enjoyed our stay at the King Richard. The house was clean and well stocked. We forgot some of our kitchen stuff at home but they had everything that usually doesn't happen. Owner was always quick to respond. Would highly recommend. Lori

perfect for sisters weekend
4 sisters stayed at this home for 3 nights. 2 got a queen room each, and 2 shared the king bed. Perfect size for us. comfortable and very clean and neat. My only issue was that I did not realize till after agreeing to rent that we had to take our own linens. 2 issues taking up extra space in the car, limiting shopping experiences. Also last minute packing instructions had to be shared. Other than the linen issue, perfect, nice, neat and very clean.

Perfect beach home
This property is the perfect size for 6. All the floors, furniture and fixtures look new. The property owner is very easy to communicate with and answers messages quickly. This cute home met all our needs. Would stay here again. The Ocean Pines Beach Club is a great extra!

Great find at Ocean Pines!!
We stayed at this property for a week around the Fourth of July. It is decorated beautifully and has a great floor plan. It also had Alexa and Wi-Fi which were a surprise bonus.
The listing did not say this but they had a gas grill as well as chairs and umbrellas. That was very nice.
The location is excellent. It is a quiet setting, but it is within walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants.
An additional bonus are the attractions at Ocean Pines which include a beach club and parking on the ocean block, pools, and the yacht club. It is also very close to Ocean Downs.
We had an excellent time! I would recommend staying there.
Don’t forget to bring your own linens!

Incredible
Our stay was a trip of a Lifetime. Michael was super responsive with texts. Took 3 of us guys on a fishing trip to OC. We have loved our stay at our cabin. Everything was super clean.The guys were very impressed.

Second Time in Sherwood Forest
We had a great time with good weather and a great place to stay.
We found it to be even a better visit on our second time as we enjoyed the addition of "Alexa" which provided the enjoyment of music on demand and the convenience of a "smart house". The house is perfect for us as it has all the amenities we need and a very attractive place to spend a couple weeks close to our family in Ocean City.

Truly a Home Away from Home!
This house was perfect! Clean, nicely decorated, plenty of space and conveniently located. My favorite part of the house was the screened in porch. Living in the city, it was great to feel like I was in the woods but in a cozy environment.

Perfect place in the perfect location!
I love the King Richard so much that I'm actually writing my review from our second week this year at the King Richard! The home is bright, airy, clean and comfortably furnished in a peaceful neighborhood not too far from the Ocean City excitement. This is our second year here and we look forward to many more.

Beautiful, quiet, clean!
Wish I could rate this a 10! This home is a gem in the already beautiful area of Ocean Pines. Had everything we needed, and so much more. Cute little fenced in back yard, and we enjoyed the screened in porch every night to sit and relax outside. I loved all the nautical decorations throughout, and there was not a speck of dust anywhere! Master bedroom big and roomy. Very large driveway which came in handy for our car and boat.
Already made my reservation for our next trip to OC.
