Clean home, great location right on the beach! Beautiful sunsets!!

This beach cottage is as wonderful as it appears. It is the very best of Old Florida charm! If your idea of a vacation involves hours on the beach with a book and just enough of a crowd for good people watching but not enough to disturb your tranquility, dolphin escapades and incredible sunsets, this is the right place for you. Everything you need and a friendly and accessible owner. I can’t wait to go back!

Everything was great, this was the second time we have been there. Pictures online don’t do justice. New furniture which makes it even better. Great neighbors and just a few steps from the gulf. A larger tv would make it perfect.

Lovely property better than expected, better than the online photos. The house was well equipped. The beach was excellent.

This is one of the original beachfront cottages in Indian Shores, completely updated, clean, comfortable, and very well stocked with all you need for a fabulous week. My only gripe is the parking. While you are assigned one space next to the only other space available for the smaller cottage behind this one, it is very tight parking. Trimming palm leaves was necessary to see the cars coming south on Gulf Blvd; it was nerve-wracking trying to leave the property safely. Other than that issue, we had a lovely week enjoying the wide patio with the Gulf view, the Australian pines, and beach daisies along the path to the dune.

We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful oasis on the beach. The bungalow was impeccably clean and comfortable. We spent many hours on the patio enjoying our view of the beach.

Beautiful sunsets and the cottage had everything we ever wanted.

We spent a week in this incredible cottage in early December '21. The house is nestled off Gulf Blvd; quiet, perfect location, direct access out of the back doors to Indian Shores beach. We enjoyed the wrap around back porch, watching the sunsets, barbecue grill and all the kitchen essentials necessary to cook meals and bake my 86 year old father a birthday cake! 100% recommended for a couple or small (4 people) gathering or vacation.

The whole process was easy.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this taste of Old Florida. The beach right outside your door was beautiful as well as convenient. The area was quiet and we had tons of beach and ocean all to ourselves. We definitely will be back!

The house is simply amazing. You cannot beat the location, and its backyard was simply jaw-dropping beautiful. The value of the shade trees is unmatched. We've travelled to many beaches, and this house is super unique and exactly as described in the listing. Love the history of this house! Our favorite thing to do was to enjoy the sunrise while watching the dolphins jump. We could do that here on the beach, while sitting under the shade trees! The beach was super quiet! No public beach access crowds. No fighting for beach space. Enjoy at your leisure! The beds were all comfy. The kitchen had everything you needed. The house was very clean. Barbara and Marie were very responsive to us. The only cons that must be mentioned: 1. Please update the living room furniture. We never sat in there as they look very old and uninviting. 2. You mention in your listing that you provide beach chairs. You do not. The 2 blue beach chairs were broken. The front of both were rusted and bent straight down. We went to Walmart and bought a set, that I shipped back home to myself on our last day. 3. The AC saga. Before any other guests stay here, assure the unit was upgraded and replaced. I appreciate Barbara sending repair companies quick, as it was hot from the moment we checked in. But with replacing the bad unit as the only option, we had a week of sleeping in hot and stuffy bedrooms. This was our first trip to Indian Shores. It’s our new favorite, and we will be back next summer. Hopefully to this house, if the above improvements are made!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. It was so nice to just walk out the door and down a little path to the beach. The views from the house are tranquil. Very quiet and private.

We absolutely loved our experience here! The property is exactly as pictured in the best of ways! The fridge was well stocked with condiments, and there were so many little touches that were thought of. The beach was quiet for all weekdays and got busier on weekends, but that was alright. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves for most of the week! We enjoyed the surrounding restaurants and little Indian Shores souvenir place down the street. We just had a blast and truly can't wait to get back!

We loved our stay here! The view is stunning and the home is wonderful. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The place is very clean and well kept, with lots of 'extras' (books, puzzles, kites etc) to enjoy. We plan to come back!

Better than described,everything you need,just a great place to relax,beach steps away and beautiful sunsets.

The cottage is located next to private homes not multi dwellings, they are far enough away you hear nothing except the ocean hitting the beach. We almost had the beach to ourselves.The only problem was the parking we have a large SUV and it was difficult to get out of the property.

Wow!! What a beautiful place! No complaints. It had a picturesque view of the ocean from anywhere on the porch and backyard (side where ocean is. Porch leads out to it). When you walked into the house, the view was the same! Tall windows around the open floorplan made it feel like we were still outside from anywhere in the den/living space and kitchen. It was a quiet, private space where our family of four could enjoy time together. When we were out on the beach it felt as if we had our own private beach. We have stayed in a condo on the beach before, and this was our first vacation in a home on the beach. We will never stay in a condo again after this trip! The privacy, access to washer/dryer, and of course direct access to the beach, can't be beat! We loved being able to take just a few steps right onto the beach!
