Das Sandcastle ist der perfekte Ort, um Ihren Urlaub mit der Familie oder mit Freunden zu verbringen.
Unser Haus wurde für große und kleine Gruppen gleichermaßen geschaffen. Wir haben fünf große Schlafzimmer, alle mit eigenem Bad und eigenem Fernseher. Wir haben auch ein großes Spielzimmer im Erdgeschoss, das zwei Queen-Size-Schlafsofas und ein Bad / Dusche im Umkleideraum-Stil hat.
Wir sind eine der wenigen abgeschirmten Veranden auf der Insel und Sie werden sich sofort in das Schaukeln auf den Stühlen verlieben, während Sie den atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer genießen, der Holden Beach zu einem der beliebtesten Familienstrände gemacht hat.

We all love this property!!! It fits everybody in our family including the dog. The only reason I deducted a star for cleanliness was there were quite a few very large roaches in the screened in patio and the front patio at night. Could not go out there most nights. And the morning we left there was a large roach in my bathroom and in the kitchen. I understand they are prevalent down south but we saw none when we stayed last year. Still we love your home!!! Wish we could stay next year but you were booked.

This property is very spacious and was well stocked with everything we needed. It was so relaxing to see the ocean every morning, throughout the day, and in the evening. And being able to bring our fur baby made it even more homey. We also enjoyed the gameroom downstairs for some fun and family competitions. I highly recommend this property.

Great location. The house was clean and well stocked. We had 9 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of space. Look forward to staying next year.

We loved the property and location! It was a perfect choice for our large family. The downstairs was a great place for the teenagers to hang out! The kitchen has everything you need as far as small appliances, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. It lacked nothing! It was by far the most well stocked kitchen of any home we have ever rented. The host was very informative and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Holden Beach staying at “Sandcastle”.Lots of space to spread out and right on the ocean. Loved the screened porch. Looking forward to our next trip to the coast!

We had a wonderful stay - the screened-in back porch was amazing, and that is where we all spent most of our time when we weren’t out on the beach. The home is lovely with more than enough space for all of us and a little something for everyone in our family from retirees to teenagers and a couple in between. Each bedroom has its own en suite and the downstairs “bonus” rooms were perfect when my teenage daughter wanted some space of her own to play video games and feel like she had a cool hangout. Well equipped with beach gear was a wonderful bonus! Can’t wait to come back next week!

The Sandcastle was well suited for large families and their pets. We found it clean, practical, decorated beautifully, and with privacy for all within the group. I can’t say enough about the screen porch facing the ocean! After we went out to explore, coming back to relax there was the absolute best experience!
The house was well equipped with everything you need or want to enjoy your stay. You won’t be disappointed. The high reviews are accurate. Thank you Debbie and family for renting your amazing beach retreat. We hope to return someday and gather around the unique round table again!

The rental was exactly as pictured and Debbie was a great host. Kitchen had every appliance you would need. Only 2 of us and we didn’t use lower level but it would be perfect for a larger family. The only thing we felt missing was to have some comfortable chairs on the front/back decks. There is an unobstructed view of marsh in front and the sun was beautiful along with ocean views in back. There are some beach chairs downstairs but nothing us retired folks could easily sit in.

This beach property was absolutely wonderful. The attention to details was something that we don't often see in our travels. Beautiful, huge rooms. Bedrooms all have private bathrooms, ceiling fans, big screen tvs, clothes hampers, exit sliding glass doors, etc. The spacious kitchen was well stocked with every cooking pan and utensil you would need. , The living room has a huge Smart TV, ceiling fan, comfy seating, clock. The screened in deck connects us to the ocean and beach. That's where we spent a lot of our week. The ping pong table downstairs was a bonus too. Overall, this was one of our very favorite places to stay.

We look forward to our every two year Christmas beach get-away at Sand Castle. Our family have grown over the years to include grandchildren and this year was really special to be with them all. There is lots of space; love that we all get our own bathroom; plenty of seating for everyone and the kitchen is well equipped - plenty of dishes for baking , cooking eating off etc. Debbie is very easy to work with and we especially love her because she allows us to have all our dogs! Each fam wants to bring their beloved pooch. We look forward to more christmases in Sandcastle, with the beach right outside the door. Lovely sunrises/sunsets; long beach walks looking for treasures.

We stayed for Thanksgiving dinner week with my family and my sisters family and did not want for anything! Pots, pans, bowls, crockpot, coffee pot, Keurig, you name it was available!! The dining table was our most fave place to be from playing card games to eating. We spent the majority of our time on the back porch and the ocean was perfect! No need for shoes- we walked right into the sand and out to the beach.
There were some concerns, but once we addressed them with the owner, they were quickly addressed so that the visit went off without a hitch! Everyone pretty much had a personal bathroom and privacy was perfect. We can’t wait to do this again!

Manageable stairs. Short walk to the ocean. Each bedroom had it’s own bathroom. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed to cook meals, and then some. Lack of street parting meant the beaches were empty. Was able to fly my kites.

We will return. The property is a well kept older oceanfront property. All needed accessories for cooking and recreation. Lots of room with one large central dining/cooking/ sitting area. There is a very large separate recreation room equipped as advertised. Outdoor showers and convenient interior bath so you have not need to go into cottage until rid of sand and salt. Great beach access and also convenient to shopping and restaurants just across on the mainland. You will enjoy your stay.

We enjoyed the house very much. The screened-in beachside porch is where we spent most of our time, plenty of rocking chairs and plenty spacious. The house is well equipped and comfortable. We will stay there again.

Home was in a wonderful location, the section of beach was never crowded. Just a short walk and you were on the beach. The house was comfortable and inviting. The screened in porch was a favorite spot for everyone in the house. Kitchen was well stocked, (though I would have loved to do some organizing!) We didn't realize the basement bedroom was quite so separated, the only access to the upstairs was by going outside. Not a huge deal, except we had rain some days and no umbrellas with us. Owner was wonderful to work with, very responsive to all of my questions. Thank you so much for a week of relaxation!

Annual Family Vacation
We absolutely LOVED our time at Sandcastle. It was so perfect for our family. There was lots of room to spread out and we really appreciated being able to bring our furry friends.

Great house! Great vacation!
Overall we had a wonderful time! The house was very well stocked with everything you could ever need! The screened in porch was awesome! The view was amazing! The living area was roomy! Our only complaint was the cleanliness. My son walked about barefoot inside the house and his feet were black within a few hours. We wiped up some water on the floor and same thing, the paper towel was black. Big clumps of hair and dust bunnies on the bathroom mats upon arrival. The basement seemed stuffy and damp as well. Besides maybe needing a new cleaning company, it’s a great house and stay!!

Great family vacation!
Great beach location, house just as listed and reviewed, easy private beach access, ample parking, great AC, comfortable beds and furniture, well equipped kitchen and beach supplies! We had a great relaxing stay with our grown children, our parents and even our dogs. We found a ton of sharks teeth! Hard to believe it’s a “dog friendly” home as there are no signs or smells of pets. The porch is comfortable and quiet except for the sound of crashing waves! The house has a side yard giving it some space and the house on the other side sits farther back. All appliances were newer, clean, and worked well. High capacity washer and dryer. My husband used the great frying pans to cook big breakfasts every morning. Plenty of books, games, puzzles, smart tvs, and bikes. Bathrooms have “vintage” tile that have been amazingly well taken care of and are clean. All bathrooms function well, good water pressure and storage. I can’t say enough good things! We want to rent this house again and the one next door with even more family. Good owner communication however we really didn’t have any because all the house and rental info was communicated clearly and accurately from the beginning. We loved Holden Beach and this house!

Sandcastle was an awesome place to stay for our family. There is plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and get comfortable. The overall feel of the home is very comfy and homey and I would recommend anyone to stay here! You will not go wrong renting this place.

Sandcastle April Vacation
The home is wonderful. It was clean when we arrived, had everything we needed. The screened in deck with rocking chairs was perfect for us. Being right on the beach was wonderful. Our little doggie "Honey" enjoyed her stay also. We would like to come back and hopefully the rest of our family will be able to come next time.

Nice Place, beautiful location
House has a very nice arrangement, plenty of things available - including kitchen supplies, games, books, etc. It is very dated and well-used. We did not really have to use the 5th bedroom, which is in the basement - off the garage......I was very happy about this, it is a bit concerning to think of sending people down there to stay. Kinda sketchy going in - which is in the garage with all the utilitarian items there and outdoor equipment kinda thrown in.
Just be prepared for old-school place, price reflects this, but fabulous location and beach views. Thanks for all the bikes, and games available for use!

Perfect Stay !
The host Debbie was so awesome to work with - she responded right away with any request that I had - which I really appreciated- no stress in making sure that everything was perfect for when our family arrived! The house was great - the outside screened porch with high end rocking chairs exceeded our expectations- the houses location is one of the best on the island - if you want a cosy place for your family stay this is the place !

Awesome beach house!
This was a girls weekend & everyone had their own bedroom & bath which was great! When the other reviews said their kitchen was fully stocked they meant it! The screened in porch was awesome…. Screens on the doors to the inside are needed to keep the bugs out of the house. This house is so close to the beach & it has everything included for a great time. Because it was Fall, the beach was almost empty which the dogs enjoyed! There is a picnic table on the porch as well for games & card playing. Thanks Debbie… we so appreciate your quick responses on everything!!

Perfect in every way
We had an amazing vacation in this home. It is comfortable and spacious with a gorgeous beach view. We have visited many beach rentals over the course of time and this beach house is by far the best!

Perfect week at the Sandcastle!
This is a beautiful ocean front home! The beach is just a few steps away and we enjoyed sitting on the enclosed back porch every night. The kitchen is so well stocked and I loved the themed bedrooms that each had there own bathroom. Our pups had a great time also-they couldn’t wait until 5:00 to head to the beach😊
