In einer großartigen Lage: Einfache Spaziergänge in der Nachbarschaft bringen Sie zu allen möglichen Restaurants, Cafés, Buchhandlungen und den üblichen Einzelhandelsattraktionen der Großstadt. Der Woodland Park Zoo ist so nah, dass wir die Siamangs zur Fütterungszeit hören können. Phinney Ridge gilt als "sehr begehbar" mit einem "Walkability Score von 79". Wenn Sie über den Gipfel von Phinney Ridge laufen, in und um Greenlake herumgehen und dann zu unserem Cottage zurückkehren, werden Sie eine der besten fünf Meilen langen Städte Amerikas erobern. Die Lage ist auch ideal für Eltern, die Kinder besuchen, die zur Universität von Washington oder Seattle Pacific U gehen.
Komfortabel: Das Haus hat an allen vier Seiten Tageslicht und ein Oberlicht. Alle Fenster haben Schattierungen (und Bildschirme in der Saison.) Das Bett ist eine Queen-Size-Top-of-the-Line-Schlafcouch. [Die Kissen auf dem Bett wurden 2018 ersetzt.] Es gibt viel heißes Wasser von einem dedizierten Wasserkocher. Die Miniküche umfasst eine Mikrowelle mit Abluftventilator, ein Kochfeld mit zwei Kochfeldern, einen Mini-Kühlschrank, einen automatischen Wasserkocher, einen Mixer und einen Toaster. Wir haben die Küche mit den Grundlagen versorgt, wenn Sie Mahlzeiten einnehmen möchten. Es gibt viel Kurzzeitspeicher, kostenloses WLAN, einen Flachbild-TV und einen iPhone-Anschluss, so dass Sie Ihre eigene Musik spielen können.
Privat: Das Haus ist eine komplett in sich geschlossene Einheit, die von unserem Haus getrennt ist. Der Eingang zur Hütte ist sieben leichte Stufen (siehe Foto) von unserer Einfahrt. Es umfasst eine Küchenzeile und ein Badezimmer mit einer Duschkabine. Genießen Sie Ihre eigene Terrasse zum Essen im Freien, zum Kaffeetrinken oder Lesen. Sie können abseits der Straße in unserer Einfahrt parken, wenn Sie das benötigen.
Sicher: Wir leben in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft mit Familien mit Kindern und Enkelkindern. Unser Haus befindet sich am Ende unserer Einfahrt und es wird von Bewegungsmeldern beleuchtet und durch Riegelriegel geschützt.
Sauber: Das Haus ist komplett neu aus dem Jahr 2011. Wir reinigen professionell zwischen den Gästen und arbeiten daran, die Wohnräume sauber und offen zu halten.
Liebe zum Detail: Rick Treston, einer der wahren Handwerker von Seattle, hat den gesamten Bau übernommen. Das Badezimmer und das Foyer sind mit importierten italienischen Fliesen ausgestattet. Die Terrasse verfügt über gepflasterte blaue Pflastersteine. Es gibt durchgehend handbearbeitete Oberflächen. Die Küchentheke ist Granit. Die Landschaftsgestaltung wurde von Classic Nursery und Landscaping of Woodinville, WA entworfen und installiert.
Solarantrieb: Ab Anfang 2013 wird das Phinney Cottage jetzt von Sonnenkollektoren auf unserem Grundstück angetrieben. Geh grün!

The rental was perfect. Location, neighborhood, accessibility, privacy, amenities everything was great. Peter and Anne are the best hosts and I don't think I could have enjoyed my stay any more. Everything was absolutely perfect and I can't wait to stay with them again.

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at the cottage. Peter and Anne were friendly and communicative through the entire process, and we appreciated the guidebook that was provided for guests. Check-in and checkout was easy and straightforward. Lots of smart storage solutions and amenities were provided in a small space, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet.

My partner and I loved the cottage, Anne and Peter were also a delight!
Plenty of room for two as the living space is open and cozy. Kitchen worked great.
Highly recommend if you'd like to feel tucked away from the city. Anne and Peter have a beautiful garden as well, adding to the cottage feel! We loved our stay!

The cottage was very nice with fresh ground coffee, fresh flowers, indoor and outdoor seating space, and a very comfortable bed. We plan to stay here again the next time we’re in Seattle.

We enjoyed out stay at this cozy, quiet cottage. The neighborhood is great for walking, so close to restaurants and lovely views of Seattle. And the weather was perfect!

It was a very sweet little place with convenient parking. The only thing I didnt like was there initially were only 2 bath towels and they were stiff and a little scratchy. When asked they did provide more towels
And around the shower was moldy and in need of new caulking. Overall the visit was great and hosts very nice.

The hosts greeted us when we first arrived and they were so incredibly nice and welcoming. As for the unit itself, my fiancé and I loved it. Everything was clean and decorated beautifully! Very roomy and spacious as well. It was perfect for our 5-day trip to Seattle. The location is good for public transit, just about a 10 minute walk to get to the nearest bus stop. I’m happy to have had the opportunity to stay here. :)

I cannot say enough in praise of this peaceful stay at Peter and Ann's cottage. Even the neighborhood is a beautiful mix of classy homes, colorful gardens, and independent cafes.

The owners are in the main home and you get what i would call a bunk house. it has everything - bathroom - kitchen - bedroom - a little secluded patio just for you. they let you park in their driveway as well. Gave me a number to text and let us know if they would be gone and what to do if we had issues - we had none. it was 15 min to all the major attractions or less. One of the best stays we have had.

This was a perfect place to stay for our first visit to Seattle. Peter and Anne are the wonderful hosts. They provided useful information on places to eat, using the metro bus system and things to see. The cottage is adorable and super clean and the neighborhood is pleasant to walk around, with gorgeous views of the mountains. We highly recommend this wonderful cottage and would definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

Peter and Anne were lovely hosts. We enjoyed our stay greatly. We were in town to see a concert and stay for the weekend. Transit was accessible as well as if you're up to walk around a fair bit and see the area, it wasn't an unreasonable walk (15-30mins walk) from some great locations. We had a great weekend. Thank you! :)

Excellent explanation of features in the place we stayed!! Fresh ground coffee was available when we arrived. Well-equipped kitchen. Very quiet during the day and at night. Beautiful fresh flowers on the table and gardens were so quaint. We were able to park in their driveway… very thoughtful!

We stayed at Phinney Ridge after 4 days of kayaking & camping in the San Juan Islands and it was the perfect respite for us. The unit is a studio, but large enough for me, my husband, and all of our luggage - including camping gear & inflatable kayak. It was clean and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, & utensils. The neighborhood is quiet. We especially loved the sound system to which we could connect our smartphones and listen to music while cleaning our gear and packing. We unfortunately arrived much later in the evening than we estimated, yet Ann and Peter could not have been more gracious. The back patio is lovely and was perfect for Iaying out & drying our wet gear. The location is about a 10 minute drive from our friends' house so it was convenient for us. We will definitely keep Phinney Ridge in mind for our next Seattle visit.

This is a well-maintained place to stay at a very reasonable daily rate. Great for a short to medium length stay! The owners are on site, available and helpful. We were very happy with all aspects of our stay.

Perfect Cottage
We found the perfect rental for our stay in Seattle. The location was wonderful, the cottage well equipped for two adults, everything we needed for a relaxing end to every busy day. We had easy access to the city, to local sightseeing and neighborhood coffee shops & restaurants. Great choice for our first visit to Seattle!

Such a pleasant trip
Just as lovely as the pictures. Our stay at the Phinney Cottage was absolutely pleasant. Peter and Anne were very welcoming and accommodating. They go out of their way to make sure their guests have everything they need. They offer a mattress topper for the bed because it’s a little hard, but we slept so well that we never used it. It’s located very close to a lot of great restaurants and coffee shops. I hope we have occasion to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay, spacious enough for both of us. Sofa bed was very comfortable and had all things necessary to make meals if needed. The neighborhood felt safe and a wonderful coffee shop up the street. Not far from downtown.

The Perfect Cozy Cottage
We can only echo all the other rave reviews of Peter & Anne’s Phinney Ridge cottage - the location, comfort level, Peter and Anne’s attention to detail - 5 stars for sure!
Phinney Ridge proudly supports all the amenities of a residential neighborhood; coffee shops, restaurants, independent supermarkets, a book shop, a fabulous flower shop and more. Most are within walking or cycling distance but be prepared for the hills!
Despite the neighborhood vibe, you’re within an easy drive or commute to downtown Seattle and even with work on ‘the bridge,’ driving to western Seattle or the airport didn’t take too long.
Peter and Anne were extremely efficient in sharing details, responding to emails beforehand and texts during our stay. We loved our little patio, the gorgeous garden (home to our welcome vase of flowers!), the decor and amenities in the cottage. As others have noted, the sofa bed was more comfortable than many hotel beds and for just two of us, it wasn’t at all in the way. ‘The House Book’ provided numerous comfort tips (how to block the skylight), dealing with Seattle’s recycling laws, even asking if we thought anything should be added for future visitors.
Peter and Anne were thoughtful and caring hosts - stepping in when asked, keeping back if not needed. We appreciated their style, and hope to visit again!
