Group of 9 co-workers traveled to Vancouver for work. Very nice, big, home for everyone to have their own space to sleep. Kitchen is very nice to spread out and enjoy a meal. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful property just as described, responsive owner

The home was very welcoming. We were family group of 17 and disembarked from cruise early morning. The owner was kind and helpful to allow keepnour bags at the home before the check in time. The neighborhood is very nice and conveniently located.

Celebrating our 50th anniversary, we took our family of 19 to an Alaska cruise and stayed at the Hudson House for 4 nights before the cruise. Our family travels a lot together, it it really not easy for a big family like ours to find a clean, comfortable, friendly, convenient and safe place that we can all stay in one house. Hudson House is the perfect one. The house is big and roomy, everyone can get comfortable sleep arrangement. The decoration is tastefully done. The amenity is adequate. There is a big lovely kitchen and a very nice back, side and front yards for kids to play on. The hostess was warm and accommodate in each and every way. Truly a home away from home. Can not be pleased more!

The house is beautiful, clean, well stocked and in a quiet neighborhood. Location is convenient. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Vancouver.

We had a perfect stay at the Hudson House. Our hosts were communicative and reachable at all times. They left a beautiful and clean house for us with clear instructions. It was the perfect spot for our family gathering. We would definitely recommend. The basketball net in particular was a big hit with our group!

The home is spacious and comfortable

We joined with two of our kids and our grandchildren under one roof. It was a wonderful time. The kitchen was spacious, so there were never too many cooks. The hot tub was fantastic, despite the snowy, rainy weather. Actually, because of the weather. The bedrooms were perfect for our group of elders, young adults and small kinders. We loved our time in Vancouver.

we were 9 couples from ages 23 to 68. We were there to be together and enjoy the city. Hockey games, Dine out Vancouver, Stanley park, Van Duzen Gardens. Plenty of parking in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. It isn't close to the train but we chose to car pool into city events. Great place for walking and jogging. We had one dog who loved the walks in the neighborhood, The hot tub was perfect at night. For our large group, plenty of privacy w regards to sleeping. Plenty of bathrooms. And the kitchen! It was excellent with all the things we needed to cook a meal for all. Would doit again next year. SAme place

The property is clean & spacious. There are enough supplies for our needs eg. bath towels, utensils in kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet The host is very responsive & helpful, ie quick to reply & answer our questions. I strongly recommend this property for anybody looking for their next getaway. I & my family would like to return for our next journey

My seven friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well appointed and large residence. The amenities and kitchen facilities are outstanding. The only minor irritant was the lack of basic cable news/sports on the television. There is a Roku but the live sports we wanted to watch was not available nor was news programming. This is more in the nature of a suggested improvement to an otherwise great house that I would happily rent again and recommend to others.

The space was perfect for our needs. Close to airport. Easy to get downtown. Big enough to all be together and have space. Bbq was appreciated for those couple nights we ate at home. Also loved the basketball net and hot tub. Annie responded quickly when the basement shower didn’t heat and when we had questions.

We were very excited to be able to find a place that allowed us all to stay in one house. Annie was very easy to communicate with and if we had any problems, I am confident they would have been addressed quickly. Thanks for your hospitality Annie!

This house was perfect for a get-together to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. We had 4 families flying in from different locations and had enough privacy, beds & bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The kids played basketball on the private patio (meant to ask host for a pump - but there were 2 balls so we didn't really need it). The grill was VERY nice & there was some outdoor seating (an outdoor picnic style table that sat 8?). The dining room table was made for 10 but we squeezed in 15 around it for meals when my uncle & his family joined us for 3 nights. The location was perfect. So close to everything we wanted to see (highly recommend VanDusen Gardens nearby!) & it was a quiet and nice neighborhood as well. The main level had 2 living spaces (one with a TV & couch/chairs and another on the other side of the house with plenty of seating). So you could really spread out in the home. We had an issue with the TV when we were there & the host was QUICK to fix the problem. Very easy to communicate with! I like to know the layout of the rooms when we look for VRBOs - so sharing here for others. Our kids (aged 13-17) claimed the basement which had a spiral wooden staircase that my mom went down once & then said she would stay on the main level after that) (A suggestion might be to put carpet/grips on those wooden steps?). The basement had 2 private queen bedrooms with doors to close (our teen boys each claimed those) & 2 queen beds in the open space (claimed by the girls so they could chat). There was 1 bathroom in the basement that they all shared that had a sauna (unable to use sauna on our visit - but we all preferred hot tub on patio anyway). The main level had 2 bedrooms - one with a king bed & a futon and another with a queen bed. The main floor only had 1 bathroom & that had doors connecting it to the king-sized bedroom (w/ a couch or futon?) & the hallway. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms each with king beds & private bathrooms. One of the upstairs bedrooms is the primary bedroom with a futon, a giant bathroom, 2 walk-in closets & TONS of space - I believe this is the one listed with a crib (although we didn't need that). I highly recommend this VRBO property!

It housed 14 of us comfortably with much joy and allowed us to share meals and activities. The extra large outdoor, built-in grill is amazing, and the hot tub was a major plus. Our only issue with this rental was that the kitchen was under furnished. For a house that sleeps 15 or so people, we lacked items that would have made our family meals as elegant and special as the house is. Missing were basics like serving dishes, better quality everyday dishes, safe knives, and pots and pans that weren’t past their useful lives. That said, when we offered suggestions, the owner excepted them gratefully and plans to take all of our suggestions and purchase the missing elements of a well stocked kitchen. We highly recommend this house should you need the space for your own special gathering.

We stayed over the Christmas holiday with 11 family members. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Having a huge dining table was great for family meals. The kitchen could use a few more items to bake with. Two dishwashers was a luxury. We had a problem with having enough hot water for evening showers. Manager tried to fix the issue but we instead spaced out our showers throughout the day and waited until later in the evening to run the dishwashers. Nice location and plenty of parking.

I stayed at this property over New Year's Eve 2021, and it surpassed all my expectations. I am originally from the UK but live in Canada, and stayed here with my partner's family and my family flying in from England. The property was big enough that everyone had their own room and space but not so big that it felt empty and there was plenty of room for everyone to eat and play games. Annie was helpful at every stage, responding to any questions within a matter of hours and doing her upmost to make the stay as seamless as possible. The only minor issue we faced was that with so many people we ran out of hot water every morning and some had to have a cold shower. However I relayed this back to Annie and she said she would get her technician to look into this right away. Overall an extremely positive experience, would 100% recommend staying her and wouldn't hesitate to go back!

We had a team of 11 co-workers gather for a day and it went great. The house has everything you could possibly need. We couldn't find the switch to turn on the grill on the patio and the host was extremely quick to respond and very helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
