We had a fantastic time staying at the property. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The only thing I'll mention is there is no AC and on the 80 degree days it got very warm inside and was hard to cool off at night as the doors didnt have screens so there wasnt much cross ventilation to cool off at night. It wasnt an issue for most of us but if you are used to a climate controlled house (like 2 in our group) you should be aware. Otherwise the house was fantastic! Amazing dock, great sand beach for the kids, privacy, games etc. The perfect getaway! We hope to be back again.

This is the second year we have stayed at the Hummingbird Haven in Huckleberry Bay. We are a family of nine, my husband and I, our two daughters, their husbands, and their three sons, ages 9, 11, and 12. The cabin is perfect for a family our size. The boys love the ping pong table and had a blast having tournaments all week long! The weather was lovely this year, cooler than in the past. The water was very chilly, but that didn't stop the grandsons from having a great time inner tubing, water skiing, and playing in the lake. Priest Lake is a very magical place, gorgeous beyond description, and Hummingbird Haven is a special place that allows our family to make memories that we will treasure all their lives. This house was fully stocked and beachfront with dock was amazing for the small children. Will absolutely come back - already booked another trip.

We had a great stay(except for the smoke. It was smoky from Wednesday through Saturday. But we made the best of it. I’m sure my family will return but the stairs are getting to be a little too much for us😢. We really love the house, location and Susie! Thanks for letting us stay!

This is truly a great property with lots of room and amenities! Very well stocked kitchen and even an extra refrigerator really make it easy to care for the group and the 2.5 baths are wonderful! Great dock and sandy beach for all to enjoy!

Simply a wonderful week at a wonderful property. Monday was a get settled day, Tuesday we picked huckleberries, Wednesday was a fishing charter excursion, Thursday we hiked to the Upper Priest Lake. It was a full, fast and fun week. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed for the stay. Susie was an outstanding Host and we hope she will invite us back next summer. Our family had the most wonderful week at the Hummingbird Haven in Huckleberry Bay on Priest Lake! Our three grandsons, a.k.a. "three scampering squirrels" just lived in the water and had so much fun jumping and diving off the dock. Grandma and Gramps loved watching the hummingbirds dive bomb each other quarreling over territorial rights of the hummingbird feeder on the patio porch. The chalet was well designed for multiple family memory making. I would recommend this vacation home to anyone who wants to enjoy family fun in a gorgeous lake setting!

This property was absolutely stunning. Pictures don't do it justice. We had an amazing week. The cabin had everything we needed to relax and have a great time with our kiddos. Susie was phenomenal and answered all our questions promptly, even during our booking late one evening. We were so thankful for the generator on our last day when a wind storm came through and the power went down. While most of the lake was without power we were very comfortable at the Hummingbird. Thank you so much for a relaxing week away!!

Annual family trip of 5 kids and 6 adults. The home was roomy with plenty to do with games in the loft. Everything we needed to have some nice family meals. Lake was beautiful, lots of dock jumping and floating around.

We had a wonderful vacation. The lake house was perfect for our family. The property was further up the lake, and that really reduced other boat traffic and also put us closer to the thoroughfare and upper lake which we spent a day doing. But that did put us further away from the resorts, which wasn't a big deal unless you like to eat out often. We enjoyed cooking/bbqing big family dinners and sitting on the deck to eat. Mornings on the quiet beach before everyone woke up was one of my favorite times. The sunsets were amazing!! We can't wait to go back next summer. Thank you for sharing your lake house with us.

This was a wonderful property for our yearly vacation. Beautiful home with a nice beach and fire pit. The owner was very nice to work with and everything went very easy and well. We liked the house so much that we have booked it for next summer as well. It's the nicest place we have rented on Priest Lake.

This is a perfect house for a get away. The house is as lovely as the pictures show. It is steps to the water with a lovely little sandy beach. The boat dock is perfect for the kids to jump off and to tie up your boat. It has a very well equipped kitchen. 2 Fridges is so wonderful to have. We used the BBQ a few times it worked great. The location couldn't be better. It is a trek to any stores but come prepared with all your food and that won't be a problem. Priest Lake is a beautiful lake, it was warmer than I expected. We had so much fun tossing hte kids around on the tube. Husband went out fishing a few mornings.

This is a gem of a house. The design uses space efficiency, especially the bathrooms. We loved the little beach and the dock. The verandas are a lovely place to hang out.

Everything was fantastic! Great house, dock and beach. Great swimming are for the kids. Good fishing and float tubing. Loved the ability to moore the boat at the dock for our stay. The boat is very protected in the slip too. The pictures don’t do it justice. Amazing views of the lake from the porches and inside the house. We will be back next year. Thanks P. S. We found out last minute that we could make a Memorial Day Weekend trip happen. We had some specific needs to accommodate our group and this house was perfect! We loved that it was right on the water and was big enough for everyone to be comfortable. The game room kept the kids entertained while it was rainy. The guys caught some great fish and the trails for the 4 wheelers were fun! Susan was super responsive and very kind. Would love to come back

We stayed a week with our adult children and grandkids (12 of us) and really enjoyed it. The home is large and laid out nicely. We loved the small beach area and private dock. Everything worked great in the house. The only thing that would have been helpful was to have better pictures of what's described as the loft with a futon/couch bed. It's actually just on the second floor right in the middle of all of the other three bedrooms so it didn't provide any privacy at all and was quite noisy since everyone was coming in/out of their rooms off this main floor area where the couch is. The main floor room was very comfortable with a king bed and has a super nice large bathroom with tub/shower. The second floor has two rooms with queen beds in them and then a third room with a queen and a trundle bed (so 2 twin mattresses). If you are looking for a true 4 bedroom home this is a wonderful house and could comfortably sleep 10. We brought all of our food in since the closest grocery store is close to an hour away and that worked out just fine. The kitchen was well equipped and we did all of our own cooking. Susan was great about communication and the lockbox worked wonderful for arriving/leaving. We made lots of good memories and really enjoyed this beautiful, comfortable place to spend time together.

If I’m helping other people that have never stayed there I would say take extra garbage bags and plan on hauling garbage least 17 miles, take extra toilet paper, use block ice and possibly dry ice in your coolers because there is only one refrigerator with a freezer in the bottom, take extra soap. To me the upside was well worth the few problems we encountered. I give our stay a strong 3 1/2 stars! Thanks for all your help Susie. Connie

We love Priest Lake. This home had the perfect setting. We had four generations and all ages 1 to 94 enjoyed themselves. The home was very comfortable with great views and a beautiful beach. We would rent this home again!!

This place was the perfect setting for our family gathering. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids enjoyed the upstairs play area when there was rain and they loved being outside when it was sunny. We brought our kayaks and they were easy to launch on the break taking beach front this home offers. It was a weekend we won't forget! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Exceptionally clean and very well appointed “cabin”. Two beautiful large decks that look out over Priest Lake. The dock is excellent for mooring our ski boat and playing in the water. We love this place!!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay in this beautiful home on the pristine Priest Lake. We were so pleased with the house layout, the comfortable four bedrooms, open living area, modern kitchen, double decks and of course the view of Priest Lake! Everyone felt at home and had so much fun! We absolutely loved our stay on this property and highly recommend it to future vacationers!

We loved our stay over July 4th week and would love to return again! Fireworks from neighbors around the lake were spectacular. Susie was very responsive host to our questions before and during our stay. The home was very clean with easy keypad access upon arrival. Perfect amount of space for our group of 3 couples with one child each. Beautifully furnished home with great lakefront views and porch access for 3 of 4 bedrooms. Well furnished kitchen and linens, beds very comfortable. We all enjoyed the ping pong, games, and fooseball on rainy days and throughout our stay. Great beach, fire pit and dock for our boat and enough room off the road above the house to park a boat trailer. Great location north of the narrows to access Elkins Resort and North end of the lake by boat. GPS coordinates were spot on for locating the house by boat and car. Good sun exposure well into the evening and sunsets were spectacular. We launched our boat at Indian Creek campground which was about 25 min ride with our pontoon boat. Several trout and bass caught while trolling and from the dock. Lots of space, quiet getaway away from the rat race. Thank-you for renting your beautiful home on our favorite lake to visit!

Our stay at Hummingbird Haven was outstanding! The home is located in a more quiet area of Priest Lake (Huckleberry Bay), which was perfect for our group. The house is spacious with a great floor plan for a larger group. The kitchen can get a little tight if several people are fixing meals, but the dining room, living room, and deck are all in close proximity to the kitchen, which allows for easy conversations while getting ready for dinner or feeding kids, etc. There is ample space in the utility/laundry room for extra food storage. (There is only one fridge, so we stored coolers in the utility room.) The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of linens and towels. The beach area is fabulous and easy to access, and the docks are in excellent condition. The driveway is a little steep, so be cautious if you're pulling a trailer. The owner is wonderful. She was responsive, professional, and attentive throughout the months leading up to our stay, and during our actual stay. Any time we had a question, she got back to us immediately. We asked if she had a slow cooker -- and she went out and bought one for the house! I highly recommend Hummingbird Haven.

We had the best trip to Priest Lake staying at this beautiful, well cared for home. The house fit our 4 family party perfectly with each room in a separate corner of the house, which offers nice privacy. The extra large game room upstairs is perfect for the kids, lots of open space to spread out and have fun when the clouds rolled in. But our favorite spot was on the dock or longing on the perfect little sandy beach that you literally step out onto from the house. The location is quite remote so you feel as though you have the lake to yourself and while there are neighbors, you can't even tell they're there. The homeowner was very responsive to all of our questions and she was a joy to rent from. Our group had such a wonderful time we are already discussing a return trip. Can't wait to come back!!!
