Den bestmöglichen Standort !!! Im Herzen der Innenstadt von Crested Butte, 50 Meter von der Hauptstraße, Elk Avenue und den besten Einzelhandel und Restaurants, und eine und eine halbe Blocks von der Bushaltestelle zum Mount Crested Butte und dem Mount Crested Butte Ski Area. Mit den besten lokalen Coffee-Shop gleich nebenan, und über die Straße von der Bioladen, hausgemachte Eisdiele und Massagestudios, kann diese Lage nicht zu schlagen! Nur zwei Blocks von fast jedem Restaurant in der Stadt und Leute beobachtet.

This was our second stay in the license plate house and we will definitely make plans to return in the future. We enjoy the location in the middle of town with a short drive to ski slopes. The accommodations are comfortable and check in was seamless. 100 percent recommend!

We were so excited to stay at this iconic location. We weren't quite sure what to expect, the pictures on VRBO were good...we walked into the most inviting and cozy home. Plenty of space for 4 adults. Very comfortable beds. The location is absolutely THE BEST! Camp4 right next door...you are in the heart of downtown. Easy access to everything. It was a fantastic visit!

This property is the best we've ever stayed at in Crested Butte. The location is perfect, being right in downtown and close to all the restaurants, shops and additional activities, besides skiing. Susan has provided everything you might need and has the house decorated wonderfully and communicated with us easily about check in and tips about the house. I am a travel agent and appreciate the wonderful lodging and would be glad to recommend it to anyone interested in staying in Crested Butte. Thanks again Susan

Great location within walking distance to everything in town. House did not have a hot tub as I expected. Rather it had a two-person jetted tub in the bathroom.

The Famous License Plate House is amazing! In the perfect location in downtown Crested Butte & walkable to everything. 2 blocks from the town bus to Mt. Crested Butte. The house has everything. Nice gas fireplaces. Heated floors. Well equipped kitchen. 2 well appointed bathroom. The master has a very comfortable king bed. The loft has a nice queen. The living room / dining room combo is spacious and open. Susan made our stay so easy and communicated every detail. Our family had a blast & we highly recommend this house when in Created Butte.

Our family of 5 stayed here in Crested Butte for the first time. We all agreed that I could not have picked a better VRBO. The house was so cute and the location was exactly what we wanted- right in town and next to a coffee shop. We walked to dinner each night. Just make sure that you have reservations!
The kids loved the loft and we had a few family movie nights on the pull out couch.
The coffee shop next door has constant visitors so expect lots of folks walking around the house if you stay here. We just kept the blinds closed and it was no issue.
Also- if you are coming from low altitude like us be sure to plan ahead. We ended up pretty sick from the high altitude so drink water beforehand!

We’ve been coming to Crested Butte for decades - since our kids (who now have kids of their own) were born - and we’re always intrigued by the License Plate House. It did not disappoint! Great house and amenities and fantastic location. Surprisingly quiet though, personally, I would recommend for folks who just need the two beds and not the sofa sleeper. Great sofa bed but just a little too cramped living quarters for my taste (unless you have someone who goes to bed late and wakes early). Would gladly return!

My friend and I were having a wonderful time staying here for 6 nights. There is everything you need in the home. Steam shower, jacuzzi, super comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen etc
Susan was quick to response to solve a problem we had. We definitely will come back soon to spend some more time at this wonderful stay!

The house and location can't be beat! Roll out in the morning to grab delicious coffee next door, take advantage of the great market across the street, explore Elk Avenue shops, and have a short walk home from many restaurants. Oh, and it was super easy to drive up to the mountain for skiing.

My family and I stayed at this property over New Years and it could not have been better. The location cannot be beat and we were able to walk to dinner and shops daily. There is even a coffee shop next door. It is a short drive or bus ride to the slopes for skiing. My family would def stay here again and are already looking to book another stay.

This is the best location in Crested Butte! Everything is walkable and tons to do. Free shuttles run to the mountain area and around town. Great communication from owner. If this is available this is where you want to stay!

Perfect spot
We had a great 3 night stay. We didn't take advantage of many of the abundant amenities because we chose to eat out, but everything was clean and extremely well-stocked. Despite being next to popular Camp-4 coffee shop, it was quiet in the mornings. I rated the check-in process lower only because I find the VRBO app to be clunky to navigate compared to some competitors. Susan was very responsive and helpful.

Great Location!
The License Plate House is perfect for a family! Walkable to everything and next to a terrific coffee shop. The bed were very comfortable and my kids were supposed with the Jacuzzi and steam shower. It’s a great place to stay!

Perfect location to explore town
Great location to walk to restaurants, shops, or grocery. The house is the perfect size for family of 4 (3 adults, 1 teen), and had everything we needed to cook dinner or to just chill out and watch the snow fall. Master bed was comfortable, and upstairs steam shower was quite nice after skiing. You don’t need a car while staying here - it is two blocks from shuttle stops, has a small grocery across the street, and an easy walk to Clark’s grocery. Someone came by daily to shovel snow. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Everything we expected!
Our family has been coming to Cresta butte for years and always marveled at the license plate house. We were very fortunate to be able to stay for a long weekend and enjoy everything that being in downtown Crested Butte has to offer. The house is wonderful to stay in, very clean, and we had no problems at all. Communication with the property manager was seamless and we would definitely stay again at this wonderful, one-of-a-kind property!

Amazing long weekend at the License plate House
We stayed here for a CB wedding weekend and it was just perfect! An enviable location in the heart of CB but still quiet, cozy and peaceful inside. The house had everything we needed for the weekend. (High quality linens and Comfortable beds; thorough and clear check-in and home instructions, and reserved off street parking spaces!) We lucked out staying here and hope to come back soon.

Great Crested Butte stay!
This property was in the perfect location. Within walking distance of the town, and a 10 minute drive to the ski resort or walk 2 blocks and get on the free shuttle bus! We had a minor issue with toilets backing up but Susan got a plumber to the house within a few hours. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit CB!
