We enjoyed our stay at the house very much. It was very roomy for 4 adults and 6 kids. We would totally stay at this place again.

This was a great house for our family of 11. There was plenty of space and we were not on top of each other during our stay. Three bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get ready for our day, no waiting!! The pool table was a great extra! The location was within 30 minutes from Sea World, 15 minutes from Legoland and 5 minutes from the beach! The bbq was great as well! We would definitely stay here next time! I wanted to get away for a few days. The place was perfect. Just off of ocean and close to the Village. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. Great for a family looking to get away for a week.

Our large family had a wonderful stay here. Close to the beach and shopping. Close to the I-5 for quick travel. Lots of space for the grandkids. We truly enjoyed the house and will stay again.

The furniture in the Master Bedroom is very nice, but the furniture in all the other bedrooms need a substantial upgrade. All beds need to have nightstands and lamps for reading. The jacuzzi control panel does not work, the bedroom downstairs need the walls repaired and painted and the window in the side room (off the Master bedroom) is not working.

There needs to be some overall maintenance done...for example the clogged shower heads and slow draining sinks in bathrooms. Not a big deal, but needs addressed. Michelle was great to work with when we had problems with the hot tub. Overall great house and would definitely come back!

This house worked out wonderfully for our family while in California for a family wedding. We used all the bedrooms with 3 generations staying. The owner was very available via telephone/text and the place was exceptional.

Two families, total of 10 of us, shared the house for 4 nights. Very clean house. Nice neighborhood. Parking on driveway for 2 vehicles. Michelle was great to work with. I had concerns about a couple of needed repairs but I let her know and she responded promptly, as with all questions we had. There are sand toys and boogie boards provided as well as towels for both the house and the beach, which is a plus when traveling by plane. Warm water shower to rinse after the beach and hot tub is a plus! Having the grill for meals was nice. The couples traded off staying in the beautiful upstairs master suite with king bed, balcony, TV, Large double sink bathroom, shower, jet tub and separate toilet room. The downstairs bedroom is quite a bit smaller with a queen bed, dresser and closet, and small bathroom with shower outside the door. More shelving, not above toilet, to place toiletry items would be handy. That bedroom and bathroom has not been updated yet as much as other areas, but is still very well cleaned! And the bedroom has a sliding patio door right out to the hot tub. 3 more bedrooms upstairs, another full bath and laundry room, as well as an open sitting area where the kids were able to play. Gas fire pit out front, nice on cool nights. Within walking distance to the beach. We found it easier to drive north, make a u-turn and park when hauling the beach items for the kids. Allowed us to enter the beach where there was less of a down grade too. They have hauled in rock between the cliff and sand, but this wasn't uncomfortable to sit on and actually kept us dry as the kids swam and boogie boarded. Gas stations, grocery stores, WalMart, restaurants and shops all nearby, just quick drives. Great location as we began our vacation in the LA area and ended it in the San Diego area. Hope we can return someday!

A wonderful, large house that was a great location for a family holiday to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our 5 grandchildren along with their parents. Michelle, the owner, was very responsive throughout the whole time. A short walk to a beautiful beach and a very quiet neighbourhood. Thank you Michelle!!

House was comfortable and well equipped with room to spread out and plenty to do - pool table, hot tub, private backyard for relaxing, beach across the street, proximity to area attractions - great for young and old alike. Loved The Flower Fields which were less than 10 minute drive from the house. Be aware that weekend traffic on the 5 and 101 is challenging - allow additional time if you are planning to drive up or down the coast. Enjoyed sea kayak adventure in La Jolla and hiking in Torrey Pines State Park. House is conveniently located to stores which made it easy to self-cater.

Great location within a block of the beach. Great view from second floor patio. Nice kitchen and layout was perfect for our family. Will book next time we come.

We had a great stay here. The house is within walking distance of a beautiful beach and in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Really comfortable beds and everything we could need for our stay.. Great kitchen with first class appliances. There were a couple of minor problems upon our arrival but a phone call to the landlord got everything straightened out thst first day. Thanks for a great holiday.

This home exceeded our expectations! Very spacious, with plenty of room for people to spread out. Very comfortable for 11 guests, including 4 children aged 5 and under. Although we were in beautiful Carlsbad and had planned to take day trips to places in the vicinity, we spent all of our time in the house or at the beach, which was a short walk away. The kitchen is well appointed and we ate all of our meals there. There was a pool table, fusbol and many games to choose from. Michrlle was super helpful and responsive and the place was in tip-top shape when we arrived. Many happy memories were created there and our 88-year-old parents can’t stop talking about how perfect it was!

We rented this house because of it size and its location to South Ponto Beach. We were overjoyed to have such a beautiful house in the perfect location. The house is large and spacious and it can accommodate a large family/group. The front and rear patios are very quaint, and the hot tub was an added plus. Michelle was very friendly and helpful....we will definitely be a return customer.

We rented his home to attend a destination wedding. It was a quiet, super comfortable location for a large party of 10. We invited family and the wedding couple one night and we had music playing indoors. Our guests said they could not hear anything outside. We used the pool table, relaxed in the common area comfortable, plenty of space to sleep. The only challenges were the water pressure for the shower upstairs shared bathroom, the dryer didn’t function, and their was a hissing sound from the dish washer in the kitchen. We didn’t use it. These things are easy to fix and we let the owners know after we left because it wasn’t a big deal. The place is clean and stocked with the necessities.

The house was very well furnished. We had a family gathering and needed 5 bedrooms. We cooked in and used the kitchen. It is well supplied. All linen was in place, the hot tub working and other than a bad dryer all went well. Michelle (the owner) was very responsive with any questions we had. The location was ideal. We were in Carlsbad for the marathon, half marathon and kids race at LEGOLAND. It was great that both the marathon and half marathon went right by out house a 1/2 block away. We had a band, water station and it was a wonderful viewing position. Our family enjoyed the entire visit.

Our family gathered to greet our son who was returning from deployment- the flags to greet us was a great touch and made us all smile! The home provided great gathering space along with areas for more intimate conversations. We prepared all our meals at home and found everything we needed with plenty of space for us to gather while cooking. The family spent most of our time outdoors in both the large patio off the kitchen and the smaller one at the front of the house. The pool table was a nice addition. Highly recommend this home!!

Our group with kids had a great time! Legoland and the beach was very close, and the property was very inviting. We had a very nice time and will look to return soon!

In Sept of 2014 our group of 10 adults decided to vacation in Carlsbad California for some fun and relaxation. This home was a dream. The floor plan had 4 rooms on the second floor and the 5th room was on the 1st floor with the spa. Everyone had there own space and the common areas were plenty big. The kitchen was the show stopper. Even though we were on vacation everyone wanted to cook or BBQ because the amenities where just amazing. With the few small issues we did incur, the owner was available to us at all times and had things resolved withing a few hours. Overall this was a wonderful home and an amazing rental experience. This home also came with extras such as chairs, boogie boards, towels, and even an outside shower to hose off before entering. So if your looking for a beautiful spacious beach house with all the upgrades, look no further.

I rented the home for my family in Texas who were in town for my wedding. The home is immaculate, the rooms are spacious, the owner is friendly and responsive, and overall my family had a blast. We were able to cook, relax, hang out as a family, and just enjoy our time together in a big, beautiful home by the beach. You will not be disappointed if you rent this property!

Wow. When I walked through the front door of this home a huge smile broke out on my face. It looks just like the photos - only better. We found the home well stocked with everything we could need (kitchen essentials, BBQ, towels, beach items, games, cards..a foosball table! ). The walk to the beach is easy and quick. The hot tub was great. Wifi worked well. Two ovens in the kitchen and six burners on the stove made cooking for many great. What did we do this weekend? We had plans to Paraglide and Kayak..but the Santa Ana winds made that not possible. So...we played games, made LOTS of food, drank some wine, laughed, debated the future of our country and ourselves...we became better and closer friends and further cemented our bonds. We could not have done that in hotel rooms..the house gave us the space to be. Homeowner was VERY helpful in solving our questions while we were there and all correspondence was quick through the entire process. We have previously rented homes in North Carolina on the Outer Banks and it was so wonderful to introduce this type of vacation to our West Coast friends...We are already planning a return trip. We had a simply amazing weekend.

Eight of us hopped into 3 cars and met up in Carlsbad. One of the women lives not too far from this area, one was already visiting some family and the rest of us drove in from Gilbert, Arizona. We were hoping to enjoy some cooler weather, but instead were greeted by some of the warmest temperatures in San Diego this summer. :-( Thank goodness for air conditioning!! Oh well, we still enjoyed walking along the beach, and one evening we watched the sun set into the ocean. We had a spacious, beautiful home to relax in, and celebrated our friendship as well as two birthdays! The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed our breakfast at the table for eight, and lingered over coffee in the lush back yard. The hot tub was in working condition, but we never stepped into it due to the unusually warm weather. We enjoyed our 3-day weekend and just wish we could have stayed longer.

Just returned from a great week with 12 family members. Plenty of room for all to spread out - Front & back patios got a lot of use. Having the grill out back was nice while watching the kids in the hot tub. Cool nights found the kids in there quite a bit. The pool table was an unexpected bonus. Just an overall relaxing experience. Can't say anything bad about our stay as we would definitly go back again. And, I hope soon.

Our little family, 6 adults, 1 teen and 3 children, decided to take a staycation. On short notice we found this house and worked with Michelle to arrange a few days. The price was fantastic and Michelle was very understanding about working out the details. The house was perfect! Wonderful location, beach within walking distance. The house was very well stocked with towels, bedding and dishes. Favorite items for the young and old was the hot tub and pool table. Our homes were near by but this staycation helped bring us together as a family. We would rent this house again.

We had an excellent experience while renting this home! It's close to everything we wanted to do, yet we were in a quiet neighborhood! The beach is literally within walking distance. The house was well provided with beach toys, towels, boogie boards, etc. We had a couple issues upon arrival, one being the air conditioning going out and the kitchen sink had a leak. We called the owner and she had both things taken care of right away! I appreciate that! During our stay, we had 9 people in our party and everyone fit comfortably! My only advice would be to supply a few more wash cloth's. We didnt have enough for everyone, so we had to go buy a few. We would definately rent this house again!
