Unser Ferienhaus ist mit erstklassigen Geräten, Quarzarbeitsplatten und allen Annehmlichkeiten Ihr zweites Zuhause. Es gibt 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Loft mit einer Ausziehcouch. Sie können bequem 6 Personen schlafen. Die Master Suite verfügt über ein luxuriöses Kingsize-Bett. Das große Zimmer bietet viel Platz zum Entspannen und verfügt über einen montierten Flachbild-Smart-TV. Unsere Gäste haben es sehr genossen, auf dem großen Achterdeck zu entspannen und einen Moment der Ruhe auf der bequemen Gartenschaukel zu genießen. Das Loft ist ein vielseitiger Raum zum Entspannen, Schlafen und auch Gastgeber ist ein zweiter Großbildfernseher mit DVD-Player. Unser Ferienhaus ist auch Komplett ausgestattet mit allen Annehmlichkeiten wie Klimaanlage, Wäscherei und verglaster Dusche. Das Cottage führt zurück zur Grotte zum Tigh Na Mara Resort.
Unser Ferienhaus liegt ca. 8 Gehminuten vom Eingang zum Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park entfernt. Der Park hat endlose Strände, die für kleine Kinder mit dem großen langen Sandstreifen großartig sind, und es gibt zahlreiche Wege, auf denen man wandern kann. Am Rathtrevor Beach gibt es einen großen Kinderspielplatz, auf dem im Sommer häufig Aktivitäten angeboten werden. Für die Erwachsenen in der Gruppe haben wir zwei Spas zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Tranquil Day Spa ist Teil des Oceanside Village Resort und neben unserem Resort befindet sich das Grotto Spa in Tigh Na Mara. We enjoyed our stay at this cottage, had everything we needed with the beach was a short walk away. The upstairs loft space came in handy as it had a great big TV up and away from the bedrooms downstairs. Perfect for watching movies after our young son had gone to bed. Highly recommend for a nice relaxing family summer vacation!

We loved staying at this cabin. It was perfect for our family of 4 and small dog. Great layout, pantry cupboard is a nice feature in the kitchen as it was easy to keep all our food in one place (compared to many other cabins we’ve stayed at), well stocked kitchen with a good variety of appliances and plenty of dishes and cutlery, multiple televisions, air conditioning for hot days, and a shady backyard patio with swing chair and other furniture, what’s not to love? Washer and dryer and lots of storage space for clothes (drawers and closet space) made it easy to keep the cabin clean and organized during our stay. Access to great walking trails, including to Rathtrevor Beach (which we did almost daily) as well as Top Bridge Regional Park. Lovely local hand soap in the bathrooms and a bottle of wine upon arrival were also nice welcoming touches. We hope to get back again soon.

This property was perfect and exceeded our expectations. We’ve stayed at Oceanside before so had an idea of what to expect, but this cottage was the best we’ve stayed in. It was large, lovely, clean, had all the amenities you’d hope for (and more!) in a home-away-from-home vacation. Dorothy communicated very well and made sure we had everything we needed to make the stay perfect. I can’t say enough about this cottage and its hosts- what a pleasure. (And the thoughtful bottle of wine on arrival was the cherry on top!) Thank you Dorothy!

Everything was excellent. Fast replies from the host, clean and comfortable accommodation and very well stocked (including a very thoughtful bottle of BC wine). The kitchen had everything absolutely everything we needed. Remember to bring shampoo & conditioner.The location was perfect-we could walk to the pool, mini golf, beach, spa and a couple of restaurants.

This place was an amazing place to stay for our family and dog. We rented this home because of it’s close proximity to Tigh-Na-Mara as we were attending a wedding at the resort. It was about a 5 minute walk to the main resort and 10ish minutes to the beach.
The home was clean, well maintained, decorated nicely and just what our small family needed. It had everything we needed to be able to cook our meals, down to blankets to snuggle up with on the couch. We would gladly rent this home again on our next trip!

Nice quiet location. Location was great for all of our day trips. Place was clean and spotless. All appliances worked well. Huge modern washer and dryer. We did not need to use the AC while we were there. Only recommendation would be to add more lighting. It was pretty dark at night in the bedrooms, bathroom and living room. Kitchen lighting was OK.

Fabulous Cottage!
We stayed for a week at Oceanside Village and couldn't have been happier! This cottage had everything we needed to be incredibly comfortable including a very well stocked kitchen and wonderful bedding, towels, and comfy blankets. We were cozy there despite some grey and drizzly weather! The location is great for families- it's close to the beach but also has easy access to mini golf, bike trails and hikes. We truly had a wonderful time and would definitely consider this place again!

Amazing trip
I booked this property for myself, my partner and my parents who are visiting from scotland. We wanted to take them to Vancouver Island as myself and my partner have been before but my parents have never been. I looked ok vrbo for somewhere we could all stay together and found this gem. Everything was absolutely perfect and when we asked to check in a little early it wasn't a problem. I will definitely be looking to go back. 100% recommended!

We stayed for 10 in this beautiful cottage. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly. Close to some restaurants and essentials. Quiet and private. Dorothy was so kind and a lovely host. We would have stayed longer if it wasn’t booked!

Lovely cottage in ideal location
We enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed cottage. Too many highlights to list but we appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, BBQ and patio (wish we used it more!), cozy king bed in the big room, and three (!) TVs with streaming services for movies on those late summer rainy days! We didn’t need the AC but it would be a bonus for hot days for sure. We took advantage of the pool - just a short walk away - and location close to the beach.
Finally, the owner was responsive and gave us a very warm vibe from the start. The housekeeper even did a drive-by to check on us. Would recommend this place.

Excellent family vacation
Clean and organized home. Perfect size for our group. Stocked with all appliances and linens we would ever need. Central location. Easy walk to beach. The kids loved the pool and mini golf on site. We loved the private deck after the kids were in bed. We had an issue with the dishwasher and Dorothy was awesome with the whole situation. Would definitely stay again. We were lucky to book this cottage at the last minute due to a cancellation. Everything was wonderful, definitely as advertised. Dorothy provided so much great information and quick communication. Such a good stay!
We have rented at a lot of places and this one gets the highest marks. It was immaculately clean and everywhere you looked there were special touches. From the welcome wine and chocolates to toys out for the kids, sand mat and water cooler for the beach. The beds were so comfortable too!

Beautiful Cottage Retreat
We had an amazing vacation in this lovely cottage from the moment we walked in the door! The cottage was spotless, and so many cute touches from the cleaning company ( fancy towel decorations ect..) The decor is inviting, comfy living room, and a beautiful garden with a patio dining set and a patio swing. The two beds in the bedrooms were very comfortable, our only tiny hiccup was the pull out bed in the loft, it was fairly uncomfortable. Our two teens kept swapping between that bed and the second bedroom!! Other than that, they loved the privacy of the loft and having the extra large screen TV up there and their own private bathroom! The location of the cottage is perfect, Rathtrevor Beach is just around the corner and Parksville is literally a 4 minute drive , it's ideal. Dorothy was a wonderful host , very kind and we appreciated her flexibility . I would definitely recommend staying in this beautiful cottage!

We had a lovely time at this cottage, which had everything we needed. Dorothy was prompt to answer our call when we arrived and very accommodating to a request that we had. This vacation home is a few notches above many others in the area. First off, there is air conditioning for those humid hot summer days; Secondly, all the appliances, pots, and knives in the kitchen are of superior quality not to mention the granite countertop in the kitchen. We went in the summer but I can imagine it would be an equally lovely place in the winter too. Last but not least, the owner, Dorothy, was very prompt in replying emails and text messages should you have any. Overall, we felt the cottage is in a good location, clean and luxurious, provided everything we needed to make us feel right at home.

Very nice place. But just note for dog owners the backyard is not fenced. The scenery was extravagant. The pool was also very enjoyable. The only disappointment was that the pool was closed for 2 days when it said that it would be closed for only 1 day.
