We loved being directly near the ocean it felt private and made it so easy with kids to get things to the beach. Plenty of space in the house and the view was incredible.

Simply perfect stay! Exceeded our expectations! Excellent communication, clean and up to date furnishings, with everything we needed for our stay. We never even left the property - there was no need! It was relaxing and perfectly located with a short walk to a secluded beach. We had to pull the kids away from the beach, or they never would have left. The views from the upper living room are amazing! Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

Everything was as advertised. The beach is just a few step away. The rain didn’t hamper our visit. It was a really nice location. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This was our second year staying here. Already checking out next year. Perfect location right on the beach. Close to everything. Perfect for every age.

The proximity to the beach was wonderful. The only negative would be all the stairs/steps, but only for someone who had an issue with steps. At 82 years of age and less than perfect knees, I was the only one bothered. Even so, it didn’t keep me from going down to the beach and using my trekking sticks for long wonderful walks with my family, taking pictures of all the gaiety and joy. This home is beautiful, clean, and well suited for glorious sunsets, a five star for sure.

This home was located right on the beach. It accommodated my family quite well. I would only like to mention that the stairs were a bit steep so anyone with a bit of a disability might have a hard time but otherwise this place was perfect.

Rockaway is a cute small town. We did drive up to Astoria and Cannon Beach for a day trip. Easy drive and saw a lot.

The easy, private path to the beach is perfect. Everyone can wander down when they want, stay as long as they want. The view is lovely from the deck. Neighborhood is quiet. House was neat and tidy. The extra kitchen made prepping everything so much better.

The location trumps the quirks of the house. One thing that would have improved our stay greatly is if both kitchens were properly equipped. You have two kitchens but only one is equipped. This would have improved the convince of our stay with not much cash outlay. We also felt with paying a cleaning fee you are asking the guest to do more housekeeping than one should have to do. We own several short term rentals and have a small cleaning fee. We ask nothing but have your dishes done or at least the dishwasher running. The views and convenience to the beach are awesome which makes this place a jewel. Thanks for providing us a place to make such great memories for my 96 year old mother to my 8 year old twin grandchildren. Thanks

This property met our expectations as it was as described. It was great to have so much space with our adult children—people could spread out and have alone time if wanted. Extremely easy access to the beach! So stormy that we lost power for 24 hours, so we were glad we had brought flashlights and the place came with some. The owner was extremely responsive and friendly and let us delay our departure for several hours to enjoy our vacation more and make up a bit for the time we ”lost” due to power. Great place for families!

Beautiful view. Just over dunes to the beach. Beach is fantastic for walking and running. Quiet neighborhood. Clean house. Very spacious and comfortable. Deck is perfect for watching sunsets.

We loved our stay at this home. It was just what we wanted to be directly on the beach with a wide expansive view. The home is very comfortable and roomy. It was very peaceful and quiet and hardly anyone on the beach. We even had a beautiful sunset! We will definitely be back.

This home provided a great space for our family ranging in different ages. Our oldest children had their own space downstairs while the younger ones stayed upstairs with us. The beach was easily accessible. Amenities provided that were beneficial to our family were the BBQ grill, multiple refrigerators, and washer and dryer. The homeowner was easy to contact and quick to take action when we had a small concern. We visit Rockaway every year for the last 8 years and have stayed at many houses. This was one is now one of our favorites!

This was my 4th year at this property. The house is clean and well equipped. For families with children, the private beach access can’t be beat. No having to cross roads or walk if you forgot something, a child needs a bathroom or you just need another beverage. It’s beautiful and relaxing. If you don’t want to fight crowds, but just enjoy your family, this place is perfect. The Miller’s have been a great host family. I hope to spend many more weekends here in years to come.

We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for multi generation family vacation. Lots of kitchen equipment. The stairs were kind of an issue for me as I have mobility issues, but I managed. Definitely will rent here again

Best beach house ever
This house is steps away from the sandy beach. We loved being this close to the ocean. The view from the deck is gorgeous. The house is perfect for families with kids and grandkids. The two levels were great. Excellent host. Thank you!

Great beach house with close ocean access
Smooth check-in process to the beach house. House and beach access just as described; the main floor kitchen was used primarily, as that is where most all the pots, pans and appliances are located, even though it is much smaller than the downstairs unit. The large dining room table was perfect for our large group!

My family enjoyed staying at this beach house for the weekend. The owner provided beach chairs and sand toys. The kitchen was well stocked with simple necessities.

Beach Retreat
Perfect beach retreat, right on the coast! Beautifully decorated and maintained. You can walk right out the door and onto the beach, it doesn’t get much better than that!

Beautiful place on the beach
This was an amazing place right on the beach. You literally walked out the back and down the path to the beach. It was a great space as well. We had 2 families staying here and it was nice to have the upstairs and main level. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The home was very interesting in the lay out and design, but there was an awesome view of the ocean, super short and easy access to the beach, it was very clean, and the shuffleboard table was a hit!

Nice place in general
This place was nice. Beautiful view from the top floor. It was clean and tastefully decorated. Our biggest complaint is that they need to update their pictures on the vrbo website. They took out the downstairs dining table and put in a shuffleboard table. Shuffleboard was fun for my kids but my elderly parents didn't appreciate not having a dining space (like what they show in the pictures). They also moved all the silverware and pretty much all the pans to the upstairs kitchen which negates having a separate kitchen in the downstairs. Also, it'd be nice if the listing was clear that the front entry is to the bottom floor, not the top floor. We thought there was a separate entrance for each floor since the front entry has stairs going up. In reality, the house is on a slight hill so the front entry is up the stairs whereas the back opens right to the path to the beach. Finally, my parents said the downstairs mattress has lived its life and needs to be replaced. Again, we enjoyed our stay in general but there are some improvements that need to be made to the listing so people really understand the type of house it is.

Big Place with great privacy
What a great place for a family stay. A short walk to the beach and short drives to Manzanita and Tillamook. Excellent location and a ton of room to set up for relaxation after whatever activities you are doing. We set up with the 3 kids upstairs and us downstairs. It worked out very well and allowed alone time as needed. Set up is excellent with two kitchens and the shuffleboard was a bonus. wonderful place for family. Enjoy it!!
