The guesthouse is conveniently located on the outskirts of village Eito and is a great starting point for many hikes in Santo Antao. The rooms are comfortable and clean, there is lots of greenery and fresh fruit - the breakfast was great! The owner and the housekeeper are both very nice and friendly. (There are also two little dogs living there who are super cute!)

Unfortunately, the boiler was broken so there was no hot water. There is also no internet available but the signal is okay so you can get a decent connection through your own mobile data. We didn't mind these issues and still had a great time.

A bit far from the city center and restaurants etc. The mattress is kind old and hard to sleep in. The private bathroom is not actually private (it's shared with other rooms if there are other guests)

The location of the guesthouse is excellent considering the trek route from Cova Crater to Paul. The place is very quiet and I really liked the view from the room and the beautiful garden as well. The housekeeper of the guesthouse was very helpful and nice. The owner speaks very good English.

I stayed in a room with a private bathroom. The room smelled musty and the beds had very hard mattresses. Water was running through the toilet and it smelled of urine. The bidet didn't work. Even though the price of the room included WiFi, there was none. When I asked the owner about WiFi, he replied that he didn't have it and that I should buy data at a local store. He told me that WiFi is too expensive. For breakfast I did get some delicious fruit straight from the garden along with avocado, but beyond that it was just pastries, one boiled egg, butter and homemade jam.

The garden is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast is very tasty and you’ll get fresh fruits from the garden. The cleaning lady is so fun and is absolutely lovely. If you like small dogs you’re in for a treat - they’re the cutest ever.

Very beautiful garden! They serve great breakfast from with homegrown fruits. People are very friendly and the owner speaks good English. Hot water is available on request.

Although it was confirmed by booking.com the host confused our reservation. So we were given a bedroom (literally a room with a bed) with common bathroom but with a discount. Maybe you should contact the owner bofore you arrive to make sure everything is ok with your booking.

The very colorful garden and the staff all around pleasant and a very relaxing place if your a dog lover lady and princess will be at your feet ready to play I just love dogs
