Loved the location! The house was great. The kitchen cabinets don't have handles on them which is kind of a pain. Beach toys and chairs were there and bikes which we loved! Overall great vacation!

Great week between Christmas and New Year's eve for my children/grandchildren. Plenty of space for 7 adults and four children under 11 yrs. Heated pool was perfect for the kids and the hot tub was enjoyed by all. Close walk to the beach and Publix/CVS. Highly recommend this vacation home!

Our family loved our stay. Everything was great. We had an a/c issue which was quickly resolved. Kitchen was well equipped and the house was clean. The house is located in the center of everything. There is a walk to the beach which was not bad. We would stay here again.

Had a wonderful time at Holmes beach. We enjoyed our stay and the home was perfect for our family -each of our five children had their own room which of course was much appreciated by all. The house and pool fit our family very well. The short walk to the beach was easy. I am from Tampa and the drive over to relive childhood memories was not a bad drive and we use to spend vacations in AMI so it was also a nice reunion after 30+ years

House was not clean, pool and jacuzzi were dirty, bed sheets had stains and dog hair... looked like they had not been changed. The property manager apologized for all the inconvenience and accommodated us in another rental (next door) which was an upgrade. The new rental Paradise Beach House was clean and beautiful. Had a little issue with the A/C at check-in, but it was taken care of.

House comfortably accommodated 10 of us with plenty of privacy. The house was very clean. It was great that the beach and Publix were within walking distance. Property management was very responsive.

We stayed with our adult children and another family member and two dogs for the week of Christmas. Although the weather did not cooperate we still had a great time. We had plenty of room for everyone. The elevator was great for getting everything up to the different floors and our older dog quickly became very comfortable with it! There were too many stairs for him! The hot tub was key as it was too cold to use the pool for most of the week. It was in the 40-50's on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Very close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. You could easily have two families in this house with the layout of the ensuite and second bedroom on the 2nd floor and another ensuite with 3 more bedrooms on the top floor. The management even stopped by with a container with a blanket and hot chocolate and marshmallows because of the cold snap. I have stayed in many ,many rentals and have never had that happen! All in all very nice,

I loved this place. Gorgeous island. Property management was responsive and allowed us to check in early. Loved the proximity to beach and stores. I was disappointed that we were not informed that the hot tub was not working, the dishwasher top rack was broken, the thermostat batteries were dead, and there were multiple missing light bulbs throughout the house. Upon contacting the management company, they fixed the hot tub and brought batteries for the thermostat.

We had a great time at Angel Sea! The house could have been a little cleaner and some of the appliances could use an upgrade. But we didn’t let that stop us from having a great vacation! It was the perfect house to bring multiple families together. The Beach Retreats company was wonderful to work with and had quick response times to any questions or needs you may have! We would definitely return to this house if we ever vacation in AMI again!

The property was perfect for our celebration. The landscaping was the perfect backdrop from our event. The house was comfortable and accommodating. The elevator worked perfectly for our needs. The only issue I had was that the floors were not clean. If we walked any barefoot our feet were dirty. Otherwise this place is amazing!! Would definitely book again!!!

First time to AMI
This home was spacious and meet our needs for sleeping arrangements. The pool area was nice and it's a great locaton. The outside landscaping needs attention both front and back and the inside could use some maintenance. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in AMI.

Great house for families with kids
This house was in a great location and was well suited for my family, my brothers family, my other brother and our mother. The kids had a blast in the pool which was well maintained and cleaned multiple times during our week. There were issues with the heater and filter so we couldn’t use it our last day but no big deal for us. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 are for a few things. The downstairs beds were all extremely old loud and creaky. Every turn led to the other person waking up and was overall not comfortable. None of the doors locked properly- which led to kiddos walking in to people using the restroom several times, so not much privacy. (Luckily we were all family so not a huge deal) The other weird thing is that certain channels (ie: Fox) were blocked on the tv. We have mixed political viewpoints so some were happy and others were not- but just such a weird thing for the owners to do regardless of stance.
The rental management company was very responsive, great at communicating and all around a great experience. Thanks!

Great stay with some opportunities
The property was exactly as advertised. Pool and hot tub heaters worked well, interior spaces were great for our group. Location. Is also nice for getting on and off the island as well as a quick walk to the beach.
The house needed a handyman to repair some things like lamps missing switches, clogged drains, and a few other non-critical issues. We chose not to have them addressed during our stay so we didn’t have to juggle service during our vacation. At this price point I expected better on check-in.
We’ve vacationed in AMI off and on for about 15 years. The island is busier and more expensive than ever and we’ll likely look somewhere else to catch some winter rays in the future.

Great Place!
The house was great for multiple families. Good layout and enough restrooms to make it easier for all of us with several teenagers in the house, this was important. The pool is heated which was great and it was cool at night. The pool gets a couple hours of full sun as it's very shaded and private. The patio outside is perfect for gathering a large group. The beach is close and beautiful. The main area is very crowded. Take a 10 minute walk and it's quiet and open and easy to visit. The chairs and bikes were available which helped along with a roller cart to get back and forth. The trolly was easy to jump on and visit other places on the island. Everyone is on vacation there so people were friendly and relaxed. The house needs a little bit of love in some areas, likely due to high rental turn over, a few things didn't work or are broken but nothing we couldn't work around. We let the company know when we left. The house was clean, updated items for most areas and we would absolutely stay there again. We traveled with three families, 12 people and plenty of room for everyone.

Excellent Vacation!
First time vacationing with the WHOLE family. Everything was great. The house was full but there was plenty of space for everyone. The pool with all the shade trees was a huge bonus.
The kitchen was stocked with more than enough of everything. It was literally just bring your clothes and food. Great walking distance to the grocery store, public beach access, and the free trolley stop.

Beautiful Anna Maria rental!
Great location and short distance to beach, restaurants and grocery store. We rented a golf cart to make it easier for our large group. House was wonderful and kids enjoyed the nice pool.

Great Location
Loved our week at Angel Sea with 5 teens and 6 adults. Pool and hot tub were great and access to Holmes Public Beach across the street and Skinny’s burgers was fantastic for our teenagers. House could use a little maintenance as a shower was leaking into a downstairs bath and the outdoor TV was not working but property manager was onsite immediately when we expressed concern to fix to the best of their ability. We rented a golf cart and bikes and rarely needed a car. We had a great week and had everything we needed. Check in and check out were super easy and considering we booked pretty close to our dates we were happy with the value and amenities of the house. We loved AMI and didn’t want to leave!

Angel Sea summer 2020
It was very nice, had a great location but if you want privacy in one of the king bedrooms (on right at end of hallway) FORGET ABOUT IT! the door didn't even latch! It definitely needs a bathroom on the same level as the pool so you don't have to go traipsing upstairs dripping wet. The towel racks also need tightened up as almost all of them fell off at one point. other than that, it was great! very clean!

Excellent Vacation Home
This home is great for a quick get-a-way. We had a fabulous time in the private pool and the beach was within walking distance. The property manager, Claire was awesome. Anything we needed she was on it right away. I recommend this home to anyone with a big family and a pet. Our Bella loved it.

Multiple Families
We had a Great time on Anna Maria Island! The house was very nice and worked great for the amount of people we had. My husband is a paraplegic and even with the elevator it was not very convenient for him. The elevator is kinda touchy and bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. But if you are a walking person it’s a great place and location.

The best location for quality family time
Angel Sea was perfect for a family vacation. It accommodated the adults, as well as the kids. The setup of the house was perfect to keep parents close to the wee ones. There was plenty of open space to have fun and play games. The backyard was a wonderful oasis, and the beach was a quick five minute walk away. the house was well equipped with everything we needed, and Claire was very responsive to any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here for your next getaway.

Perfect spacious Family/Friends Vacation Spot
I cannot say enough nice things about this property.
Location: Not even 2 min drive to the public beach and everything you need is near. I don't recommend walking as the main street gets very busy, but I've seen people walk to the beach.
Property: Very clean, heated pool was PERFECT for January visit. The hot tub was great. I had 3 seniors, each with medical condition and having the elevator helped a lot. Rooms were spacious, TVs everywhere & Netflix access was great for late nights. Well equipped home. Check in & out process was easy and had no trouble communicating with the management. We were enjoying the visit so much I totally forgot to let the management know that there was a towel hanger loose in the bathroom of the 3rd fl bedroom next to the elevator. I would highly recommend this property to family with or without kids. This property was sitting in a very nice quiet neighborhood so don't expect to party hardy at night time (also another thing I liked about this place). I would revisit this spot any day!

Great family house
We really enjoyed our stay. We had 5 adults, 2 teens, and 2 elementary age kids plus a happy dog in our party. The main living floor (2nd floor) has a master suite that shares a bathroom with the small bedroom with 2 twin beds. It was perfect for our family. All other bedrooms are upstairs on 3rd floor.
The house was fully stocked with about every kitchen item you could want on vacation, including a crockpot. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and linens were so soft, including the fluffy beach towels.
We had a minor problem with the elevator - Claire called back right away and came out promptly to address it until it was completely resolved.
While the location was great for access to the main beach, we found the pool had lots of privacy and stayed at the house for most of our stay.
Highly recommended this house for a family with children. This is an important factor in our 5-star rating!
