The property is great and is as advertised. Good space for multiple families and friends. The dock is a huge hit with the kids. The access and sidewalk to the lake is great. Would love to return

We have been staying on Norris lake for over a decade. With more wakeboards on the lake, this location is highly desirable. The water is generally calm, the views beautiful and the owners easy to work with. Hopefully coming back in 2025!

Third year here. Just love this place. The location is great and the house is just the right size for all of us (17 in total). The kids loved jumping off the top floor of the dock. Looking forward to spending more time here in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property! We had minor appliance issues that were handled quickly. Steve was very responsive when we reached out. We will definitely be back in the future!

We loved our stay. Very clean. So many bedrooms with multiple beds, and so many bathrooms to accommodate 12 adults. The hot water was never an issue with showers. Beautiful dock and for Norris one of the easier stairs/ramp for access that I have stayed out. 2 refrigerators was huge.

We really enjoyed the floating dock and slide! The view of the lake is beautiful from all the decks on the house! We rented a boat at Flat Hollow so did lots to tubing and going by boat to other marinas and restaurants was a lot faster than driving. I would have preferred to have the beds made and toilet paper and paper towel upon arrival and towels would have been great as well! Just a few upgrades to what is provided in the house would have made it perfect!

This is our third year renting this home. It is very clean and up to date. We enjoy the double decker dock and kayaks along with being able to come inside and be comfortable with plenty of room for our whole family. The kitchen has an open feel with enough room to cook and still be able to talk with family and friends. It also has two refrigerators! The en-suite bathrooms are also a bonus. The owner is helpful with questions if anything shall arise. It is always a highlight of the summer and we cannot wait to return next year!

We really like coming here. The house is roomy for our 4 families. Kids could watch tv in the evenings while the adults spent time on the upper dock. Plenty of bathrooms and beds. The two refrigerators are a definite plus. The added sidewalk down to the dock is much nicer than the path last year. Not to mention there are not too many steps down to the dock.

Excellent lake house for family get together. Amazing views on quiet cove. House had everything we needed and space for kids and grandkids to enjoy. Small problem with septic system and when owner was notified he had plumber there and things were fixed quickly. Everyone already talking about renting again for next get together

My family loved staying here. The kitchen, dining area and bedrooms where a good size for our family. We had our adult kids and their kids a total of 12 adults and 5 kids. The walk to the dock was as described and we loved the dock. We played all day jumping, diving and sliding.

Loved this place!
My family and friends really enjoyed our stay at May's Harbour! The house was great. The boat dock was wonderful and the spot on the lake was perfect for floating and relaxing in the water without much boat traffic. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Love this place!
What a wonderful vacation! The house is really awesome! Plenty of room for 8 adults and 9 kids ranging from 14 to 20 months. The littles liked jogging around the kitchen island 😊. Two refrigerators is definitely a plus. No tripping over multiple coolers. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The only suggestion I have is to maybe put non-slip things on the couch legs. It’s a sectional and we didn’t find any way to hook them together so they did a fair amount of sliding. Not a big deal, tho.
We found Karen Stone, a local photographer to come and take family pictures outside with the lake in the background.
There is a fire pit with 2 benches and a picnic table near. You might want to bring chairs if there are more people to sit around the fire.
It’s just a short walk down to the dock (which is newer) than the one in the pictures). The cove is quiet with not a ton of boat traffic. It’s really a great place for a large group.

Schools out for summer
The house is better in person than the photos. Responsive host. The roads to get to the cabin were stressful but we were able to tow a 22ft boat up. The ramp is super close and easy to put in. Powell marina is close by for fuel and ice-cream. We only caught bluegills off the dock. Really thought I was gonna catch a poop ride winning bass. Two refrigerators were wonderful. The kids were exhausted every night.

Great, peaceful location.
There was plenty of room for the 13 of us. The location was quiet and beautiful. We rented a pontoon boat nearby and had so much fun.
The only drawback was the cleanliness of the home,especially the bathrooms. The wooden flooring in the main room were very dirty along with dirty windows. I just hope the owners of this beautiful home is made aware. They probably have no idea of the money being paid for the cleaning services , which the renter pay's ,is less than desirable.
Again,the house is great for a large group. We had a wonderful time.

Relaxing Week
The house was the perfect spot to spend the week between Christmas and New Years. Main floor had plenty of room for all to be together with enough space for alone time as well. It was a relaxing week!

Relaxing Family Vacation
It was amazing. This was my first time ever going to Tennessee and I had a wonderful time. The only thing I would say is that there wasn't any phone service, but it was a plus because it made us bond more with one another.

Labor Day fun
We rented this house for a long Labor Day weekend. We loved the location. The house had everything we needed. Communication was great. We loved it so much that we rented it again for next year.

Wonderful stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. And the two refrigerators were a bonus! The walk to the lake is easy with a fairly flat lot. Thank you for sharing your home, we will definitely be back next year!

Enjoyed our stay, would return with wisdom of first stay.
Does not have a telephone land line and cell phone service is spotty. In case of emergency good luck. TV reception is poor both netflix and prime. Needs bedroom table lamps and clothes hangers. Bring your own. Love two frigs for 8 adults and access to water. Must bring or rent a boat to enhance weeks stay.

Great location on Norris Lake
We love Norris Lake for boating and this house is in a great location on the lake with a gentle slope to the water. We loved swimming off the dock and the beautiful view from the porch. The kitchen has a great setup with 2 refrigerators and plenty of space. The owner was quick to respond with help for some trouble during our stay (dock accessibility and air conditioning) and got both fixed right away. The house could use a few updates but overall I would recommend this house.

Mountain getaway with a lake view.
We rented this property over the New Years holiday as a getaway with some of our family. The place is very spacious, yet very comfortable & relaxing. Spacious enough to gather as one group for meals, games, conversation, etc. And spacious enough to allow for small gatherings to spread out and visit. Sleeping/bathroom arrangements were very accommodating. A very enjoyable stay - would like to stay in the summer next time to enjoy the lake, rather than only enjoying the view.

Nice lakeside getaway
We had a great time with plenty of room for our extended family. Beautiful lakeside views. We enjoyed the fire pit by the lake. We could see how a summer stay would be amazing on the water. The 2 refrigerators in the kitchen were great for our large group. Do be sure to bring your own soap etc for the showers, bring your own towels, and be prepared to make the beds yourself which is not the norm. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We've come to Norris and stayed at various properties for 10 years. This is the first time that we've stayed at a property two years in a row...and just booked it again for 2021/year 3. It meets all of our needs: covered dock, comfortable home, large kitchen and an easy walk to the dock/lake. The owner is very responsive and great to work with. We recommend this property highly!

Entertaining and relaxing
The house was very comfortable and well equipped for our group of 13. The double-decker dock provided hours of entertainment for all ages and the lake water was clean and the right temperature. Getting to the place is a little difficult; make sure to follow the directions provided by the property owner.

May's Harbor July 2020
We loved our lake vacation at May's Harbor in July, 2020. Everything about the property and communication with the owner was excellent. We really liked the open spaces -- the kitchen, dining room seating, family areas, and the decks. All was very spacious. We have already reserved for 2021.

Very nice house. We had 14 adults and everyone was very comfortable. Had a minor issue with TV service. I would recommend this location for a large group.

Loved the dock and kitchen area for everyone to eat around the table.
I installed a 25 foot tarp over the boat so my boat did not get saturated by rain and kids dripping off water from second level of the dock. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again in the future. Parking for 5 and trailer at road side. I would suggest a sign on the road for trailer parking space as the neighbors do. I was afraid I was parking on someone’s property.

We'll be back!
We've spent many summers boating on Norris Lake with our extended family and we have finally found the house that fits all of our needs. Ample space for our growing families,, easy access to the covered dock, a clean house with all of the amenities...and there's even a nice neighborhood ramp to launch the boat. We had a great time and will be choosing the May house for next years' vacation!

Spacious, comfortable, & clean!
We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday at this property. Plenty of comfortable seating in the living room areas. Large dining room tables with seating for everyone to eat together; not many properties have large tables! Kitchen had all the utensils, cooking supplies, etc. that we needed. The house is very clean! The yard has a nice area down by the dock with a picnic table where we enjoyed playing corn hole (provided by the owner along with many other games and toys) and roasting marshmallows in the firepit. Owner was very responsive to all my questions prior to our arrival. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great Lake Getaway
We had a large group of friends stay at Steve's place and had a great time. The trip began with a little chill as the heat wasn't working when the first car load of friends arrived. However, a simple call to Steve was all it took and he was able to get an electrician out to fix our issue.
The place is large enough to accommodate the 16 of us who made the trip. It has a beautiful view of the lake, and plenty of room both outside and inside. We are looking to make this an annual trip, and hope to rent the house again!
